on 4/15/15From my experience, there are as responsible sellers and is not responsible sellers. Second worse then have to raise a dispute. If this does not help, then raise a dispute above, and then as they say it all depends on You. As far as your arguments are strong. Almost always get a refund in the amount of shipping cost or part cost of the goods, if the goods were not received appropriate quality. Less full price. The full value is returned when the order didn't come at all. Also when you have paid but you did not send an order for a certain time. But again, it all depends on your arguments and facts provided by the seller or, to the Commission on the proceedings of the claims. But it is also necessary to take into account all the items from the seller, this is what guarantees he gives, product reviews buyers. And his overall rating. Never be lazy to write a review about the product from a particular seller, you will be the same customers as You.
There is also an important factor, which I would say is pretty negative. It if the product was defective and not as described on the website. The seller has the punkt
Returns accepted if product not as described, buyer pays return shipping; or keep the product & agree refund with seller.)
1. If the seller accepts returns, and the buyer also wants to return their purchase, simply follow the seller's sets of Returns on who will pay the return shipping fee. If the seller will pay the fee, communicate with them in advance about the payment method and the logistics service.
2. If a seller sets no return necessary or you want to keep the product, simply agree the refund amount directly and ignore the return shipping fee.
It turns out that if you decide to return, it will often more expensive than the product itself and the meaning of no turning back, because when you return the money, only for the goods excluding the cost of shipping there and back. Therefore, I can not sell brand quality products, and will only return part of the money for the goods. That financial will have a negative impact but only You. Which means be careful, $#*! all the "pros" and "cons". You are not forced to buy it personally, Your decision. The more You provide facts that you have been deceived, the more chances and money You have spent, You will return. For all the time of purchase, the money is returned in full or in part.
The Commission for the analysis of complex situations works, but is considering the case for a long time, so don't despair if You didn't reply, just "keep abreast" and you will not lose anything
Sorry my bad English :)
Hello All,
I read through many of your responses and I would like to defer from many of yours negative review posted in here about Aliexpress.
I have been importing different types items from Aliexpress from past 2 years plus. I have never faced any issues with the sellers nor I have ever lost my hard earned money. I would like to share my thoughts and experience on it, how to safely do business on Aliexpress.
1] Always select your seller wisely, by looking into their profile for rating and customer feedback. Only buy from sellers who have more then 95% rating. Speak or chat with the seller before you place the order with them.
2] Shipping details are mentioned on the product description, check properly before ordering, many of them provide free shipping but remember free shipping takes time to reach you because item is sent via local post. Having said that, free shipping also have tracking system so you can track your shipment like you can do it for DHL/Fedex etc.
3] Quality of the product is always a gamble, whether you buy from Aliexpress or any other international eCom site. On Aliexpress no seller claims originality of the product, ofcourse there are many original China brand. My Advice, order a sample product first and then if you satisfied order more.
4] Buyer protection: Its 100% safe guards your money. But you should accordingly act on it to claim you money if the product is not received by you at the given time. If you keep quite then the Aliexpress system will not know if you received the product or not. So act immediately.

Getting a refund was a long and protracted process, complete with hoops to jump through. One of the hoops was including an attachment - this was necessary, otherwise the "complaint" could not be sent... What I did was to make an attachment of the complaint that I had already written on the form(in MS Word format) and send that. Ali Express did not respond to me with anything but and automated response for a long time; it was only after I put the matter into "contest" with my credit card company that they responded. My credit card company had already sided with me after they review the evidence of my complaint... Then Ali Express say they were giving me a refund: the fact of the matter is that my credit card company had already given me the refund. BEWARE! Or, if this sounds like the kind of company you want to do business with: go for it.
Like most say already don't buy big, buy small. I learned my lesson the hard way and never will i buy anything over $10 from that site. Never agree to return the item and dispute it till your dying breath. Call your paypal or cc company and give them a heads up with what is going on. Buyer protection is full of skid marks. Buy at your own risk. For me so far after my first mishaps with the seller/site, I have been more careful and so far got almost everything I bought so far even though it took a few months to get. Just expect shipping to be snail mail. Seriously they might as well have a snail or turtle bring it.
Message the seller just before buyer protection ends tell them you will open dispute if you are not satisfied with their answer. 9 times out of 10 they will respond in a hurry. I have opened dispute on a couple of 'too good to be true' purchases and received my money back from Ali Express. Follow guidelines and suggestions from others with good reviews and you should be satisfied. Dont buy electronics.
China does not have the same engagement level as other parts of the world when it comes to buyer satisfaction... My guess is people don't realize this and expect the same service they would get from their corner store. My only advice would be to never spend a large amount of money on a single item and pick your seller carefully (Aliexpress is like ebay). I have placed a few orders on aliexpress and so far everything is going well for me. But i only buy if i am comfortable with completely losing the money i paid were i not satisfied with my purchase. I am not willing to fight over any purchase made on aliexpress, China is far, far away and tehy have tons of customers. Aka: they dont really give a sh*t about you and there's not much you can do about that.
I can't speak for everyone's experience, but the buyer protection helped me feel safe, and it turned out to be nothing. It's an out of country website, and it's easy for them to rip you off as there is basically no one you can report them to since they are overseas. This sight reminds me of a Nigerian scam, once you give them money you'll never see it again, including the item you "bought". And I can say this because it's been over 5 months without a product or money back. Disgusting people..
Actually I like buyer protection on Aliexpress MORE than Ebay. Seriously, I had someone pretend to send an item on Ebay and they had this very far out shipping date. I didn't notice that date passed, and when I tried to dispute and do a bad review, Ebay said it was past the 30 day window to dispute?! What? The ship date they gave was more than 30 days so they set it up so you could not dispute... such BS. I only managed to get a refund because I paid with Paypal and they allowed 190 day dispute./// Conversely, on Aliexpress when an item didn't come yet I asked the seller to extend buyer protection and told them if they did not I would do a dispute. In once case, the product came a few days later, in the other case the product did not. For the latter one, I went ahead and proceeded with a dispute. Yes, the process is a little slow, but given I only paid $3 I think I can wait a little while for that refund... And in many cases I recently got cute dresses, tips, skirts, etc. for way less than retail prices and they came in 1-3 weeks. I've bought many really cute outfits that I get compliments on when I go out and I paid less than $100 total for 20 items.
I've only ever once requested a refund after hundreds of purchases and it was so easy. I simply opened a dispute and said that I wanted my money back and it was put back onto my credit card in a few days. This website is not a scam, people just see low prices and buy without doing their research, then they're surprised when their product isn't what they though it'd be. Like any other website and in stores, be a smart shopper.
