Ordered a 55 inch Samsung TV 3 days ago from these guys. The TV arrived today by expedited shipping from ups. Everything worked out perfectly. With price and fast delivery I'm completely satisfied. As promised a 5 star review for them!
A of M are a classic bait and switch sales operation. Buyer beware. Stick with industry leaders like B&H.
This place used to be good 10 years ago but now it seems the are just SCAMMERS. I compared prices and did research for a month before buying a 4k tv and went to their site multiple times because I bought there before. After 30 days or so I decided to go all in and buy a top of the line 4k. I ordered it Friday night and waited for a shipping confirmation. 2 days later I got an email stating call Jeff to confirm order so I called immediately. Well Jeff the SCAMMER told me my TV was an oversized box and I needed to pay $288 extra for insurance? There goes their FREE SHIPPING claim that they use to draw you to their site. I told him absolutely not paying it. That didn't even seem to phase him? He just moved on to tell me the model I bought was discontinued and he could sell me the latest model for the same price. What this FOOL didn't know was I did my research and the model he was going to try and give me was GARBAGE and I could get it $500 cheaper elsewhere! THANKS BUT NO THANKS CLOWN. So I cancelled my order and called my credit card company immediately and warned them of these FRAUDS. My recommendation is STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!
Abe's of Maine does not stand behind the products they sell or their warranties.
I bought a Canon 5D Mark III Digital SLR and a 2-year warranty that was supposed to cover everything but malicious damage and losing the camera. The camera was used extensively around water, but was not dropped in the water. It started working poor, so we took it to an authorized dealer who said there was moisture inside and could not be fixed. I contact Abe's warranty company, New Leaf, and explained the camera was not dropped in the water but there is moisture damage. New Leaf said the camera was not covered, had I dropped in the water it would have been covered; but since I was truthful and explained it was used around water New Leaf would not honor the warranty.
I then contact Abe's of Maine and Lisa, the Customer Service Manager, said they would "make this right". After trying for several months for Abe's to cover the warranty and "make it right", Abe's offered to give me back what I paid for the warranty, I don't want the warranty payment back; that would be like paying car insurance and when you need the insurance they give you your premium back with no coverage. Wednesday, October 24, Abe's of Main offered to SELL me a camera at a discount. I don't want to buy another camera from Abe's, I want the camera replaced under the warranty.
I first contact New leaf and Abe's in July and four months later I am still trying to get Abe's to do the right thing and honor the warranty I purchased on the camera from them.
Ordered a Sony lens, then a day after I had a sales person call me and "up sale" me another package Dayi g the one I ordered didn't come with other things, so then I was forced to upgrade, later I went to read reviews and I noticed very fast that they have really bad reviews of people talking about this very thing and more, so when I was forced to "upgrade" my order he told me that shipping was going to take forever so he sold me a 2 day shipping for $49 so with that being said I was expecting my delivery 2days later on a Wednesday, so Wednesday came around and I saw no delivery yet so I called them and GUESS WHAT? Oh your package hasn't been shipped yet… SO I DEMANDED A REFUND IMMEDIATELY, she then tried telling me she would refund the shipping and overnight it to me for free ha ha ha no thanks but you can't refund my $2580.00 back now or I'll contact my bank! I got the refund finally! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND READING REVIEWS ABOUT THIS COMPANY! Go do it before you buy from here. They are a grey market operated company and also very rude! Shop elsewhere from well known companies not companies like this one for sure! YOUVE BEEN WARNED!
Tip for consumers:
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

I wasn't sure which camera I wanted to go with so I called and had a salesman walk me through the various products. Great service!
I have No idea how this company can sell Gray Market Cameras, I personally called Nikon USA and gave them my serial number. Abe's of Maine sell Gray Market items. So Nikon USA will not fix it.
I'm hoping the arrogance of the headline I wrote at the bottom will help someone who isn't sure. Half of the reviews here are one-star. That's real bad. And it looks like someone working for Abe's did the bundle of five star reviews all in the same month. I'm a 30-year pro and can't believe I actually ordered a grey-market D750 from these guys, today. How stupid can I be? Very stupid if I think I'm saving $700. Got the requisite after-hours phone call (that I was promised earlier in the day I would not receive) saying I ordered an import, which I clarified was a Grey Market body (no warranty). This guy actually said with a straight face that the camera's Menu and Display on the import version are not in the English language and cannot be programmed in English, but he would sell me one that does come in English for $400 more. I said he was lying, twice, and cancelled the order with no further discussion. I am also certain the camera that "speaks English" he offered for $2,000 and said was "USA warranty" is the same grey market camera listed for $1,550. I was willing to gamble and not have a warranty for the $1,550 price, I thought for exactly one day anyway (Store-offered warranties are worthless). The only way to get a NIKON USA warranty (the only one that will get your camera fixed) for a D750 is to pay the current $2,299 across-the-board price for this camera at a Nikon USA dealer. That's what I'm doing tomorrow. This whole experience made me feel angry at myself for being an idiot, and sad for the other 'customers' who were excited about ordering their new camera and then, on a daily basis, around the country, are getting these phone calls and lied to by professional liars. That's their job. To lie and con. To create alarm and panic. I understood right away what was going down. Unfortunately most don't have a clue. What got me to try them? Why, they have a website that makes you think they're a homespun ma and pa place that grew into a bigger deal because they're so darn special kids. Damnation. Just shoot me. (There's a little square checkbox below this asking if I want this business to see my review. If only I could do more).

A 24/7 full-time 30-year career pro says DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.
I ordered a Nikon Z7 with the FTZ online for $2800. A good deal. I get a call the next morning from the infamous Jeff and he starts the upsale. NO problems with that, but I think the only time this guy is not lying is when his mouth is shut.
Needless to say that the camera price increased a few hundred dollars when I received the receipt. Hmm. I asked about pricing and he stated that I ordered the "Retail Package". You know, the one that comes with the strap, eye piece, battery and instruction manual. Geez. I immediately stated that I wanted to cancel the order and I even sent an email 2 different times during the day to do so. Oh no, it had shipped already and that was before 1PM EST. Miraculously in 1 hr UPS had picked it up. That was just part of a chain of lies. UPS actually picked it up after 7PM EST.
UPS label arrives to me via email from Abes of Maine. Sent: Wednesday, June 19,2019 6:53 PM. Notice the time of the UPS Label creation - Label Created 06/19/*******:07 P.M.

To whom it may concern:@ Abes of Maine, what's a FACTORY FRESH IMPORT MODEL as stated on your website of your cameras description?
Oh wait I bought one of your FACTORY FRESH IMPORT MODELS from your company. Now when I was having issues, I called Nikon USA, they did not have my camera registered, which means, I was SOL if I need it fixed.
I guess that's why you push the extended warranty so hard.
I look closely at a few cameras on your website, the few I looked at said FACTORY FRESH IMPORT MODEL. I do remember when I bought my D610 from Adorama I received a US Warranty Card, but NOT FROM YOU! SO where do you buy your FACTORY FRESH IMPORT MODELS?
Well to help other Unsuspecting buyers I will paste what the definition is of IMPORT MODEL / GREY MARKET: from Google!
Import generally means grey market model without a USA warranty. It means the camera or lens did not come into the US via approved channels, but was probably shipped to another country where for some reason it failed to sell and then was sent via a non-approved distributor to the US. There's no way to know if it is even new unless you know and trust the retailer. Regardless, some manufactures will not warrant it in the US. Some won't service it even if you're willing to pay. If you're dealing with a less than honest retailer, you may not even get all the included accessories or owners manual.
Some grey market models come with what is called an International warranty. This means, if you need repair, you have to send it back to the country where it was originally designated or back to Japan.
Personally, I'd stay far away from grey market gear. IMO, a USA warranty is important, not to mention being able to get service after the warranty period.
So buyers beware, if you want a Nikon US Warranty buy from an authorized Nikon Dealer pay the extra for peace of mind
Delivered product fast and as promised. Great product, and great service.
This company provides the worst customer service ever. Watch for their return policy. BIG SCAM.
