on 2/5/20When I was on Marriott's website (marriott.com) I selected option to make a reservation. I made reservation (still on marriott.com). Confirmation came from Reservation Counter, which was the first indication that they were involved. In fact, it's the first time I ever heard that they existed. Crooks is a little mild to describe them.
It was the phone number that came up when we Googled hotels with pools in Rock Hill, SC. We did not realize we were choosing a booking service.
I was calling the hotel company reservation line and for some reason was rerouted to the Reservation Counter number. I wanted to contact the hotel company directly.
Typed in the hotel name click the hotel logo and thought I booked with hotel but it's this fraudulent company
They put a website of the hotel up, thought it was actual hotel
I thought I was contacting the hotel. When I googled the hotel this company came up.
I thought I was calling the hotel direct but ended up with these crooks
I popped up when I googled the Hotel property. They appear to be a part of reservations.
