My experience with Airbnb Luxe was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped into my luxurious villa, I was greeted with unparalleled comfort and elegance. Every detail, from the stunning architecture to the impeccable interior design, was thoughtfully curated to create a truly unforgettable experience. The amenities, from private pools to personal chefs, exceeded my expectations and made me feel like royalty. Moreover, the concierge service was exceptional, catering to my every need and ensuring a seamless stay from start to finish. Airbnb Luxe has redefined luxury travel for me, and I can't wait to indulge in another unforgettable experience.
Airbnb has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. No support when things go wrong. I didn't feel safe at a place I rented and check in or stay there. They will not refund the full amount. Was promised a $300 refund, then only give $200. The reservation costed $423. I will never book through them again! This has been a nightmare!
As a couple we stayed 2 nts in one place and 4 nts in another. I wrote a negative review for one and good reviews for the other. The negative did not get published a week later. This is a conflict of interest of Airbnb. Either they convert the reviews to a choice of anonymous with email confirmation, or else I will pass future renting, as this seems to be a passing phase until more like me feel cheated and quit using Airbnb. Airbnb HAS to weed out bad hosts.
If I could give a 0 star I would. A host on Airbnb tried to charge additional money for everything after we had already booked the place. Even charging extra for checking in at 11pm. Many many hidden costs. The host says if we do not pay the additional costs he will call the police… We reported this to Airbnb and they told us they will do nothing and we should wait outside to check in the following day at 4pm! This is crazy! They also told us it is partly their fault because they failed to release the hosts manual before the booking which included all of his additional costs, yet they do nothing.
Airbnb has ruined our trip and I will not be using them again
Tip for consumers:
Do not use this site. Just use booking.com as I’ve never ever had a problem with them
We rented a Airbnb last month through this site. Upon entering the neighborhood we realized very quickly that we were in a really bad neighborhood and did not feel safe even stopping at the rental. We reached out to the host and informed her and then immediately found a hotel nearby and spent an additional $1300 to stay in the same area. The host did not reimburse us any of the rental which was also $1200. Then we left a review sharing our experience and how concerned we were, and how we didn't understand how all of the reviews were good. Now I understand why because Airbnb then deleted our review a day later. This is such a dishonest an ethical system. Do not rent from Airbnb.
Air BnB. DONT DO IT. Avoid unless you have money to throw away. They refunded only $99 of a $1400 reservation I have to cancel shortly after reserving. They keep throwing out arbitrary numbers saying that first my refund would be this amount, then it would be that amount, then something else. They cant seem to settle on a refund amount and there is ALWAYS some story where they're trying to make sense of their funny math. Avoid the scam all together and get a motel/hotel. They have many, many did I mention many bad reviews and comments on their FB page from dissatisfied customers and their responses to the customers are laughable. They are pure garbage and scammers

Airbnb is the worst company in the industry! Not only they let a host cancel a paid in full reservation but there are no consequences for the host as well. When you call them, customer service (if you can call it that and outsourced in the Philippines) tries to get you off the phone asap and offers no remedies whatsoever! Back to using Home Away...
We rented a home for the Kentucky Derby. Spent over 3500 for three nights. The place was a dump. There was a cat in the house which we were highly allergic to. No ice and the fridge was broken. Hidden security camera was located. Loaded guns in the closet floor. One less bedroom that was on the description, a couch so dirty that is was black tar.
With all of these problems, they did nothing to refund our money. We had to file in smalls claims court. Airbnb actually made the owners changed the description of the cat and the bedroom after we complained about, but we received no help.
Airbnb is only concerned about renting these dumps out and making a profit rather than taking care of the customer.
I had a lot of problems with refund my money and reviews on the website they don't put any negative reviews on website. Only positive ones,... you can't trust it!
I have used Airbnb twice and very disappointing
Looks good in pictures but in reality dirty nothing like pics.
Dont trust it!
This loft room in the heart of North London had an amazing view with roof top garden, as well as a lovely comfortable mattress. Sally the host was very friendly and accommodating, would definitely stay again if I was in the Alexandra palace area. Ticked all the boxes for me. Really homely and comfortable and a lovely accommodating breakfast, great.
I do not recommend using airbnb for any booking at all. Their customer service and policies to safe guard the customer are terrible and absolute non-sense. My host was horrible and Airbnb didn't take any actions against them.
I will be making a descriptive video on youtube and Twitter soon giving a complete description on the service and mental torture.
Booked. They said the needed ID. Gave them Passport and drivers licence ID but that was not good enough. They wanted Facebook or Linkedin? I don't have either of these so could not book. I have now deleted my account with Airbnb and will never deal with Airbnb again!
No Responsibility!
We recently rented our apartment through Airbnb. Their idiot guest heated a French press on the stove to red hot then placed it on the kitchen counter burning a hole and causing $1000. 00 in damage. Airbnb would not pay for the damages. I guess it's ok for their guests to damage your property. It's not their money!
Owners of that business created a money making machine for themselves and nothing else.
They do not want to improve the quality of the service by lifting up the requirement's level for the hosts.
They just simply ignore all negative reviews to avoid some troubles with a cash flow.
As a 5 star rated Super Host I've had some bad experiences with Airbnb providing unfair service to their customers. I had a guest claim there was mold after they stayed for a night. I offered a clean inspection report of the unit and offered to provide a new inspection to prove it was not mold but a marker stain and they refused and took my money instead. Unfair service, they just want your money and won't even bother with documented proof.
Removing my app for this company. I purchased their insurance separately to be safe for my trip for another month after. They advertised it as whatever reason you cancel the trip including emergency. So it happened that I had an emergency and couldn't use the accommodation. Airbnb told me that the insurance only covers for 8 days after I purchased it. Yes they said it is under the condition but who does insurance expiration before you actually use for the day of the trip? They just said the insurance expired. Disgusting! Does not protect its customers! No more Airbnb for us!
Airbnb asked me to commit a crime. I made a noise complaint and airbnb refused to do anything unless I spied on the supposed neighbors making the noise. They wanted video surveillance taken by me of my noisy neighbors. I told them no because you cannot record someone without their consent. I have never felt so harassed in my life. I didn't want a refund. I didn't want compensation. I just wanted something to be done about my noisy drunk neighbors.

Travel stay
I rented a flat for two weeks in June in Grange Road, Highgate, London UK via Airbnb. I had several problems with the facility and the way it was managed. Foremost the misleading listings on Airbnb (most attractive features not existing) and a very poor Meet and Greet. I posted a detailed factual review on Airbnb, giving a list of good and bad aspects, and a rating of 3/5. Airbnb refused to post my review stating that it did not meet their review standards and that " The review didn't have enough relevant information to help the Airbnb community make informed booking decisions." This shows that the Airbnb review process is a joke, and that they publish only reviews that enhance their rating and their business.
They do not verify the fallacious listings put up by unscrupulous hosts.
Stay away from Airbnb and use their more honest competitors.

We had major issues on our trip. Communication with the host was limited to text messages until we found some major issues. When we returned home all of the issues added up and we asked for half of our money back. You have to request a refund from the host! Of course it was denied! Their own claimes services are so slow to respond. Just stay at a hotel.
My account has been locked for 5 days for an unknown reason. I've called to verify my identity and contact customer support everyday. My account is still locked and I've lost 3 bookings so far valued anywhere from $1,000-$8,000. I've had no progress and no help other than I need to keep waiting an unknown amount of time. I'm losing business and so is airbnb. But they don't care.
This is the worst service ever. I have had the worst experience with AirBnB. They really need to vet their hosts. I just arrived from Montreal to Brooklyn to find the house I was to stay in had a broken window and glass all along the patio. The host notified me by e-mail as I was driving down, but I was already en route. Hard to cancel and find other accommodations at this point. However, that's what I did when I arrived to the sketchy neighbourhood and a broken window with easy access. My 6 yo was terrified at the prospect of staying there. Air BnB's policy? Work it out with the host. The host's response "Not My Problem" and "No refund". Air BnB's policy allows you to be sent in to unsafe conditions, ripped off by a host and if you cancel the reservation you can't even write a review to warn others. This is Bad for your brand Air BnB. At the very least allow us to write a review if we've had this kind of experience.
This service does not vet their "verified" listings. If where I stayed was verified they need to change their process. I stayed in a place called Spaniards Landing in San Diego in September 2018. It was dirty, The bathroom looked like it has not been updated since the Spaniards landed. Broken tiles, broken shower handles. Unset toilet seat. The worst part was the run-around from AirBNB. A different "agent" every time to which I had to tell the sad tale. The rationale for not offering some compensation. The reluctance to agree to asking the owner to change the listing to fix the property. I also checked and the bathroom was never depicted on the site. Do NOT book through AirBNB. I am heading to Homeaway right now for my next stay!
After staying in a falsely advertised apartment I contacted Airbnb for assistance. The representative on the phone was rude and inconsiderate. I was told I had to figure out my own problems. On top of that I was overcharged for reasons unknown and have yet to find answers. My overall experience with Airbnb was beyond abysmal from their horrendous places to their unbelievably rude customer service. Will never use Airbnb again
I will never use this company again. They train their customer support to be vague, not answer your questions directly, not tell you what to do to avoid the problem in the future, and if you are angry they will throw a $50 COUPON in your face.
Now seeing other reviews I realize it's not me. It's AirBnb. All about making $$$$. I will never host with them nor travel with them again.
Stayed in a Brooklyn apartment booked through Airbnb.
Old and neglected was sold as "charming."
Could not sleep in the stuffy, uncomfortable space.
Left after two nights and requested a refund for the third, supplying Airbnb with photo documentation.
Got the refund, but Airbnb removed our review because our reference to an Airbnb investigation violated Airbnb's protocol.
Airbnb refused to allow an edited version of our review to be posted to their site.
It seems to be about money at all costs rather than fair information to be available to prospective guests.
They'll back charge you for damage that was there before your stay. Make sure you take pictures of all stains or chipped paint when you arrive. They will charge your credit card if the owner wants to scam and you will be stuck updating the house on your dime. The customer service will give you no love.
I certainly love to be a host, but don't think it is worth for me to rent out there anymore. Just too many people do it now and prices dropped dramatically. Unless you rent out all the time there is no chance to get a good price for your rental. That said. It is safer than Craigslist.
