Been a customer for about 4 years now and I will never go back to other products. Never had bad expreriences, not with the product nor customer service. For me nothing but the best for my family and this definitely is the best, completely natural product out there.
I have been trying to deal with customer service for 3 weeks to return a defective diffuser which was $260. All diffusers are sold as a kit for first purchase. They only offer replacements. I get a different story from each rep I speak with. I can no longer trust this company due to the awful customer service and would never represent any sales to have customers deal with their terrible customer service.
I've been using YL for a couple years and honestly LOVE the oils. The oils are great and I have never had any issues with the quality or packaging. What I have had repeated issues with- is the customer service and shipping. It took over a month for my last subscription to be delivered and they sent it to the wrong address, and I have no way of getting to it since its a PO BOX. So they sent me a "replacement", which I'm not hopeful will arrive to the right spot.
And, they don't do refunds so I'm sure I'll be out another $100. I was supposed to be refunded for an incorrect order a couple months ago, but it has not appeared on my bank statements?
I really do love YL, but their customer service reps are not helpful at all. Every month I feel like I'm giving them a second chance.
I have been a Young Living member for 30 years. Over those 30 years, I have seen and experienced the steady deterioration of their customer service when you need answers to their shipping mistakes, order mistakes, and billing mistakes. It's such a royal pain to have to deal with these issues several times a year when ordering my monthly auto ship order, or in redeeming my reward points. Sometimes it takes HOURS for them to get a customer service agent on your phone call to them. This company makes MILLIONS of dollars from people like me. It's only a matter of time before I dump them, and find another company that has respect for the people who keep them in business! THAT'S ALL...

When these sales people state that the cleaning products are not banned over the world like Lysol and Clorox. They say they are organic and natural. Well I want them to take a spoonful of arsenic please. That is natural and organic too. Let's see the result.
I ordered one product but got another. I had two order numbers with two different products. I ordered 1 product. Tried to clarify problem to two different agents. My email was lost. Despite their contacting me that way. Didn't have either order number. No offer to help, refund, replace not a thing. Wasn't impressed. To tired to add pictures again to something. You lost me.

I may not be a big volume member, but I have been a consistent member since 2015. I needed to place an order and wanted to use my reward points. Imagine my surprise when I couldn't use my points because my last order (which was just processed) was $4 shy of the minimum because the company had one of my products out of stock. This was not due to my doing. So now I have to either spend MORE money by moving up this month's order or I have to wait until the end of this month.
I don't mind having rules you need them to effectively run a company. When the rules become so stringent that you throw customer service out the window, that is a problem. It is a shame. The oils are great but the company has lost it's view of what customer service means.

This company is the biggest farce! They do not READ! I have a broken diffuser... under warranty! Wrote to YL customer service and the reply? "we appreciate the fact that you want to return our products, but you can keep them, after all our quality in the oils are sensational and there is no need to throw them away because we did not provide you with the service you deserve." UNBELIEVEABLE!
YL told me that my order would be shipped First Class SVC and would come in 7-9 days. Wrong! I received my first order after 19 days. As for my second order, it has been 23 days and I no package yet. I had to call customer service 5 times.
Though I like the products, I was driven to seek another representative because of the extremely combative and unprofessional representative that I am dealing with right now. Her views are completely crazy and ignorant and if you should challenge her she lashes back with harsh comments defending her unbelievable views. She is a narcissist and very difficult to deal with! #dontbealindsay
I received a Feather the Owl diffuser as a GIFT for my son. He absolutely loved it. The diffuser, lights, and sounds worked perfect, for about two weeks. Then the sounds wouldn't work. I contacted customer service to try to troubleshoot or get it replaced. The customer service I received From Jade S. Was telling me that since it was a gift there was nothing I could do about exchanging it. I asked If she could help me figure out why it stopped working and I got told that I may need a new diffuser or new parts but I couldn't do any of that, even though it has a one year warranty. If you want to waste your time and money to be extremely disappointed in a product that stops working in two weeks then this is the product for you. The customer service rep Jade S. Was completely incompetent in listening or helping out the customer. Everything about this experience has been horrible. DO NOT BUY.
I have never been so excited and then let down by a company in my life! They are LIARS, you can't return anything without a fine or penalty. Best part without you knowing they change your status so that you are unable to chat or call with a complaint. I'm packaging EVERY single item I have open/unopened and returning. Calling my bank and reporting fraud as these products are not marketed as stated and it's a total SCAM. $600 in oils is unheard of, I don't give a flying F*** how good they "good" "natural" "pure" they are. When I lived in London and ordered from Neal's Yard, 1st they were 1/50 the price, pure and there wasn't a hidden membership. MLM schemes are what they are schemes and thieves! I will loose a friend over this, however I'm so mad at this point I don't even give a rat's a**. THIS IS BEYOND SCAM!

I find it hard to read the negative reviews as I have had an account with YL for 6 years. If a family relationship is "ruined" that has to do with the people involved and what's going on between them. If a rep is ‘pushy' that is their choice and you get that in all businesses, find another. YL does not make anyone do anything, it is how the individual person behaves - their choice to be that way just like anything in life. I have never in 6+ years had a Cap that split, find the staff I deal with so polite & professional, have made some beautiful heartfelt friends and find the quality exceptional. ( I am very sensitive to synthetics) I live in Australia & we have 39 oils approved for food and beverage use. How many oils out there have been approved in that way?. There will always be the critics, the naysayers, those that just like to have something to bang on about in everything that goes on in the world around you, and for those that have had a genuinely negative experience I am sorry to hear. Have your own voice, make your own choice, experience YL for yourself. Referral no *******.

I received an automatic order that i did not want. Received it and turned it back to company within a day. Did not touch any of the products and i was charged $69 for the entire order and then they only gave me a 38$ CREDIT...

What a horrible company. I ordered the Alkalime which I think is an excellent product because my friend let me try it. My first order arrived damaged. They shipped a plastic container in a regular (non padded) envelope so the container was broken open and unusable powder everywhere! I couldn't get a person on the phone, nobody responded to email so I used the online chat feature. It took 1 1/2 hours of my time for the person to confirm my order and agree to refund my money. I asked for a refund as opposed to them shipping another bottle for fear the same thing would happen. I wanted the refund and then be able to go on line and order the version that is individual packets which is shipped in a box. So finally she agreed to give me a refund. Great. Then I get an email that they are going to send me a return label so now I have to spend another 30 minutes of my time to go somewhere to send it. And the kicker is this…. They are deducting $6.95 from my refund to cover the shipping to send back a damaged product. So basically, it cost me 2 hours of my time and $6.95 of my money to purchase something from them that I don't have. Now isn't that special? And I don't have it in me to go back on the chat line to complain about the $6.95 cause I'm sure that will take a minimum of another hour of my time. Writing this review is even more of my time, but I want people to know what a horrible company this is. I spend thousands of dollars on line every year and I never have to deal with a company like this. WORST customer service and policies EVER! Don't give this company any of your money. What a joke.

I was a loyal member for over a year. Trapped in with their monthly mandatory $50 order. I came to a point where I didnt need to speak $50 plus tax and shipping each month on oils however decided to keep ordering their ninjax drink. For the last two months we have had shipping issues. First they charge $20 for expedited shipping only to have the drinks arrive two weeks later. For April I didnt even receive my order.; UPS tracking never picked it up and each time I call YL I get the runaround! They dont know what happened, blah blah. 3 days on the phone trying to get my money back. I finally had to dispute with my bank and block any charges from YL!. You can easily find products just as good if not better elsewhere. They are cheaper and shipping is usually free or much lower. No other company traps you into this pyramid scheme! They brain wash you into thinking you can make money! No you cant. The only way you are making money is buy dishing out your own each month and trying to trap others into buying this stuff monthly. Once ppl realize whats going on they drop off and you are stuck!

I bought a Young Living diffuser and oil set for my wife for Christmas for $170. She set it up immediately and 8 days later it was leaking water all over her nightstand so I took it back to the consultant I purchased if from. Its now over 3 months later and I still have not received a new one.
In the meantime I have purchased 3 different off brand diffusers from other stores for a total of $85 and they all work flawlessly. Now I'm being told that new parts for our Young Living diffuser will be in soon and I should have it back in no time.
My wife and I have made numerous calls to the Young Living customer service number with every call ending with the same answer - This needs to be handled with the person you purchased it from! There is no other way to get this taken care of.
Our Young Living diffuser is cheaply made, over priced, and broken. So its basically useless. The Young Living costumer service operators have no helpful answers and are for the most part useless. And the Young Living consultants are nice people who do a great job unless there is a problem and then they become as useless as the operators and their products.
Horrible experience with ordering from this company. I follow someone on FB who was promoting the Aria Diffuser and clicked the link to order and filled in all the information including my credit card and could not find my order or tracking information. I emailed customer Service and received a response three days later saying they could not find my order. I called the number listed on the website and explained what happened and the person on the other end could not help me and hung up on me. I called back and spoke to someone else and was told there was no order. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there wasn't one available. She was finally able to process a new order after 30 minutes of telling me she couldn't do it. I originally placed the order with the product being 50% off and had to pay far more when the mistake wasn't even mine. Had to pay upgraded shipping as I needed this for a gift. A cost I shouldn't have had to pay for since a week had gone by since I ordered. There was no apology for all the inconvenience I had to go through, just to order an item. Nobody should have to work this hard to buy a product.
A bad experience and the last purchase I will make from this company.

The most HORRIBLE customer I've ever experienced as I submitted my review to the BBB and terminated my membership via submitting the form from my HOTEL this past summer during the pandemic while on vacation which was the HAPPIEST this year I've ever been! Don't waste your time or money on these HIPPIE or HOLY HUNS trying to get you to join their cult when there's other HIGH quality EO companies that are very HELPFUL and HONEST! You know HONORABLE as they aren't MLMS :)
