on 8/18/16I just listed the following for another person... They are flash selling vendors merchandise and don't stock items in their warehouse. So, the idea is no returns. But they want happy customers. Call them if you are unhappy with an item politely and ask if you can return. In my experience, if it is an expensive item, like a leather handbag, they have let me return. If say $20 or under, they say donate it and refunded my money or given me a store credit. If damaged or poor quality, they have in addition tacked on a $5-10 Zulily credit for the trouble. Call them and see what they will do for you. I have gotten great deals from them and am happy.
Though it is tru... remember, you get more bees with hone. Call them and let them know how you love their prices and service and you wish tthere was SOMETHING that can be done. Many times they have given me credit back and just asked me to pay it forward and donate the clothes to some place that can use them Not guaranteeing it, but worth a shot.
I'm sorry that you are being put off by hearing negative things about our return policy however in every description of our products we mention the return policy for that particular item. Please understand that Zulily will do all we can to address every issue our customers have however we also must note that our vendors have return policies along with ours that we must follow.
When items ordered were from a quality vendor - great. Clothing however was almost always less than what you'd see in the product picture and terribly made. I think there are a whole bunch of cheesy companies probably in China that crank out knockoffs of what looks like a nice dress and the consumer is left with something almost unwearable.
I'd complain and complain and dispute it on your credit card. If you used PayPal they may be able to help you. I would never purchase clothes from them unless I knew the brand and how it fits me. I do purchase clothes for my Granddaughter, erring on the size of larger so I know she will grow into them.
My experience was not good at all. Bought the correct size Toms (a popular
Company/shoes) and they DID NOT fit my daughter. NO where on their website does it allow for returns or exchanges so I tried to email them three times to explain all I wanted to do is exchange them for a bigger size. I figured I would still cover the shipping... They NEVER replied to my emails. Not even a generic standard email reply. So I decided to look at reviews and then I learned about returns. Oh and I wanted to call them, try finding
A phone# to do that... good luck to you. I lost $39 and have a pair of shoes
No one wants in my house.
I've only had one discrepancy in the past and I was not asked to return the item, however, I was given a credit.
I'm been refunded for plenty of items from clothing to handbags all Zulily asks is you take pictures and email them proof that bag or clothing is not correct and they issue a refund and since they're the middle man, they don't even want you to return the purchased item. The only time I've ever had to return one item from hundreds of refunds from Zulily was a Timbuk2 messenger bag.
You are correct, returning items is not an option. But, if you call customer service or better yet message them, they are more than willing to help, either give you another item, or credit for item you have. They only ask that you donate your item so some one else can enjoy. Hope this helps
I always just fill out the email form, with order number and issue. Once I was asked to send a picture. I have had so many good experiences that it outweighs the bad ones. I did just have them send the wrong size of something and they don't have any left so I was sad not get that item, but they credited full amount so all is well.
Yes, it is true. I donated the items I also could not use. Do not like this company.
