Vital Chek states my order was completed but dept of health said it was rejected

When accepting orders VitalChek does not inform you that they cannot obtain older records, 20 years for deaths, 75 years for births. Thus you are waiting for a month for the process to fail while they hold your money, and then you have to spend many hours on the phone finding out what the problem was. Hold times on the phone are typically 30 minutes for each call and that adds up when you have to try multiple departments. I spent over 2 hours trying to get answers and the first suggestion was not even valid. VitalChek is one step above a total scam and should not be handling government business. All government department phones are forwarded to VitalChek so you have to trouble shoot the failed process. DISGUSTING.

I had to do a mail in request directly from the county website to the county records P.O. Box address. VitalChek provided the info as part of my 2 hour trouble shooting process with them.
