The dress came on time and I gave them the correct measurements, but unfortunately it was a little too big. The customer service was amazing though. I got the dress for my sophomore prom and thankfully I have two more proms that will hopefully go well and I will be ordering again from this website. :)
Lulus used to be great and easy to buy from. I've literally been buying from them for 7 years now... however, my most recent experiences have been enough to make me never want to buy from there again. First of all, 90% of their items are CHEAP quality and are priced highly expensive. And it's only gotten worse over the years. Most of their casual clothing alone is priced between $50 - $90. Casual clothing! I'm talking about literally a tee shirt you can find at Target for $15. Two expensive dresses I bought from them, one was casual and one was formal; both of them ripped and fell apart on the first wear. You think you're getting good quality items based on the price, but you're not. I've seriously bought better quality clothing off of Amazon before. But, the thing that has recently turned me against them is their ridiculous return policy. First of all. Lulus sizing is constantly off. It's never been consistent for as long as I've been ordering from them. But, I am also someone who is in-between sizes. So I usually have to purchase an item in different sizes to see which one fits better. Which means that I end up returning the sizes that don't fit. However, Lulus now has a policy where if you return over a certain amount of money/certain amount of your orders within 6 months to a year, they will put your account on a "modified return policy". They are also supposed to warn you and inform you if they're going to do this to your account. They did NOT warn me, nor did they inform me that they did this to my account. I only found out that my account was placed on this policy because when I tried to return an item, it told me I could only receive store credit for it and that my account is also subject to being blocked from ordering from them anymore. When I complained about this, they told me that it should've been clear upon checkout, and that I should have seen it there. But nope! I checked out like I always have and everything was exactly as it always is. So let me see if I understand this correctly... they price all their items at unreasonably high amounts, their sizing inconsistently varies, and yet they expect you to get your size correct and expect you to like everything you order or else your account gets penalized for returning items back too much. How is this fair to people who fluctuate in sizing and are not always consistent in clothing? Do they expect all of their customers to look like the models on their website? Do they expect people to like how every single thing looks on them? Maybe if the items were actually worth their prices, people wouldn't have to return so much. I mean really... who wants to pay hundreds of dollars for clothing that's not even gonna last long? It's just very unfair. This is an ONLINE clothing store. It's not like customers can just come in and try on clothes to see if they fit. I have never experienced a store (online or an in-person) that has a policy like that. People should be able to purchase and return as much as they want without getting penalized. They clearly implemented this policy because they just care about how much money they're losing from returns. Oh and one more thing. They recently started charging restocking fees on every return. Most retail stores only charge restocking fees if you return an item that's damaged or has visibly been worn. Well now at Lulus, even if the tags are intact and it hasn't been worn or even opened, they will still charge you a restocking fee. And yes, I confirmed that with a customer service rep. She said it's a new fee that they are charging on any returns. Like really... Anything else y'all want to do to prevent customers from getting their money back? I will no longer be purchasing from here. I can't continue to buy from a place that doesn't value their customers. No customer should ever be penalized for needing to return items that don't fit them or that they don't like. I have loved Lulus for a very long time but, they have completely lost my loyalty. Time for me to find a new and better place to shop. I hope this helps to warn other customers.

I ordered a wedding dress and bridesmaid dress. The dress is custom made and they did a beautiful job. Shipping and handling took exactly how long they said it would. I am very pleased to have done business with them!
The dresses are very well made; they thought of everything including built in bra is some cases. The try-on feature is an excellent idea; specially, their size do run small, so Do pay attention to the size chart even if it doesn't seem right according to you normal size.
I love all of the items I have bought from Lulus. I was unsure about what kind of quality I would receive as well as if the items looked like they did on the site but they absolutely do. They have such a beautiful array of dresses and the quality is very good for the price. I ended up ordering two more times after I received the first item and fell in love with it.

Save your money and a headache, this store is a scam. I order a purple, xs size dress and I paid for the 2 day delivery and they sent me a pink, Small size dress the cheapest quality and when I emailed them to ask to exchange for the correct dress they said they can't do it and that is what I ordered when I know exactly why I ordered. Worse experience ever. Now I have to go buy another dress because they won't even exchange it for the correct dress.
The shipping was fast, the dressed fits very well and good quality fabric. The try on service is very convenient.

I wish I had better things to say about Lulus. I bought some business casual pants on sale, and while they are definitely super cute, they're clearly made out of cheap materials. Of the three pairs I ordered, one's zipper broke immediately, and another has a giant tear in the pocket. Haven't checked the third pair but there's likely something wrong with them too. I think if you're going to go for fast fashion, you might as well go to one of the super cheap places, because honestly the quality is nearly worse.

I bought 5 items, wasted $150+ and could not get a refund on any! Cannot reach customer service on chat, text, or phone call - all robots that don't connect you. Call literally hangs up after a minute of wait time. They stop you from responding on the chat by blocking your area to type. They charge your phone carrier a fee to text.
All items came super cheap - shoes looked like they had glue coming out all seems. Ordered a small dress, it was XL with a S label sewed in.
Will never purchase again. Terrible experience.

I don't order online much as I've had things come months late and the fit be so unflattering once received but, if you're debating ordering from this site I'll be the one to tell you DO IT. I can't say enough good things about it. I just got a dress from Lulus that I'll be wearing to my graduation and the quality is just mint. I measured myself extremely carefully thinking that it would fit me either slightly too big or small but the size of the dress is exactly as advertised. It also came unbelievably fast, I've never been this satisfied with an online purchase before. A++
If you need an outfit or article of clothing for a special occasion, look elsewhere.
The shipping takes forever!
The website said it ships in 1-2 days,
So you'd assume 3-4 days after that to get to you. Nope! It's over 2 weeks! Ridiculous in today's online shopping world. When you track your shipping the graph just sits on the same location for days and days while you're trying to figure out what else you can wear for a holiday event once you realize your entire plan is blown by their freakishly sluggish shipping.

I only spent $500 on some dresses for a birthday gift so not a huge customer, but they refused to allow returns of the ones that didn't fit because it past the 30 days allowed. Guess I should've waited until the day before her birthday to order them.

Not only does this site prove great quality purchase after purchase, but they are also stepping up their game recently with a "Wedding Guest" attire tab. They have mapped out exactly what dresses to wear for outside or inside weddings, all without upstaging the bride. I have shopped from Lulu's many times in the past, and also rely on them for a new spring or summer wardrobe, but with the first wedding I've ever attending coming up in October, I was thrilled to find that Lulu's exceeded my expectations yet again.
I have made numerous purchases, mostly shoes and dresses, from Lulu's over the years and have had a consistently good experience with them. They have very cute styles, their prices tend to be exceptionally good, and every order I've ever placed has shipped within a day, sometimes even the same day I placed it. I've only ever needed to make one return, and the process was easy and my refund was applied quite quickly after they received the return.

I love the marigold wrap maxi dress. Fits beautifully, fabric is nice. Can't wait to wear it for family photos this summer.
Customer service on the chat feature was great. My order had shipped but I didn't receive notice so they helped me track it down.
Honestly, I had originally come here to complain about Lulu's return policy. But a quick email to customer service fixed everything. They were so unbelievably helpful and went out of their way to fix the issues with my order.
If you have an issue with them, please contact them first before assuming that all hope is lost. It's a great company and I won't hesitate to shop there again and again!
Purchased two separate times from Lulus for weddings we attended this year. Each time was quick and painless. Found that sizes are true to size for myself, but, of course, everyone is different so reading the reviews and seeing pictures of the clothes on "real" people (not models) is very helpful. Would highly recommend purchasing from Lulus.com!
This is my new fav store to shop at. I love everything I have ordered from this site. Customer service is wonderful and helpful. They don't get upset when you try to return something, like other places do (Yandy). They provide return shipping labels, so returning is easy! The quality of the clothes is good. I'm very petite, and the xs size fits me perfectly. They also send me 15% off after every order. If I had to say one bad thing about the store, is that some items are overpriced. I still love it though. I'm waiting on 2 orders right now. I love LULUS!
One purse was stained with a yellow glue looking substance and the strap on the other broke after the first use. Both purses are really nice and I would purchase from here again, just disappointed what I got had flaws like this.

I purchased a dress for my daughter's eighth-grade dance. She tried on several styles and all we're true to fit. Free returns was a fantastic deal. I would definitely look to Lulu's again for future occasions.
I followed the instructions from their website on the return. I mailed the item within the 10 day time frame and it's 10 days later from the time I shipped the item and still have not heard an update on if they received it and when my refund is coming. I cannot get someone to answer on the customer service line after multiple calls ( three of which I was disconnected from after holding for over twenty minutes.) Live chat does not work either. Very disappointing bc I have bought items in the past and liked them. If you need to return anything expect weeks before getting your refund.
Update: customer service contacted me after writing the review and were very professional. They processed my refund and explained that they were behind on the returns. They refund still took another 4 days to be received in my account. (I still think it was longer than I'd want to receive a refund so hopefully this changes for the company). They apologized and gave me a 15 dollar credit.
While the site offers nice and different items, I'm now having difficulty fixing their problem. When i ordered a belt called 'Golden Yellow' I received a pastel off yellow color belt that was hideous. I sent back the order (By the way, free shipping for returns only lasts a few days unlike the similar site ModCloth that gives you 30 days) and three weeks later I'm still waiting to receive the funds. I've tried to call them within their business hours five business days in a row with no answer, and now I'm sitting here with the live chat window open waiting for "an operator to be with me shortly" just as I have been for the past two hours. It just shouldn't be this hard to correct their mistake.
If you live in Canada expect to pay duty when they ship via DHL. Added 25% to the cost. That's bull. Get should figure out how to do business in Canada and use proper trade agreements, or at minimum include these fees in the price and take care of the duties in advance. Total crap.
