They are legit, just ridiculously slow in shipping. I waited 1.5 months for my "rush" order. It was shipped out in multiple pacakges and arrived at different times.

Depends on definition of scam, the same as definition of Con jobs... They lure you in with statements like ships within 3-5 days from receiving payment. But actually they do not ship until 3-4 weeks after they get their money. So their scam is They have your money interest free, while they are making money on it, for 3-4 weeks. Also, I paid their extra shipping fee to get it a bit faster, but they still ship the slowest they can, so in addition to the interest from the use of my money, I paid for the shipping when they claim it is Free. For example they got paid December 9th, they claim that they shipped it the 26th, However their tracking number shows that the shipping company still has not received the package. It seems like they have been using my money to pay their previously shipped goods, and then they wait for another sucker to pay for my product and ship it and so on.

It is legit, just wait. It can take up to 2 months or so. Don't worry. When you order from GearBest just make sure you have patience, it will eventually arrive. If it fails, check the FAQ for the maximum waiting time, they will refund or resend your item. No problem. Don't worry, everything will be fine!

No, definetely it's not a scam site. You order from china via free shipping, it takes up to 25 buisness days. Be patient.

I have made 3 orders and they all came in. It says right on the shipping that it can take about 24 business days. You also have to think that we had holidays which will halt mail services as well as the face that since it is being imported it has to go through customs which can take some time as well.

It is definitely not a scam site. But they are from China and that is really far, far away. Be patient. :)

They refunded me rather quickly. I do "think" they are not reliable. It is a China based business that has awful customer service.

Definitely not a scam site. As far as the shipping speed, the free shipping method definitely takes long time, but you can probably get the cheapest stuff you can find. And therefore, if you really want to order something in a hurry, it can be too risky to order from them in terms of shipping time. Otherwise, Gearbest is one of the best international gadget/RC/flashlight websites. So, the bottom line is, don't treat Gearbest as Amazon.
