on 10/9/17I'm definitely in. There's something very deceptive, if not illegal, when you start off on a hotel's website and when you click Make a Reservation, it somehow transfers you to the GetARoom site without your knowledge. I had no idea this was done until I received their email confirmation. I'm thinking of contacting my state's Consumer Protection Div. Of the AG's Office to file a complaint when I get back from vacation.
Yes I am! This has been a nightmare and so frustrating! This is not okay!
I am in... quoted $179. Charged same day $261.42. This was from a Wyndham site. The pop up on their site said "special... book now, " I pressed the Book Now right while I was on Wyndhams site. I couldn't believe I was charged when the site gave 24 hour notice for date change. I was a month ahead!
The customer # was a boiler room. Got 5 different reps... not from Texas. Their billing is CCI Res.*
Pissed beyond belief!
I'm in - they pretended to be the hotel, didn't mention that they would automatically charge me the full amount at the time of booking. Never sent a confirmation receipt. When I finally - and I do mean finally - reached someone they said they couldn't provide a detailed receipt for my stay, room rate, tax etc. Only after I told them I'd be reporting them to BBB and FTC did she give me the room rate and the absurd "tax and service charge"... a scam.
I am definitely in they scam me out of $586 and change. I thought I was talking to the hotel itself but somehow they intercepted the call. This company Needs to go away. Too many people are getting scammed!
I'm in. Will certainly be reporting this site to the Federal Trade Commission.
Definitely in. Had no idea I was biking from this site. Price $30 more than listed. Big scam

My mother was scammed by this "company." She will be contacting the Texas Better Business Bureau.
