I see a pair of boots i want on this site. but i am very skeptical because of all of the bad reviews. what does the company have to say about this?

Answer:

Don't buy from Shoes.com, is not the same company, I used to buy from shoe buy. Com and they were very professional and no restocking fee, this company is a joke

Im going to presentation in the whole class about shoebuy, can you tell me something unique about shoebuy?

Answer:

Yes - customer service is abysmal, and Shoebuy is the reason I will probably never again buy shoes online. They would not accept a return on some expensive hiking boots (fit was poor on me, and they had a defect). It turns out their return policy is very, very restrictive. I bought a different pair at a local brick and mortar merchant, where I could try them on, and who had a liberal return policy. This was more expensive, but I didn't waste money on shoes that I couldn't wear. Buying at a local store will be the route I go in the future. Learned the hard way that great online deals aren't always what they're cracked up to be.

I bought a pair of boots that didn't work out. so i called and exchanged them for a different style. person said i would receive return label to send original pair back. didn't receive. called 2 more times. still no label. each person says the same thing. sounds really scripted. has anyone successfully gotten a return label? should i just pay shipping and send the item, hope they get it and pray for the refund? i'm pretty sure the shoes were knockoffs or factory seconds. they had differences from what was shown in the picture.

Answer:

Stay away! I tried to make an exchange, and they charged me for the new shoes and then claimed that returned shoes were worn and damaged and wouldn't give me my money back. I wore them long enough to try them on and even then the shoes were so small and stiff that I couldn't get my feet into them! I asked the customer service "manager" (the 4th "manager" I spoke to) if we are allowed to try on the shoes and shes said "yes of course" to which I said then why do you consider what I did wearing them? She didn't have an answer. This is a scam to sell off damaged or defective merchandise. Stay away.

I ordered 3 pairs over a week ago never received a confirmation, merchandise, however my creditcard was charged, need a phone number?

Beth, the same happened to me. I ordered two pairs over a week ago and have not received any acknowledgment. I have written to them twice and havent received a reply. I am trying to find the phone number too but have not found one. If you do, can you please share? Thanks

What did you guys do to get your return labels?

Answer:

Initiated the return n their website, it generated them. Be sure to thoroughly DUST and remove any possible dirt or they will say they were worn and will not accept return!
