on 3/7/15Hello, this is Nora from JJs house. We are gald that you are interested in our dresses. Normally it takes 15-18 days to prepare wedding dresses and 3-6 days for expedited shipping. We suggest that you can send us the item ID or link via service@jjshouse.com. We are more than willing to check the delivery time for you.
Dont DO it, JJs is a complete RIPOFF! Terrible service! I ordered my Mother of the bride dress, it did arrive within 7 days. It doesnt fit, it was indeed my size, but not a fit. I knew I had 7 days to return. I packaged it up the day I received it. I emailed the company and the response was 48 hours later. Requesting a picture of the dress on me... um, well ok. So I sent them a pic, yuk... it didnt fit. Another 48 hours went by, they said they didnt get the picture. I sent it again. This game went on for the lotted 7 days. Its unbelievable how I feel. Im extremely upset about this. On this 7th day, they have offered me 10% refund and I get to keep the dress... I dont WANT the dress! Or they offered 20% off on my next purchase. R They For Real? As if I or anyone else should ever order from this dispicable place!
I ordered a dress for my son's wedding, my only child. Ordered it on October 18th. It was shipped on October 25th according to them. Tracked it all the way - delivered to local courier on Oct 30, sent out from transit hub November 1st. Dress still hasn't arrived and no sign of it. I am now frantic. Communicating with them is a nightmare. No answers, no information, just stupid ticket submissions and automated replies. I have no idea which company is supposed to be delivering it and they won't tell me but are hunting that the courier has lost it and they have no responsibility. I'm extremely worried that I'll never see my (expensive) dress. The wedding is in 3 weeks now. I don't have money to buy another. Even if it arrives, I will never use them again because of the sheer stress involved.
Note that US sizing is very different to European and Australasian and Asian sizing. I would advise anyone planning to order to measure yourself carefully and then look up the appropriate conversion chart they provide. If the dress is loose around the hips, maybe prioritise the waist and bust measurements.
I do wonder if a lot of US customers (like my SIL) don't realise that the US system is very different to the rest of the world, and maybe just order their usual US size plus one for luck, expecting it to fit. E. g Based on measurements I ordered Aus/UK 8 which is equivalent to US size 4. I am a Aus/UK 6 in some brands - that would be a US 0 (too tiny). So there is big range. Take the measurements!
Also some people don't seem to realise that all dress orders (even if standard size) have to be made before being shipped so you need to add the shipping time (e. G 6 - 8 business days) to the dressmaking time (e.g. 12- 15 days). 'Business days' typically don't include weekends or public holidays. My order sat in Hong Kong for 6 days over Easter.
Furthermore, the website clearly states that because all dresses are made to order, they don't support 'order five, purchase one" type shopping behaviour and won't refund extras ordered with no intention of purchase.
I am sure the terrible experiences of many are totally valid - but also some disappointment could be avoided if people read the website more carefully.
I ordered a dress for my 4 year old grand daughter. Its the ballgown floor length flower girl dress. I ordered it on a Sunday and it came exactly as promised. It came a week later.
The dress is beautiful. The color and the dress details are exactly as described and the size is just as the measurements say
DHL kept me informed via tracking as to the location of the package
I do not understand all the negative reviews I highly recommend them and will purchase from them again
