I wanted to change my bedroom windows in Old town Burj Khalifa from 15 years old double glazed into triple glazed soundproof windows. After confirmation with the salesman Mr Soheil about frame type, glass and frame colour, the windows came after roughly 2 weeks. Frame was different from the sample, frame and window color wasn't correct and the glass was double glazed. After long discussions and wrong information that double glazed coated window panels would be as good as triple glazed, they changed the window panel into triple glazed with correct tinting. But the frame wasn't appropriate for triple glazed window glass panels as it was 31mm instead of 25mm double glazed. As they didn't change the aluminum profile holding the window glass panel from inside, gaskets could not be installed. After long discussions and over 3 weeks construction site in our bedroom, they used in some parts of the windows silicone and in other parts a gasket, what is not made to seal the window.
One of the window closing mechanisms they could not use, so they drilled holes in the frame and installed a primitive closing mechanism, what cannot be adjusted.
Overall an absolutely unprofessional work what in the long run won't be even waterproof.
I'm totally disappointed and I could not believe how a company can accept such a work, if there are no experts working.
Update 16/04/2023:
After publishing this review, the manager Mr Hasan approached me and promised to change both windows completely, admitting that the work was not done appropriately. I agreed. A few days later he suggested to change the aluminum profiles of the mobile part of the window only, as this would allow installing gaskets on both sides of the window glass panels. The fixed two window panels in the lower part of the frame they could not change the aluminum panel, hence there cannot gaskets be installed. I agreed, but I didn't agree on deleting this review in advance, but only after doing the work. After that I never heard back from him and my windows are left in that unfortunately unprofessional way. Furthermore, today I discovered that they missed to install a frame gasket in both windows on the hinge side (see photo)
