If you are doing a build it yourself pergola and you are trying to stay in this price range, do not go with Zen pergola. The brackets are of thinner and inferior material compared to their competitor. Attachment screws are inferior. Multiple times during my build the screw head snapped off even when going through pre-drilled holes. Their brackets are shorter and offer less support and have much more Sway and wiggle in them. As a point of comparison I bought one of their competitors you Channel privacy wall brackets to finish out my build. You can clearly see the difference in material quality in both the metal and the powder coating.
I assume at some point in the future I'm going to need to disassemble my build and replace the brackets with those of a similar price competitor.

Company's return policy is the worst. The item pictured had parts that were not included in the actual item delivered. Item description is not very succinct and clear on the excluded items. Customer service is the worst and does not work with the customer to resolve issues.
