I'm surprised to see bad reviews about zavvi. I have ordered games many times and always received them within a few days, never had any problem. I live close to england where I think this company is founded. The games are about 25%-50% cheaper than in my country (netherlands), even the brand new ones.
These guys must make most of their money on the delivery fees because the delivery takes twice as long as they estimate yet they charge like they've hired a private jet to hand it to you
This is the last straw! I have order multiple times from Zavvi and ever time it has been nothing but a hassle. I have tried to cancel my order I placed two weeks ago because it would not arrive on time for what I needed it for yet I have had no response other than we have escalated it. Horrible customer service! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

Ordered 3 Pops. Was told they had shipped. A month later I find out they never shipped. Now one of them was out of stock. Said they would refund my money and send the other two. Two weeks later they still haven't shipped when I find out a second one I ordered was out of stock. They have not contacted me once about this, I had to contact them every time. Now they are telling me they never sent the one Pop and they are now out of stock! Worst Customer Service Ever!

Ordered item said it was sent out the same day - courier (Hermes - groan) states it returned item to sender. Contacted Zavvi no response. Contacted again still waiting. Website says a cancellation was initiated - it wasn't.
Not a great showing - avoid - not worth the risk - you can get much better service elsewhere.
I placed an order for $1057.00 worth of stuff. They sent me one item, to be clear they sent me the wrong item which I had to return and they would not pay for the shipping even though they made the mistake. The slow rolled me and ultimately made the claim that I received it all when I know for a fact my Fedex guy refuses to leave any order that is either large or needs to be signed for. Overall I am saved because I used Paypal and well. Paypal doesnt mess around. These guys are horrible humans and you should never ever ever do business with them.

Find a company that doesnt try to steal peoples money like ZAVVI. Find a company that delivers the stuff people buy unlike ZAVVI. Find a company that hires customer service people who can do their job. Find a company that is not filled with thieves and liars.....

The one item I did get was the wrong item and I had to return it. The company wouldnt send me a paid return label even though they made the mistake. That should have been the one and only thing I let happen. The rest of the order still has not been received yet they are now saying it was delivered. I didn't end up getting any of the items in the order in question. This company is terrible and everyone there is going to hell.
I'm so glad I purchased through PayPal. The item I ordered was marked as in stock, confirmed a week later as shipped, then a few days later as an error occurred in shipping. After that, I received an order cancellation, after my PayPal account was charged. I contacted Zavvi to no response when I did not see a credit back. I then contacted them through PayPal to no response. I finally opened a PayPal case and have my money again after over a month of this debacle.
I will never purchase from them again. They may not be dishonest, but they at the very least have poor business practices and communication to customers.

I bought an expensive item which was damaged in the post. To organise a return you have to email them. It takes at least 48 hours to get a response. And then the message you get will lead to having to send another message, so another 48 hours. This will happen at least 3 times. Awful in this day and age. I won't ever buy anything from them again.
Appalling company, I ordered an item in November for my daughters Christmas present, they stated it was in stock. I contacted them as I'd heard nothing from them, only to be told it was out of stock. A week later their site told it was awaiting picking, another blatant lie, so I contacted them again, guess what, it's out of stock. A bunch of chances who are not to be trusted.
Awful customer service, no phone number to contact them on (in the 21st century) and fails on promises. Paid for delivery within 2 days, got it delivered a week after this. Too late for the concert I was going to. Asked for cancellation, denied and still charged me. Not bothering getting a refund from returning as couldn't possibly interact with this embarrassing company again. Awful, awful and awful. Please SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE.

I pre-ordered a 4LP vinyl set. There were two delays that they contacted me about - which is fine. It's happens these days with vinyl. But then at the 6 month mark, I realized I hadn't heard from them in awhile. Initiated an online chat and was told that I "had not contacted them to direct them to cancel or to dispatch" the item, and the rep immediately asked if I wanted to cancel. None of their emails said that it was my responsibility to "cancel or dispatch" - only that the item was delayed and they'd let me know when it shipped. It felt very much like the company just wanted me to cancel my order and go away.
Good selection - Always good deals and prices but the only thing that lets this site down in my opinion is the sllloooowwww delivery times. If you want a bargain but are happy to wait then Zavvi are great but if you are in any rush to get your hands on your goods (i. E. ordered for birthdays on a tight deadline etc.) then I would think again.
Ordered 3 weeks ago and nothing had been dispatched. Tried to contact them and always get the same response "there has been a delay". Nice work Zavvi I am aware of this.
No offer to sort the problem, no refund, and no product... seems to be the definition of a scam to me?
Don't buy from this site. I ordered in October and the items are not even going to make it by Christmas. They are also impossible to get ahold of and there is no way for me to cancel the order to get new Christmas gifts since the item says "shipped" for a month now.

This is by far the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I've been on this planet 56 years and have never had dealings with any company that comes even close to these. I am amazed that companies like Zavvi stay in business, they don't deserve to. Seriously, avoid these like the plague as they're the opposite to any company you want to deal with. They must be staffed by morons, I can't believe their unprofessionalism.
Paid for two blue rays. Still waiting for one to arrive after three months. E. Mailed them the said waiting for new stock. I told them to cancel the order and they said i could not as it was part of two for ten pound offer, Do not get ripped off like i was.
Zavvi sent me a DVD series knowing and admitting would not work in my zone.
I asked questions prior to my DVD purchase (including where I was from). At no time did Zavvi inform me that the DVD's would NOT work in my area. They happily took my money and would not allow me to return the product because it was open.
I filed a dispute with my bank.

I ordered a set of Black Books DVDs to be shipped to the US. The price was right, but I should have looked at Zavvi's reviews first! Zavvi sent an e-mail asking me to wait three weeks before letting them know that the product had not arrived. When I contacted them after five weeks, they told me that they couldn't do anything for me after four weeks; no offer of reimbursement or any such thing.
How bad can a company get ordered Game of thrones special build set and t-shirt 3 months not arrived and all I get as an answer is waiting for stock. Ordered again a Star wars t-shirt for Christmas for my son and Mystery box guess what box shipped so they can grab some cash but no t-shirt and again just waiting stock as an excuse they are a con been bitten twice never again
Two orders were placed two months ago, not a single one of them has turned up.
I've tried contacting their "customerservice" 3-4 times this last month, hoping for an answer, each and every time, no matter what I ask for, I get the same answer: they are investigating the cases and aim to give me a reply within 48 hours. Then I hear nothing from them, until I ask the same questions again... and receive the same answers... again...
I mean, the items ordered were less than £40 together, why not offer a refund or replacement items after two friggin months?

Avoid at all costs. Costumer service is the worst I've ever seen. They say they'll investigate further and a week later nobody has ever heard of the issue. After over 10 messages there still no offer to refund an order that simply wasn't delivered. They are trying to play the waiting game and hope costumer don't have the energy to continue so they can keep your money.
I ordered a dvd boxset for a christmas present and got the 2 to 3 day delivery, after a week i TRIED to contact them to discover no phone number has been available for 2 years, sent an email and was told to wait 14 days to make a complaint, it did eventually turn up 2 weeks after ordering but was too late to give as a present so am now stuck with a boxset i neither want nor need. Unacceptable will not be ordering from here again.
So finally hearing from customer service from this crazy company... I ask them that I would like to send back the movies I purchased since they cannot be watched in this country and they tell me I cannot do an exchange because I opened the dvd so they could not resell it. How do they think I was able to find out that the movie could not be played in this country?
Wish I would have read these reviews prior to placing order with this company. My story is very similar to all the other reviews on here. Ordered dvd that has no content. Zavvi makes it impossible to contact them, no phone number. They tell you to log into their website through zavvi.com not uk. Zavvi but zavvi.com doesn't exsist and yes their cheeky replies that they are there to help. No they aren't they are just trying to play games with you until the return time expires. Horrible company!

I ordered 10+ items from their Terror 2 Collection on Oct 22 and the order is STILL processing on Dec 2. Was promised shipping within four days - it has been six weeks. I have contacted them several (6, maybe 7) times about it but I keep on getting scripted replies that they are "investigating" it and that they will get back to me. But here's the thing, they never get back to me and everytime I get in touch with them it all starts over.
They've told me several things - unprecented demand, covid restrictions, processing in the warehouse, shipping as soon as possible etc etc. All BS that never answers my question of when this will be shipped and they won't refund.
Oh yea, they didn't hesitate to charge the money the day after I ordered either... Absolutely distraught by this website and service. Should have read reviews before I ordered. Stay away, they scam you.
This was my first foray into buying lego from a website other than bricklink.com. And oh boy was it a mistake.
I cancelled one item from my order first due to a delivery estimate of 4 weeks from the purchase date. That was successful. The Issue came when I tried to cancel the whole order with the last pending item. I found the item cheaper elsewhere with a much faster shipping estimate. It was stuck on processing cancellation for a week before I contacted customer service.
All they did for me was tell me that the item 'wasn't cancelled', they made no attempt to cancel it. I then asked them specifically to cancel it, waited a day before it miraculously reached the dispatch process then they replied they couldn't do anything.
Do not buy from this website, source your Lego from a reputable seller on Bricklink.

Order your advent calendar from zavv...why! Because they are a complete joke thats why. I ordered mine on the 29th of october, it arrived on friday 10 February 2023. Yes thats right February! For 2022 in 2023. They also took two payments for the same item.
And charged £4.90 postage and packing on a so called free delivery. So come on everyone, get your advent calendar from zavvi, guaranteed not to turn up for its intended purpose, which sums this company up. So later THIS YEAR i will be buying from very. Same advent calendar lower price.
I purchased a set of dvds from them and apparently they only work in region 2 (UK) devices. I asked for a return label and refund and they said they would not return the item because it was already opened. Well how was I supposed to know they didn't work in the US if I didn't open it?
