I'm surprised to see bad reviews about zavvi. I have ordered games many times and always received them within a few days, never had any problem. I live close to england where I think this company is founded. The games are about 25%-50% cheaper than in my country (netherlands), even the brand new ones.
These guys must make most of their money on the delivery fees because the delivery takes twice as long as they estimate yet they charge like they've hired a private jet to hand it to you
Ordered several sale items. After three months, about 1/4 of my order has arrived! Making matters worse is that they are trying to charge me for stuff before they even have it in stock, which has really created chaos with my debit card! It takes 2-3 weeks for customer service to get back with you! While they do have some very interesting and cool movies at good prices, I'm not sure all of this hassle is worth it!

I swear back in the day, this used to be a good company?! I purchased something that was due to arrive at the beginning of this week. I've now had to go to a shop and purchase it as I'm getting no responses to emails or they're failing. Has the company gone bust? Will never order from these people ever again!
I wish there was a zero star option! I ordered two Lego advent calendars for my kids in November 2020 that never came. They told me they couldn't track them because the order went out of a warehouse in Guernsey that "they can't track shipments out of" but they show it shipped out, so there was nothing they could do. I am so mad I want to cry. $64 is a lot for some people now and I am one of those people. Please order from somewhere legitimate! This site is not.

Bought some Lego that went out of stock after I bought it. Wanted it in time for Christmas but now have had to buy it from elsewhere and cannot get in contact with anyone from Zavvi. They don't reply to any messages or Twitter DMs. All I want is to cancel the order pre dispatch and get my money back and it's proving impossible. Do not buy from them
Shocking almost non existent customer service, items not shipped and claims of out of stock although still selling. Standard stock response at the third attempt of making a complaint... This company is terrible..
Got my punisher pop in and the box was in poor condition not even worth adding to my collection also took way longer than they said it would to get here(and no way to track it)will not do business with this site again should of read all the 1 star reviews before buying from this $#*!ty site
Ordered a box set DVD and was told they had problems with my credit card. Cancelled the order then tried to reorder it, and funnily enough the box set was out of stock. A week later, the box set is back on the site with a price rise! Not willing to pay the dishonest price hike, however I keep getting constant emails from them saying "Order Status Update" - there is no order. Making me suspicious that they may charge my credit card regardless. They're either really unscrupulous or not the brightest crayons in the box.
DVDs are not formatted for US. Cancelled order within 1 hour after reading their terrible reviews. Customer Service completely ignored both of my requests, took my money and sent dads that are useless to me. No receipt in packaging and they will not accept returns without customer service authorization, however, customer service will not respond. Complete online scam, stay away!
I received a damaged item from Zavvi (Third time in two orders). After being sent a returns label that didn't work, I had to pay the return postage myself. I contacted Zavvi, who told me that there is nothing they can do. This company frequently sends damaged goods, and then makes you pay the return postage. Avoid at all costs.
Worst customer service I've ever spoken to, they've run out of the pre-order that I've purchased and months later they email me saying that it's no longer available, so they send me a 30% discount code that doesn't work and when I try to have it resolved with customer services, they not only don't provide me a different code, they are finding excuses between 5 different agents to tell me that they don't produce discounts or that the promotion is not applicable to all the products, even though the email they sent me says otherwise.Zavvi has become crap, I wish them nothing best, I hope they shut down. Bunch of scammers.
After over a month I still have not received my item despite being told it will arrive by 29 January (now 17 February). No one will refund me. I am out of pocket and have tried to get a refund multiple times.

You can't call them. They have no live chat. You can't even reply to their emails.
They took my money and haven't stopped processing my order for 2 weeks.
The staff just send the same copy reply each time and refuse to cancel.
Its outrageous a company can act like this and not be shut down
Ordered a limited edition blu ray box set, of which arrived damaged in a very poor bubble wrap postage. I had to pay the return postage.
Now The item is stuck in customs with very expensive custom fee which Zavvi are not willing to pay.
Very disappointed.
P. S This is not the first time I have received items received damaged.

I'm really surprised by the reviews, I guess only dissatisfied and angry customers come here to vent. Anyways, I have been ordering from both zavvi.com and zavvi.es for several years now (you can see in the picture that I have five pages of purchases) and never had a problem with them. Once, they lost a parcel and I got quickly refunded, but I had made plenty of other purchases from them and never ever had an issue.
I purchased a small fridge for my grandsons birthday which he wanted for his bedroom. Within 2 weeks it had started leaking I was told to send it back and they would refund me. My daughter in law posted it back 3 weeks ago and they keep saying they did not receive it. She lost the receipt for postage so I can't prove it went back. I am a pensioner and cannot afford to lose the money and buy my grandson another birthday present. I am trying to escalate my issue but they just keep responding with the same old thing show us your receipt. I know that fridge is in their warehouse and I am gutted to have lost this money. Poor quality goods and poor customer service
This online company are a shambles. We waiting in for two full separate days for a collection, returning an item they had sent wrongly after I cancelled it! We even had to pay £10 to get the item uplifted as their bizarre "customer services" just insisted that it was an "unwanted item". At this point, we are still waiting for an online response after another 5 days. Avoid this mob, regardless of any bargains, they are the worst ever. I only gave one star as there's no option for zero.

Never received my item, Zavvi said "I had signed for it." Load of rubbish. Was home 24/7, as were my elderly neighbors who keep an eye on the neighborhood. Zavvi hen refused to either send my item, give me a refund, or ret to ANY email when I said it 100% had not been delivered, neither I nor my neighbors had taken receipt, and was not left anywhere on my property. I was home, I should know. Total rip off and scam.

None of my orders were fulfilled properly, none of my items came within 5 weeks or later, 1 out 10 items had damage, and when I left, they refused to close my account, as a former customer now I'm on here so everyone knows to stay clear of these guys, they tell lies about resolving problems and issues, none of which have ever, ever been sorted, they also steal from my account for no reason! But something that should be noted is your ignored, no matter what it is they do nothing, none of my items arrived on time and only 1 out of 10 come undamaged, for a review I'd say stay well clear, don, t go there, as you end up having to do their work for them. And the type cast response when they respond is always a resolved issue, not true none of the issues or problems were resolved,

Pre-ordered game 3 months before release. Release date rolls around and no game.
Contacted them and got a reply saying that "Your order is on special order for you with our supplier but at this time they are unable to give me a date for when they will have it back in stock. In the meantime our buyers are trying to obtain this for you from other suppliers."
Contacted them again and said that I didn't understand why they were out of stock of a pre-ordered game and that I could do with some idea of when I would receive it.
Reply was "I am very sorry for the delay in this order, once the item is in stock it will automatically be despatched straight to you."
Not answering the question and offering no reason for how they could fail to deliver my pre-order.
Despite the loss of pre-order bonus items I am cancelling the order and will not be buying from them again.
I bought a sweater for a Christmas gift and still not having any answers from this company for days now appear that maybe I will receive after Christmas! Really! Why you dont show that during the purchase! Horrible service!
Ordered an XBOX One bundle on Black Friday as a Christmas present. Customer Service have advised me via email that they have no stock and do not know when they will be getting any. No telephone number to call the company and I will now have to purchase from elsewhere. I find this really annoying as I could have got an equivalent deal from elsewhere at the time. I have never used them before and will never use them again.
As a follow-up, I received a message from a Customer Service representative in February after they had read this review. I was asked for my order details so this could be looked into. I supplied the requested information and have never heard from them again!
DO NOT order with Zavvi... it's a total waste of time, money and energy... My order on 4. 12. 19 still has not been dispatched and despite numerous requests for a cancellation (it was supposed to be a Christmas present) I keep getting the same repetitive response of it taking '3-4 working days to process the request' (it's been 12 days since I first requested the refund)...
NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! They said they had stock in Australia but a month later my order was still processing. When i asked about it i got an auto-generated reply. 3 weeks later i cancelled order and i still have not received a refund! Not even paypal can help me. Complete scam site. Save your money and go elsewhere. Don't buy from this criminal web site!

I ordered two sweaters that were labeled as being able to fit children up to thirteen years old, but they were way too small for my 11 year olds. The sweaters were supposed to be black, but they were dark brown. They sent me one sweater, despite the fact that I paid for two. I had to message them through their website (because they wont communicate through email) and ask them to send me my full order. It took several weeks for them just to ship it. Now I have been waiting for weeks for them just to send me my return slip. I checked my account on their website, and all of the messages that were sent between us are just gone. I intend to open a payment dispute through my credit card. I wish I never made the mistake of shopping with Zavvi.
