I'm surprised to see bad reviews about zavvi. I have ordered games many times and always received them within a few days, never had any problem. I live close to england where I think this company is founded. The games are about 25%-50% cheaper than in my country (netherlands), even the brand new ones.
These guys must make most of their money on the delivery fees because the delivery takes twice as long as they estimate yet they charge like they've hired a private jet to hand it to you
BEWARE SELLER. I have email exchanges with zavvi regarding sending opened items. I Reported them to Better Business Bureau, Federal trade commission and filed a dispute against zavvi with my bank. I sent pics of a $666 order and they offered a measley 10% off. I agreed to get it over with. They told me to close the dispute with my bank. I closed it and they still didnt give me a 10% refund. They sent collectible action figures opened... outter box removed and theyve given me a hard time since Day 1.
I placed my order on 11/1 with estimated shipping on 11/4. I paid for upgraded tracked shipping, and now it is 11/7 WITHOUT ANY MOVEMENT on my order. I contacted Customer Service on 11/5 about this, and was told it would take up to 5 days for them to respond. Today, I contacted the live chat and was told that I needed to remind them in 45 mins and come back then. I feel like the entire site is a joke and Customer Service is completely unhelpful. I have attached photos of my chat transcript from today. I WOULD HIGHLY ADVISE TO AVOID THIS COMPANY! I am so disappointed.

Website says you have 14 days to cancel an order. I tried to cancel my order after ten minutes, they stated that it could not be canceled. This company is a scam. Save your cash don't shop here

I ordered a DVD set from Zavvi.com. I checked the item description multiple times to ensure it would play in my DVD player. There was NOTHING that indicated it would not. So I ordered their repackaged DVD set. After it finally arrived I opened the cellophane, I saw a small dent in one of the packages. No big deal. I attempted to play it on both of my DVD players, only to find that I was met with a regional error. I tried to contact the company about the issue. I was given the brush off. They said that because I opened it, that they could not accept it for a refund. IT WAS A REPACKAGE TO BEGIN WITH! Stay clear of these people!
MOST ITEMS ADVERTISED ARE NOT IN STOCK BUT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AND THATS THE LAST YOU WILL HEAR FROM THEM! You won't get a refund either unless your lucky. Keep your money and look at the reviews they tell you everything. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE UNLESS YOU LIKE GIVING AWAY MONEY FOR NOTHING!

As a big LEGO fan I was excited to learn I could purchase sets released in Europe ahead of US release date with only slight mark up. I placed a order for 4 large sets on 6/17. All of which said they would be dispatched within 3-4 days. Got an email that 2 had shipped immediately and remaining 2 would be dispatched within 10 days (I would be notified when shipped). Two sets arrived quickly and in perfect condition. After No communication on other 2 sets I emailed customer service on 6/30 asking for update and when I might expect shipment On remaining 2 sets. Day later received "form-response" just saying shipping of orders is delayed due to lots of orders/Covid and that I will be notified when item ships. On 7/15 after still no word on order I was able to "live-chat" with customer service who looked up order and finally told me they do not have the item, nor can they tell me when they would expect it. I was then told the items were "pre-order" which was never made clear in my initial order. Still confused why I got 2 of them. I was allowed to cancel the items and was offered a $5 credit on future order. I declined the credit as I can't be sure if any the items I would order are actually in stock or "preorder" and when I could expect them to be shipped (if ever). Sadly won't order from them in future and upon doing this review see that customer service is a chronic problem with the company.
Shipping is the slowest, it took forever for them to ship and now that it's shipped it's taking forever to get here, probably won't be here in time for Christmas so order like two months ahead
An unreliable merchant, totally disappointed service experience
My purchased order was placed and I paid total £261 on 26 January 2023 but it was cancelled by Zavvi without given any reason and explanation on 28 January 2023 but Zavvi didn't refund any quid to me up to 3 February 2023. I have kept messaging to customer service colleagues each day but they don't care their customer they just said what their refund procedure was. 3-5 working days for customer support team to confirm the cancellation and taking further 5-7 working days for refund to be seen on account. It means to take total 8-12 working days for refund successfully. Their colleague NYLAH has confirmed me that. They are hesitant to help customers and they just don't care of it. Received and keeping improper money is not their problem they just play their customers to explain their internal procedures. Every time when I contact them, they just repeated another new count 3-5 and 5-7 working days. When I really get angry to ask for their CEO contact, They would not care of it even I give a warning to publicly writing reviews on Trustpilot Twitter Facebook but he doesn't care it. I have never seen such shamefulness dealing o believe it is a most shameful dealing.
Hope when your company CEO see it and process the refund to me immediately. By the way please re-training your staff how to solve problem with customers and give respect and keep his promise to customers. He broke his promise with me also. You can ask your colleague for details.

Hey, your website selling the Lego product which totally not in stock, and customer services tell me 3 times that I need to wait from 17 Nov till 22 Nov till 24Nov and then till 02 December, this is a totally lie to the customer, pls everyone Avoid this Website!
I ordered a DVD set on October 20 2022. After waiting 3 days with no word as to shipment, I requested a refund. Their reply, NO refund, it was being processed, even though they hadn't found the product.
It was finally shipped on Monday October 24th, but with a delivery date of October 31st to November 7th. That's about 18 days, it arrived 1 day later on the 8th. A small parcel shipment from the UK to Toronto Canada.
As a comparison, 50 odd years ago, I sailed from England to Montreal and took a train along with my sea-chest to Toronto, in 5 days. Yes, 5 Days. It took this company 19days and they charged me $14.99 shipping.

I brought six PCS Of Collector's Edition, I spend's $443, They ship me return item that was Damage, Dent on the case, Item losses in the case, Item not in the brown box they come in. This is what they ship to the US, WHY WOULD A COMPANY TO THIS?
They did not include the free item that was to come with my order. They refuse to send it. Refuse to refund. They had a hidden shipping charge. Just stay away from these dishonest Fu**s.
Trying to return an item that arrived poorly packaged and damaged - Has taken weeks to get a replacement sent out from their email only customer services, and once I did, they ignored my requests to have it packaged in a box. Lets see if this one arrives damaged too.
They have literally ignored pretty much everything I have said to them, and get this - THERE IS NO UK PHONE NUMBER TO CALL, UNLESS YOU BUY THROUGH EBAY- THEN YOU CAN CALL CUSTOMER SERVICES... Don't call them unless you do buy through eBay though because they wont help you.
USELESS company and I wont be dealing with them again.

Replacement arrived damaged as they ignored my 2nd request to put it in a box to protect it. Three products all arrived damaged. Fed up trying to get a replacement that isn't damaged and got my money back after about a month.

I'm writing about this frustrating website that shouldn't even exist.
I placed an order for something, it was a limited release (100 prints) and I did so way before it was sold out.
After many follow up emails with reassurance that I would receive my order and I just need to wait, I see on their Instagram that all orders have been fulfilled and sent out.
I then proceed to ask for assistance on both Instagram comments, DMs and their email contact for customer service.
Not even a single response on Instagram, they don't seem to care about people asking questions in their comment section - uselsss.
Email support was even worse, they reply and say they are waiting on stock from the warehouse.
How stupid can they be? Waiting for stock on something that only has a limited amount and apparently everything is already sold and sent out?
I'm not the only one with this problem. It's extremely disappointing.
Then today I get an email to say that my order didn't make the cut.
How does that even make any sense?
I ordered within the limit but mine doesn't get prioritization for some reason? How unfair is that?

I ordered a christmas present 1 month early so I could ensure I got it on time. Expected delivery date was dec 11th, time went on and on and I still to this day don't have my order. I had to tell my brother his present was coming. I don't think it's ever coming.
I have been speaking with customer service for over 2 weeks they have tossed me around to 4 different employees instead of dealing just one. They said they would give me a refund then asked to confirm details of my order 3 times! Then ANOTHER employee said they can't do anything unless I make an account with the email address I ordered with even after confirming all details and ANOTHER employee allowing a refund.
All of this to say, this is the worst experience I have ever had online shopping. Don't do it.

Awful experience which is still continuing. Ordered a lego set that says was in stock and said 3-5 days for delivery. The clause is the free magazine which you have to accept on ordering. Beware of this. 10 days later the say the free magazine has been shipped but its never arrived. I asked where the lego set is a it was supposedly in stock at the time of ordering. Its being processed is their answer. Next it's now in their technicolour warehouse( a new warehouse which they can't contact). Next someone says for me to wait for 30 days for delivery. Are they having a laugh. I want a refund please I ask. No is the answer as part of your order has been shipped. This is the danger area. Its the free magazine that has never arrived.
Anyway I have spoken to trading standards and asked zavvi for an address to send my cancellation in writing. I am still waiting for this which they have not provided to me. In the meantime they have admitted they do not have the stock yet and have given me the option to cancel or wait. I am awaiting their response to my request of a cancellation otherwise I am going to my bank on Monday to show them all correspondence to do a charge back. They shouldn't be allowed to sell items they don't have as this is misrepresentation and should be classed as a pre order if it is not in stock. Bad.
I ordered the Goosebumps DVD collection for my nieces birthday present. Once we received it in the mail we tried to play the DVD's and neither a DVD player or Blue Ray player would play them. I emailed customer support for a refund and they told me they would not let me return the item for a refund because it was already opened. Mind you, the item was not factory sealed anyways and only came in the packaging they used to mail it! They told me that their DVD's will not work in the US because our players are formatted differently than theirs in the UK. I told them there was nowhere on the item description that said the DVD's would not play in the US on our DVD and Blue Ray players and that if that is the case they should not be selling their products to the US if we are unable to even use them! They still refuse to refund my money, so I will be filing a complaint against their company!
