I bought 2 tags to start with.think they were on-sale for $ 10 each. Regular rice was over $20 I got recieved had a little ring to attach to dog collar ring on didn't had to use a key ring. The little ring broke. Tag was lost, contacted byte tag, said they would send me a new one just for shipping. I then bought 2 more for my rescues. After that first problem plastic got scratched and QR wouldnt scan. One got chewed and wouldn't scan, 3 rd one plastic tab broke off. I have have contacted buyers tag about all of this several times. I have yet to receive a response. Don't buy ok product but not super reliable and poor customer service.

Bee 🐝, my Aussie Doodle, has had a ByteTag since she was a puppy. Her tag was scanned by my neighbor when Bee 🐝 decided to visit him. The GPS notification worked perfectly, I was notified that she was "visiting" my neighbor. Since then we have been scanned only once to demonstrate to our trainer how the ByteTag works. Small price to pay for peace of mind for one's fur baby.

I have had two bytetags for my dogs for just over 3 years. I would like to say that I absolutely love them. I have complete peace of mind when I take them out off leash. I love how if your dog is lost the person who scans the bytetag can share the location with the owner. I also used to carry multiple different dog tags on their leashes which caused alot of different clanking noise. I love having my own custom URL for my dogs with all of their different needs and information on it. The designs of their tags are also very nice and pretty. Them offering a Lifetime Warranty on their items are also a massive plus in my book. I recommend Bytetag to anyone with pets that are off leash.

Both of our dogs have a ByteTag and I've even tested it out and as soon as I scan it, it gives the whole rundown of each of my dogs and how to get a hold of us. It's easy and even provides their vet's information. The customer service is great, too. One of our dogs eventually broke the thick silicon tag and since they have a lifetime warranty, I had reached out to get a replacement. They responded quickly and helped me get a new one ordered just as quickly. I absolutely recommend the ByteTag to anyone who wants to make sure that if their pet is lost and found, that they are well taken-care of until you are reunited again.

Able to leave a lot of detailed info without having a large footprint. Able to limit private info, while still being able to impart if necessary--can leave info about medical, chip implants, and friendliness among others. Customer service responded promptly.

The order comes in pretty quickly. It was easy to set up and use. I like that I get a notification every time the tag is scanned. I originally bought the epoxy one, but it broke from my dog playing too hard. Then we went to the silicone one and it has lasted since! I like that there is a warranty on all tags. After my dog's broke, I was able to email customer service and they gave me a code to buy a new one. I only had to pay shipping which was less than $4. I even got to pick a different design. I do wish that there were more design options and ability to customize it to state at least the dog's name instead of Byte being the first thing people see. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the results.

I bought our tags last year. Originally there was an issue with the split ring and Byte took care of it right away. They answered all our questions promptly via email and they have amazing customer service. The byte tags themselves are a great way to make sure our pets stay safe in addition to the microchips! Can't say enough good things about the product and this stand up company

I have had my pups ByteTags for well over year, almost two now. It is the best product I have ever purchased for my dogs. The set up process is simple and allows you to add details I never would have thought of before. Thankfully I have never lost my pups, however, it is very comforting to know if I do I can turn on 'Lost Mode' on the app and will be instantly notified if/when someone scans their tag and allow the person who finds them to contact me with an exact location of where they were found.
I cannot recommend this product enough! I personally prefer the slider that goes on the collar rather than the tag since my pups like to play and tags typically fall off quickly, however both work in the event of a lost pup.
I'd like to add that the customer service is outstanding. We happened to lose one tag. After reading over the warranty details I reached out and was promptly responded to with details on how to receive a new tag (all costs were covered other than a $3.42 shipping fee. In my opinion it's worth it!)
Overall this is a phenomenal product and has the company has amazing employees who help out with any questions or concerns.

The byte tag has been a God send. We have a Shepard mix who often wanders away to neighbors when we're outside working around our little hobby farm. And the ease of scanning his tag to get in touch with us is so easy even kids have done it when he wandered to a group of them playing outside. We love our byte tags. I absolutely love bytetags. My babies are chipped but I also put bytetags on them for more convenience to the person(s) that finds them if they are ever lost. My first set were hanging tags and delivery was fast. The second ones I ordered go flat on the collar. Those took longer At Christmas time.

Honestly, I would encourage everyone to get this tag. It may take more than a moment to get your tag, but it is a QR code that needs to be created on a beautiful tag. Once you get the tag you have peace of mine knowing if your pet is safe if they ever get lost.

I have purchased the standard tags and the silicone tags for my dogs. My one pup is very rough on things and has somehow managed to rip his silicone tag off. I love these so much that I plan on replacing it with the flat tags. I highly recommend you get these if you have pets.

Made my order over a month ago and haven't gotten anything in the mail. They had no problem taking my money immediately. When I reached out a couple weeks ago they said " We're still a relatively new business, so we're working out some issues as we go." If this is a legitimate business, I seriously doubt it will last.

(1) a great idea, only the tags don't hold together in rough play; the scan code falls off and (2) the app doesn't work right, loses the login information -- the very last thing you want to happen when you've just lost your pet is to be required to create a new account!

I ordered a tag almost a month ago, they charged my card immediately, I received an email confirming the ordered stating I would be advised when it shipped, but it still shows shipping pending. They provided a UPS shipping tracking number but it says it's invalid. There's no phone number to contact them. I've sent them several emails with no response.

I ordered a personalized version with my dogs name and ny phone number printed on it. It said it would take 2-5 days. I waited a week and nothing came. I emailed the company and they said "oh it takes 4-6 weeks for the personalized ones, it said it on the site". Well, I went to check because I had never seen that, and they had deleted the product entirely! I'm now at week 7, I have heard back from them 3 times via email (takes DAYS for a reply) and every time it's placating "oh we will prioritize your order and let you know" or the last one "oh maybe it got lost in shipping" even though it never showed as having even been made. I have suggested they just refund me and they continue to give me the runaround. I went out on a limb to support the small company despite my husband wanting to go with a bigger namebrand and now do I look the fool! Horrible customer service experience. Lots of lying and avoiding the issue.

They shouldn’t take on orders they can’t complete! They need to be honest and just refund the money.

Placed an order on 12/4/23 and charged immediately. Order has never shipped, over a month later. I have reached out to the company via email and social media with no resolution. They sent an email asking for a review which I clearly gave a poor review. I included my order information and asked for resolution with no response, again. I filed a BBB complaint since PayPal has the transaction marked as unable to file a complaint (not sure why). Don't waste your time and money. Many other complaints about being charged and and never receiving product.

If i could give negative stars, i would. I ordered two of the byte tags and the beginning of December 2023. The shipping label was created on December 10 and USPS is still awaiting the package as of today, 12/27/23. I requested to cancel and refund on 12/16, since there was no way it would get here by Christmas and i had to buy replacement gifts. They have ignored the request and keep saying they will investigate and let me know when it is shipped. Absolutely insane. BUYER BEWARE.

Very excited about Byte Tag and ordered for my dog. I filled out all necessary info and placed on my dog's collar. Cheap design/plastic probably b/c it broke off (metal ring was still in tact) after only 6 weeks. And my dog is an inside dog who gets walked twice a day. DO NOT BUY—it will not last.

Initially I was really happy with the purchase. It looked great on my dogs collar, was easy to scan, and had all my information on the page. Two months later the tag cracked and then shattered! It did not even last one summer. It's very unfortunate but I hope that Bytetag can strengthen their material to prevent this in the future.

I originally ordered a tag for my dog on 9/28, and I still haven't received it or gotten any confirmation that it's been even created or shipped. The customer support response is just a canned email that says it takes 3-4 weeks to ship. I ended up filing a dispute charge with my credit card company

I hope you enjoy your tag for its beauty because their website does not describe how to actually register your tag so it is very useless! Just like most products you purchase online, beware cause you are screwed once they get your money! Might as well just flush your money down the toilet.

I got my byte tag back in Septemeber of 22. First when receiving I thought WOW! I paid this price for this thing? Anyone I did a practice trial checking it out and it was awesome. Got the account set up and everything. August of 22 I switched phones I downloaded the byte app and it keeps telling me the email does not exist. I only use 3 emails I tried all 3 says none exist. I then in Novemeber of 22 contacted byte support for help. It is now Jan 23 no response. I submitted help several times giving all 3 emails and nothing! I even decided to say my dog was lost to expedite and still not a word or single reply! I tried creating a new account but then I scan qr code and says tag is in use. Very frustrating very upsetting. Very glad my dog isn't lost because if he were I'd be extremely passed off.
