Why cant i make phone calls now, it was working fine yesterday when I got my sim card and today imy calls will not go thru

Try taking your sim card out and reinserting it and try your phone again after you power it off and back on. Of course you should power it off before you take the sim card out. Sometimes I just one drop can dislodge the SIM card from its position which will keep the phone from connecting. I would try that first, it is usually the simple solution in most things.
