Thank you, helped me make a CV within 10 min including 13 years of experience and a detailed description of all the information that are needed for every job title.
Today i tried to update a few things and at the end i had to pay 2,70. Which was fine until i received an email saying 'Your payment was declined', and at the same time i see the transaction as finished in by bank statements. Not only i could not download the PDF but also got scammed into some kind of subscription.
Today in the night, my bank account was changed 23,70 USD + 5 USD Transaction Fee for no reason, I don't have Zety account (I deleted) for more than 5 months. It is ridiculous no validation for the payment was asked or informed in advance. Pls. Don't use Zety.

They will sucker you in by giving the opportunity to create a cover letter for $2.99 but they will still charge you $22 for a subscription that they sign you up for will continue to charge you if you don't go back in and cancel the subscription you didn't sign up for. They will not refund your money. VERY VERY DECEPTIVE rAND DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES! They should be reported to the BBB! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

They are very sneaky and how they take your money. I paid them $2 whatever they needed to get a simple cover printed.
Months later I realize they are billing me $23.75 per month. I did not even go back to their website and they were still billing me.
I tried to talk reasonably to the person who answered the phone but her only agreement would be she would give me 1/2 discount for the last month but every other month they will not reimburse me.
I would not recommend using this company unless you read all of the fine print.

I am utterly furious with the deceitful practices of Zety SCAM! After initially paying $2 for a trial over a year ago, I recently discovered that they've been sneakily charging me $23.70 per month without my authorization! I never signed up for any subscription, and attempts to contact them have been met with silence. It's daylight robbery, plain and simple.
Furthermore, I have never received any receipts, confirmations, or any form of documentation typical of legitimate businesses. Your failure to provide such documentation further supports my claim that you are engaging in dishonest practices.
They're shamelessly stealing from me each month without providing an ounce of documentation. This company is a disgrace and a warning to all. Beware!

I use any to create job applications for both of my sons. I love the many template options and recommendations that are provided to create a resume that stand out while creating an opportunity show their unique personalities. Once once the boys submitted their applications to various jobs, they received phone calls the very day they submitted their application. I am happy to say both of them were hired the following day after submitting their applications! Customer service is also very helpful, pleasant to speak with and accommodating. I would recommend ready to just about everyone who is searching or changing occupations.

While Zety offers an extensive list of job titles bullet points for the application, awesome templates etc I was concerned that if I used only what was provided by them that it would potentially read as a template building resume rather than a personalized resume. So I used the options they provided but added language and descriptions that were unique. That allowed my sons to stand out and draw attention to their uniqueness and personality.

They offer a text file for free download, which is quite ironic. If you have a paid subscription, it should be prominently advertised on the main page, but they choose not to. Instead, they let people invest time and, in the end, demand payment, causing frustration and coercing them into paying. It's indeed a clever psychological tactic.

My partner downloaded a template for $2.95 around 3 years back. Zety deceptively included an ongoing membership somewhere in the small prints in the invoice. Did not take any informed consent.
Since it was below $50 per month, I failed to notice in my periodic checks of credit card transactions for fraudulent activities.
When we contacted zety.com for a refund as we had never agreed to a subscription and never used it, they are dodging. They replied in Trustpilot only for a show.
Stay away from this shady business.

Unfortunately, I tried the trial version but after that ended I got charged for a whole month(which is the same price as a whole year) without my consent and while unaware. I tried contacting customer service regarding my subscription details and options I had for cancelling but got an literally irrelevant reply(AI generated). I'd recommend you try something else. These tactics seem sneaky.
*August 2023 update, I received customer care email with an apology and a refund. Even tho truly Zety services are fine, customer care and sneaky subscriptions are doing more harm than good. It's definitely a plus they're trying to make amends with dissatisfied customers. I hope that applies to their automatic renewals as well.

You also cannot remove your credit card from their website. Have to cancel my card and get a new one. So, the website itself is great. Just not enough time right now to want to put money down until I'm ready. However, the Cancel Subscription button never worked on any browser I tried which was a disappointment. Their email response is slower than molasses. So I ended up having to find time to call. Canceling on phone was at least quick. It felt a little weird though. No hold music. It was a little hard to hear the person helping me but she was quick to resolve my issue, so for that I'm thankful.

Just be prepared for the cancel button not working and having to call in. The no hold music and all may seem odd, but you are talking to Zety CS.

There's no way you could cancel the subscription yourself and have to call them. When asked to remove the credit card information, they said they don't have that information in their server and sent a page that is too generic. Had to order a new credit card. And their advertised price of $5.75 per month turned out to be misleading. After my trial ended, they charged me $23 instead. Stay away.

No replies to my emails, no one picks up the call. I have been trying to cancel my subscription as soon as the free trial was finished by guess what you can't. I assumed I had already cancelled my subscription and then I get a notification stating that Zety has taken so-so$ from my account. Imagine my shock when I had already assumed it was cancelled. Since then I have tried contact their support and their has been no response from their side at all.
