IF, you even get the things you order... they are cheap sweat shop copies of the pictures and the sizing is totally inconsistent. Some things a large is too small, others a medium is way too big. One shirt ordered had tiny sleeves that were too tight and one was bigger than theother, and is was a completely different material than the picture. A pair of shoes I ordered were on back order, and they said they would cedit me and Never did.

NO! I wish I'd checked reviews before ordering from sammydress.com. It ALL comes from China and if you have a problem with your order, like you want to send it back, YOU have to pay for shipping to CHINA! They are a nightmare to deal with, although I will say I'm supposed to be getting a full refund, so we'll see. I keep giving them bad reviews everywhere and they are trying to work with me. Some people don't get their order, some say their cc was charged for other things, some say they received the wrong item, some say only half their order was shipped, some say the clothes run small. If you have any common sense at all, do not order from this company after reading all these horrible reviews! Wish I had before I ordered!

No. I bought something & it took just under a month to arrive. Once it arrived it was in a childrens size. I tried & tried to contact them by email & phone, getting nothing but the run around for over 2 mos. Once I posted the negative review here they refunded me. That was in early Feb. I placed my initial order on Dec 5th. It took ALOT of work to get a refund and if Im being honest I WOULD NEVER DO IT AGAIN.

If the reviews on this site and the answers above don't make you think twice about buying anything off their website then I don't know what will! I spent $280aud and returned all of it and still have not received a refund, the quality was atrocious and all garnets were extremely see through... Don't bother, you'll kick yourself for it later if you do!

Absolutely not. I would never recommend this site for anyone to use. On top of not getting your order completely, or whenever THEY decide to ship it to you, it wont be as it shows. Its made with the worst quality. It starts to come apart after a couple wears. And the sizing is SO off. You'll order your actual size on the site and if it comes I should say it will probably be smaller. They don't refund you. They give you a "store credit". They wont reship your order either. If it doesn't arrive they basically say tough.

I want to believe that there is some sort of language barrier between the site and the people who contact you if you have an issue.
However, I've never received my first order, got tons of site crsite for it, but the credit is only g good to use in small doses. They cap the amount you can use on your orders.
My second order was an xl men's jacket.
Which my 13 year old daughter wears. To give you any indication of sizing.
I really don't believe I will be shopping with them ever again. There's just too much hassle and not a very good customer service end of things.

I had the absolute worst experience with them! Not just them but also modilly and the other websites that advertise cheap prices and shipped from China! I believe they are all one fulfillment center under different names. Twice I received merchandise that was unfinished look nothing like the picture one item look like a costume for Halloween and it cost more to ship the merchandise back for a return then what I paid pay for the merchandise. Plus it took almost six weeks even though I paid for expedited shipping buyer beware

Pretty bad company. I would call it scandalous. I order from them and never received merchandise. They kept telling me to wait another month. Then I demanded my money back. They then offered me 50% refund and I laughed at them. They then offered a refund but not for the postage. I finally disputed the amount on my credit card. Visa then put the entire amount back on my card. I personally would not give them a dime of business.

Even with all the very strong "No" answers you got here, it isn't "NO" enough.
Worst "clothes" I've ever seen! They're only vaguely human shaped. They aren't even good as rags; rags are made from fabric - this stuff is like woven paper. Takes forever to arrive, they constrict basic movement and split when you do move, even slightly. I am NOT exaggerating!

Getting a refund is impossible as you would have to return the items to CHINA and that is expensive plus you will never get anyone to sign for the package to prove they got it. Everyone has different options about this site but I do not advise you to use this site. I'm on the 3 month waiting to receive my daughters prom dress. O course she won't be able to wear the perfect dress for prom. If you want a trusted site try Wish. Low prices not long on shipping. I love shopping on wish! If u want to use Sammy dress then just beware for a very long wait and refund is a joke. So to answer your question No I do not think its a respectable company! I have received a refund from them, therefore it is possible. They are trying to get and do better. It is a real site with real clothes. Prices are great and quality is not high, although acceptable. You get what you pay for. Have patience, because it could take some time to get to you. If you don't mind waiting I would say buy something simple, check it out, see what you get. Then if you want to place a larger order, go for it.

I don't know if you look at buzzfeed, but they did some sort of study/research about how many of these companies are part of a scam run by a wealthy Chinese group that is just out to take advantage of customers. So, no this is not a respectable site.

HELL NO... Please pay attention 2 these reviews! Fake Company. You will not get the picture you pick. If you buy it & try to return the item you will not get a refund. So if you have a clothing store in your town called Rainbow then so should just shop there because this site is worse. Whom ever is making the items are not good tailors.

I placed an order on 2-5-16 and paid for expedited shipping. I received the 4 least expensive items on 2-20-16 and still haven't received the remaining 6 which were, supposedly, shipped on 2-27-2016. When I contacted them they referred me to the shipping company who referred me to another shipping company. When I contacted them back asking for at least a refund of the expedited shipping I paid for since they hadn't met their own delivery times even for the first half they shipped they told me I needed to get that from the shipping company. When I disputed the charge because I was almost out of time to dispute it with my card, they sent the delivery receipt for the first half of the shipment and said they had delivered my order. When I pushed them for the refund on the shipping again they offered to refund $14, I had paid $30, because the first half arrived, albeit not in the 3-7 business days promised. STAY AWAY! There have been articles circulating about how horrid they are. Also stay away from dresslily and other sites that they operate.

Complained about the quality of the clothes and was told to send the clothes back at MY EXPENSE FOR A PARTIAL REFUND... Prior to this on March 3 2016was promised a full refund by SAMMYDRESS because of my constant problems with them.
The area code 909 number you will never get an answer. I called for days and left countless messages that went unanswered. If you look at the site they give the 909 area code as being in Rancho Cucamonga. They are not located in Rancho Cucamonga at all. The time zone they give for their phone number is I think 9-5 GMT+8. Whatever that means.
I got a credit back on my debit card from my bank. Told them I feel they are a fraudulent company and I do. They're misrepresentation is apparent in advertising.
They have adorable LOOKING clothes but that's about it.
I normally wear a size 12. Went by their size chart and the size 12 is more like a size 8. The material is cheap, snagged, tissue paper thin. Everything I ordered will be donated.
For those that have not received their merchandise or are unsatisfied write an unfavorable review about them. They don't like that. Helps to put a little fire under their lying butt.
If you do respond to them,, DO Not close out your ticket until the problem has been resolved. Once you close the ticket, it's done.
Anyone thinking of ordering from SAMMYDRESS I urge you, please don't do it. You will definitely be sorry. Like I said you're sucked in by adorable clothes but that's not what you get.

Yes. For me it has been one of the best experiences. They notify me in an email when they mail out the orders. They specify which items are included in the package and what will be mailed separately ( in case if there are multiple things ordered the same time). The wait time is prolonged but not longer than what I think is acceptable for something mailed from China. I received my orders in 2-8 weeks. So far I had 19 orders and all of them arrived. Honestly, I see those bad reviews and have no idea what they're talking about. For me so far so good!

Absolutely not in my experience. The product either takes 2 months to show up just to be what you didnt order or not at all. It all gets shipped from China to some middleman in California and then, if your lucky, to you. Most who are disappointed dont go through the trouble of sending it back to China after signing for it because they dont want to lose twice and shipping back and just cut their losses. Its a roll of the dice but the percentage of unhappy people far out weight the happy ones. Do your homework.

They are not reliable company. I placed an order in January. Still have not received it. Go to the BBB site Better Business Bureau. There are over 300 complaints. Please be careful dealing with this company

I would not recommend you order from them. Although I did finally get my order, it was a real hassle! If you do, order at least 2 sizes bigger than you wear normally and only order one item at a time. Also, be sure you spend the extra dollar or two and get the insurance. Good luck!

At first I would have said no but after some time and a lot of persuasion I was able to get a credit back for a defective purse so after all they helped me out so I would say yes they are respectable.

I would caution against it. I lost my money that I paid for a dress that I never received and never was able to resolve anything with them. There's a reason they are so cheap: I believe it's because they charge you for shipping and then you never get the item.

I only ordered once from them and although I did have an item I needed to exchange they worked with me on a compromise with which I was satisfied. Yes, on returns YOU must pay the shipping cost which is why we compromised instead--I kept my original item and just paid a bit more for the replacement item which took care of the shipping cost. Communication back and forth requires some patience but that is because they are all the way out in China and an entirely different time zone. The watch I ordered was not expensive, but when it arrived it looked true to it's photo. And the dress I ordered did just barely fit me even though I ordered a size up, but I am definitely not an Asian size and their clothing is sized for Asians after all. I ordered without reading all these reviews, and am disheartened by reading how bad most of them are, but can honestly say I am satisfied with my purchase, didn't wait too long for it, and nobody paid me to give a good review. For me, at least, their customer service tried to please; it may have taken awhile and involved some misunderstanding on both parts due to some inadvertent miscommunication, but in the end everything worked out satisfactorily, and that's all I can say about my personal experience with Sammydress. I may shop again, as they have some unique items at prices I can afford.

Absolutely not. Just another scam. Too good to be true. Extremely low quality goods and non existent customer service. Spend your money here at home, you at least have some recourse in the US. It's not just Sammy, there are a number of names that are the same company. Anything in Beijing is at the very least worth researching online.

I haven't had an issue, in my experience in dealing with Sammy Dress. All of my concerns have been addressed and there has only been one instance where I never received a tee. My suggestion is to purchase with PayPal and order tops at least 3 sizes up. Also, expect to wait for some merchandise 1-2 months. Everyone's experience will vary, so this is from my experience.

So far I haf no problems with them! Items was received within the time they said, liked everything I brought down to the handbag, they didn't have the sandals I wanted but they refunded my money back to my credit card. I hear all the complaints but so far I have none and ordered more than two times.And No they didn't pay me to say this:-)

My item took about three weeks longer than expected to arrive but the quality was fantastic and the price was unbelievably low. I paid with PayPal and when it didn't arrive at first I opened a claim. I got the item before the claim time so the claim automatically closed. I also received good communication from the site.
