Dan Q so they basically denied receiving your returned product? All because you didn't have a tracking number when you sent it back? That's horrible... did I read that right?
I have similar thoughts and will help spread the word. This company s business m8del does not place customer satisfaction at the proper Level. I just had a situation where the billing dept overturned a customer service decision to issue a credit due to their mistake. Their customer service manager supported the billing dept and admonished the agent for making the proper decision in my case... symptomatic of senior manager business philosophy... his choice. Mine is not to buy here... just placed a nice order with Rock Auto.
I've posted them and their tactics on the Crossfire forum and Facebook pages. Along with links to here. Hopefully will save some of them from the grieve that CarID does deliver on time.
