Took over 20 DAYS to unlock! And spent the 100 to get it unlocked immediately. And bc of the longest waiting time. I now have unlocked my phone for no reason. So direct unlock wasted my time and my money. Sent multiple emails stating that the almost month wait was too much, and wanted a refund but was declined! 0/10. Had to put one star just to even write this review but that's the only reason I put one star. Highly disappointed and definitely not satisfied.

FALSE ADVERTISING. Again only put one star bc I had to, but sent multiple emails stating the almost month wait was too long. Wanted a refund and was told multiple times that I could not get a refund bc it was too late in the process. But didn’t get my phone unlocked til 2 weeks later!!! I feel lied to. Forced to get something that I was not satisfied with. 0/10. Definitely not satisfied and definitely not happy. Was trying to unlock my phone to sell to a friend. Bc of the month long wait they went else where and now I’m stuck wit a phone that I paid 120 dollars to get unlocked for no reason. Highly highly disappointed. And will not be recommending direct unlock to nobody. Worst experience ever wit this situation and I promise you I won’t be using this company ever. EVER. again. Rip off for sure. And false advertising.

I got the unlocking code after a week of waiting however my phone does not ask for unlock code when inserted a different sim so it didn't really helped. Contacted the customer service a few times about what else can be done and she says the same thing over again, that the unlocking code had been given and thus the service is done. Just a waste of money

Since your phone has been marked as "Unlock Complete" and you received the unlocking codes, the next step is to ensure the phone prompts for a code, which sometimes requires using an incompatible SIM card. Please double-check if you're using a different carrier SIM that is not locked to your phone.

If the device doesn’t require a code, it may need a Remote USB unlock, which is a separate service. If you haven't done so already, I encourage you to reach out so we can assist you further with the best solution for your Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Update - I received an email they credited back the "Eligibility Fee". I will wait and see if it appears on my card. They admit the charge process is confusing, yet won't take steps to make it clearer. Probably because they know it works in most cases.

They make it look like you are purchasing a code for $29, in fact you are purchasing an "Eligibility Check" that you can find out your self by simply calling the carrier. They make it sound like it is standard practice done by all unlock services, I assure you it is not. They say it is clear at check out what you are purchasing, it is not. Why would I have to look again in check out what I am buying when the front page of the site implies I am buying something else unless they are being intentionally deceptive? If I get credited back the $29 to use towards the unlock code, I might proceed with the unlock. If not I will be initiating a charge back and we will see if they illegally blacklist the phone as they have threatened to do to others that tried charge backs.

This service was flawless in the end. It took 24 hours and when 24 hours was up no unlock code was received. So I used online support. They advised be patient as there are times they need to use more than one means. Two hours later. Perfect. Unlocked successfully. FYI. Some people complain about a two step pricing structure. One price to verify if your phone qualifies. If so then a second charge to unlock the phone. This was not any tricky scam on their part. The pricing schedule is indeed disclosed upfront. So no worries folks. Totally satisfied with them at least for my S24.

I used this service to unlock my iPhone SE from docomo, as no other services were offering unlocks for them. The process was very simple, all I had to do was input the IMEI of my iPhone. They did exactly what they promised without any issues, and my phone was unlocked faster than I expected (less than a week!). Docomo is known to be a difficult carrier to work with when unlocking, but they were able to unlock it remotely without me needing to do anything!

When I submitted the unlock request using my phone's imei number, Direct Unlock was able to view the carrier it was locked for. I was excited when I found this website to help unlock my daughter's phone for a new provider. I wasn't so excited when I thought I had paid for the service and then was required to pay even more to actually get it unlocked. Then the timer said it has 23 hours left but it was actually a fee days before I received the unlock code. Customer service answered my questions quickly tho and the code did work.

They answered quickly but still was unclear on the timing of completion.
