I work in a plastic injection company as a maintenance technician. One of my most important interventions is to perform preliminary maintenance on the machine as well as repair all faults completely. I have previously worked in the field of agriculture and farming.

I have never been a member of a volunteer association, but through my experience with some people I participated with in environmental volunteering and elderly care. It was a short period, but I liked it and I want to have a greater experience and develop myself and make volunteering something essential in my life.

Update: the company responded to my review by immediately placing blame on me, and ignoring the several emails I have sent them over the course of a year and a half. They want me to delete the review or change it to 5 so they can get more people to fall for their scam. Please do not donate to this company, donate to your local community that you can validate with your own eyes and in person. They need it more than whatever this website is doing with your hard earned money. This is my advice to you when dealing with this company, please be safe. Look at the image I attached. The name in the message doesn't even match the name on the account.

I repeatedly reached out to them multiple times to stop charging me. I never even signed up for the donations, I had to call paypal to get involved and they said this place had been charging me through paypal as a guest account and that is why I could not find it to stop it on my side. They had to go through several additional steps to get ElderHelpers (more like ScamHelpers) to stop charging me. I reported them to PayPal and I am reporting them to the FBI https://www.ic3.gov/

I actually like to dea with pleasure Elders, because i have strong power and much tenderness toward elders, most of then lived rich life and we can learn alot from then and share then thoughts and good and fantastic timr, i am patient and have quite mood to listening to them.

I signed up to be an elderhelper.
You take my money every month & that's ALL, I try to call the ph. Number
& NO ANSWER EVER. I email same NO RESPONSE. I want to cancel this

I signed my dad up today and after looking at the reviews I'm afraid I may have gotten him involved a scam. There was never a code given after I paid the 50 dollars so I immediately sent a cancelation request but I'm afraid they will bill him continuously like the people in the reviews. I may just have to cancel the card...this is horrible.

I signed up for a month and was able to find a helpful volunteer after only 4 phone calls! Everything started out well & I was thankful for this service. Down the road, however, the helper did a few things that were deemed inappropriate, such as removing a painting from the wall, with who knows what intention since he was stopped in his tracks, and "permanently borrowing" a book without permission. He had a history of mental problems for which he had been hospitalized per his own admission.

I believe that helpers should be more thoroughly vetted by ElderHelpers, and those who utilize their services should know that they do so at their own risk. What started out as a most promising experience turned out to be very disappointing in the end.

My husband signed up on 11/21. Our "donation" was withdrawn right away. Understandably, due to the holiday, we expected a delay. However, it took two weeks to get a response. All we needed was a code to be able to contact a volunteer. Instead, we kept getting the same email requesting a sign up and donation. When he finally received the code, he made 9 phone calls. The only two numbers that answered had moved out of the area. The other numbers were either no longer working, so a message was left. No one has responded 24 hours later. The latest from elder helpers is another request for our zip code? Don't you have our registration? Ridiculous.

I signed up to get help for my 90 + year old in-laws. Not really impressed. Many of the volunteers I called either never returned my calls or stated they were no longer involved with this organization. I am not paying $50 a month for nothing! They also tell you that it is the client's responsibility to report wrong or disconnected numbers. Really? Then what am I paying for? If they had a better business model they would at least keep their database updated and regularly check in with both the client's and volunteers. I can't recommend this organization for my area in South King County Washington state.
