I would like to place an order, but with all the negative reviews... I'm skeptical. How do I know the item ordered is legit? And because it is a multifaceted order, meaning there are five names that must be engraved, how do I proof read them. It takes me directly to the check out without ever reviewing what I ordered and doesn't even list description of the item. Help

Do the intelligent thing and do NOT place an order. There are so many other places where you can place orders, why give yourself this heartache? I do not understand how this website is still in operation and how many complaints there have to be before action is taken to shut it down. If they were offering items free of charge, I still would not order! "Once bitten... twice shy" Need I say more?

Ailine: I never ordered from Open Sky but I TRIED to. I was interested in a suede bag and so I emailed the vendor and low and behold, they didn't even know what site I was on! In other words, they advertise on multiple sites and didn't even know the prices they were charging on what sites! Not only that, but during the couple of days I was considering the item, the price changed, on OPEN SKY 3 times. I decided to heck with that. If I really wanted the item, I could order it from the vendor themselves, which I never did. I sell on ebay, they are reliable. Or Amazon, either one is great.

My advice, and this is just from my experience would be not to order from open sky. There are too many vendors and it seems unsupervised. I had a horrible experience with ordering and returning to get credit and NEVER would use them again. In your case of needing items engraved I would certainly caution you against it as it sounds like you can't control what is ordered and if the wrong thing arrives you have no recourse as far as refund. I vote no.

I made the mistake of ordering from Opensky and I will NEVER order from them again. It too more than three weeks to get one order and more than 40 days to get the other.

Run away fast! Negative comments mean just that! This place is a nightmare you do not need.

Like all the others, don't bother as it will most likely cause you undue stress. There is another site with very cute jewelry and does engrave called Eve's Addiction. Check it out. I had a good experience with them.

I agree with other commenters. It just isn't worth the time. I will say though that when things go awry, I have managed to get their attention and get my money back. But that really isn't saying much is it? Guess it depends on how much disappointment and followup you can deal with.
