My experience with Airbnb Luxe was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped into my luxurious villa, I was greeted with unparalleled comfort and elegance. Every detail, from the stunning architecture to the impeccable interior design, was thoughtfully curated to create a truly unforgettable experience. The amenities, from private pools to personal chefs, exceeded my expectations and made me feel like royalty. Moreover, the concierge service was exceptional, catering to my every need and ensuring a seamless stay from start to finish. Airbnb Luxe has redefined luxury travel for me, and I can't wait to indulge in another unforgettable experience.
Airbnb has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. No support when things go wrong. I didn't feel safe at a place I rented and check in or stay there. They will not refund the full amount. Was promised a $300 refund, then only give $200. The reservation costed $423. I will never book through them again! This has been a nightmare!
I don't usually write reviews but we had the worst experience ever. Our host canceled on us less than a week before our booking when everything had been fully paid. Airbnb was taking forever to respond. All similar places by then were double the price. Airbnb didn't want to cover the difference. Our flights were none-refundable. They refused to cover the cost of our flights. We lost so much money bcz of them. Never ever using their services again, worst site and worst customer service ever.
So, my review of the so-called "accommodation" which was a bed outside, yes outside, in the back yard covered patio lit with only white xmas lights and open to the rest of the house, with 4 roommates. Yes, 4 and me made 5 to share the small bathroom. I could go on but -- ridiculous. Takes a lot of digging to find "help" and then Airbandb took 4 days to send me and email that they hoped I got their email. Uh, no. There is no immediate feedback, phone number much less refund. The "host" who was not present by the way, never got back to me. What a crock! Where's my review? Does not appear. Had to find a hotel which took a while and of course cost more. I'm out of there AirBandB should be AirBandBS.
As a two year 5* Superhost with glowing reviews I ended up with guests who trashed our home and broke almost every house rule. Airbnb stood on the side of disrespectful guests even with photographic evidence and all my reviews. Airbnb's standards are not up to par. I provided a top notch STR. I removed my listing. Airbnb wouldn't have so many issues if they kept higher standards.
Dirty, mold, wobbly furniture, leaking water, nonfunctional toilet! Airbnb spoke to host and had her refund 400 out of the 2G I paid. Issues from day one, allergy and asthma attacks, falls from sitting on bad furniture. This is unacceptable! They never posted my review of the host! Never again, lesson learned!
Beware! The "Street View" shown the web site is not the actual location of the apartment. Airbnb does not give you the address of the apartment until you have paid for your reservation. We made a 35 day reservation for an apartment in Lyon-France for June this year. Based on the information displayed on the Airbnb website, the apartment looked very nice and the street views showed that is was located in a very nice area. After we made payment, we got the address of the apartment. When I checked the address on Google Maps we I found out to our dismay that the building was located in a very narrow and dark street with bordered up store front and shuttered windows. The area did not look safe. Everything was covered in graffiti and the entrance was located across from a building where the trash cans were collected. We tried to cancel the reservation. So far Airbnb is unwilling to refund the money and we have contacted the credit card company to open a dispute with Airbnb.
I rented a property a lake house for me and my family... it was in a secluded location when I booked the reservation I booked it for 4 people it was a three bedroom from a male host, when we get to the location was notice he had camera that you would not really notice unless you are looking for them they are location on the poach where you may not be dress in the evening or morning, I was so pissed. He was spying on us with hidden cameras Be careful! He later wrote a review saying that he thought it was for one person which is female he drove by the house that is how he knew I was not alone. SCARY! Be careful be on the look out for those hidden camera. I will not book with them again.
Book a place for a large family gathering at the time there was no covid related government restrictions. Then the government made laws prohibiting travel. We requested to cancel 6 weeks in advance. The host refused to refund us cited Airbnb official no refund policy! I wish I would have booked with a hotel where we would have got a fair refund.
I tried for a period of 4 days to delete my Airbnb account, The first Supervisor dropped the ball and never had another supervisor help to get this account delete, due to a legal problem. Thank god for David. He took care of this right away!.
I also had good experiences with Airbnb as a tenant, until now. The incompetent role of the resolution centre in a dispute made me cancel my registration. As a tenant, I was held liable for defects I had not caused and AirBnB decided in favour of the plaintiff: this is how you are outlawed as a tenant. Below is the case. At my last stay, there was a dispute with the landlord about who was ultimately responsible for the final cleaning. She then comes up with a declaration of maintenance costs for defects of which I was unaware. I refuse to pay and the landlord calls in the help of AirBnB resolution centre for mediation. The latter "vindicates" the landlord on the basis of photos, the invoice and that she had submitted the claim in time.
Giving Airbnb 5 stars because I am impressed by how quickly they responded to 2 queries that I sent them recently regarding cancellation of my booking and request for full cash refund because of my flight being cancelled thanks to COVID-19. I imagined that it would be a headache because of the stories I had heard with other hotel and travel agents e.g. extremely slow or no replies at all. However, within 2 days of submitting my request for full cash refund together with the required documentation, I received Airbnb's replyRahim that I would be receiving full cash refund. The first time round when I contacted Airbnb to ask some questions, I received a helpful and pleasant reply in less than one day. Thank you and great job Airbnb! :)
Worst company I have ever worked with. Not only did I have major customer service issues but refund issues too! They canceled my reservation after calling and speaking to them for days about issues I was having.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use Airbnb! Waste of money and time!
Thought we had a house rented in Destin Florida for family vacation and was told host did not like something about use so they canceled are reservations with out even notifying use they said they sent an email and I'm still waiting for it maybe they are sending it but not to me. I really am a check the reviews kind a of person but did not think this sight would be that bad and boy I was so wrong. I will be telling everyone I know not to stay away from Airbnb.
Very bad experience as I host I have to deal with and I would not recommend to anyone who wants to fight with them to do a business with them.
Guest interest is more valuable than as a host after someone damage your place or dormant pay you for extra guests
Airbnb works with their hosts to take their customers money without worrying about the safety and cleanliness if the product they are advertising. Even with documented photos and receipts, the company disregarded the customers safety, health, and contentment. Do not use AIrbnb... it is like throwing money away!
Four women rented a luxury house in Edgehill Tn minutes from the strip. The house was beautiful, new, and clean but trouble with internet and tv throughout our stay. However, the neighborhood was in a high crime area which made us uncomfortable. By the time they charged us $279 cleaning fee, for three nights, and did nothing, a service fee and tax it jacked on anther $600! Ridiculous! Wasn't worth the money.
I rented a room in gallup NM (small and on the poor side) for work (3 months). As soon as i booked they took my money for the 1st month. Unfortunately i lost my job 3 weeks later and went back home. Since then i have been phoning every number to get a refund for my 2nd month rent which they took out early. All you get is a run-around with their automated system. Long story short - i called my bank to dispute the month rent. My bank took my report and refunded my money for the 2nd month. I will see what happens next. And NO MORE airbnb. I have better success w CL.
We were refused into the unit by the building manager when we arrive at a condo in Chicago because they don't allow transient renters like Airbnb. The host happened to be out of the country. We were literally left holding our "bags" and had to scramble to find hotel rooms and pay extra.
Contact and help from Airbnb was zero. Subsequent communication and resolution w/ Airbnb was very poor and non existent. I was given the impression of "tough shi--" from Aibnb.
I hope this won't happened to someone else.
Totally worthless, no rooms available for 10 days in Denver, no one will
Return calls when I asked if maybe I could stay and move for one or two nights
That are booked, I could move to hotel... No answer, no one will respond.
Totally done with this airbnb service.
Buyer beware! Airbnb does not issue refunds over covid. You can lose tons of money if you get a positive test. Even worse... the policy allows for Covid positive guests to stay. No amount of cleaning can change the fact that a covid positive person might have just stayed prior to your visit. What a terrible policy...
I never made it through the booking process because of how bad and slow the customer services was. They failed to address my problems and took all day to reply to emails, which were the only contact method listed for the company. It took all day to get my deposit sent to the company. Four days later I receive and email from the property owner that the payment was invalid. While the tracking information for the payment shows that it was received and processed without a problem. One huge scam.
I attempted to book a room through Airbnb and everything in the booking procedure went well until I was asked to verify my ID. I had to write a description of myself and supply a photo online. Then I had to do a 10 second video even though Airbnb provided no instruction as to how to transmit said video to them. When I tried to ask for help with this, I got no response to my email and ultimately my booking was cancelled. From now on, I will use HomeAway or VRBO rather than subject myself to the time consuming and difficult procedures that Airbnb requires to simply rent a room.
We tried to book a stay in one of airbnb cottages and could not process the payment due to their server errors and errors on site. Now we can't book the stay as the dates are no longer available. Total waste of time.
I was going to refuse the charge on my credit card. Instead, I called the number attached to the charge on my credit card. I was then led into a process of conflict resolution where AirBnB refunded my money charging the host. I am very satisfied with AirBnB now except they seem to have intentionally made it nearly impossible to file a complaint and be heard.
Host texted that parking was no longer available. We cancelled. Airbnb kept their fee and obviously makes it impossible to contact them or post a review of host without staying there. Apparently Airbnb keeps their fee even if host completely cancelled or did not provide access.
Airbnb is not a responsible firm. They are collecting high fees commiserate with agents but ducking responsibility. Not worth savings. I'll try very hard to not use them again.
When I left a review of host stating that the unit was dirty, the host replied with name calling in his review of me. Airbnb would not acknowledge the hosts unprofessionalism. I do not appreciate being called names when leaving an honest review.
I had recently worst experience with airbnb, we had holidays with 3 children in Cyprus and ac was not working in 3 rooms. Temperature outside was almost 40. I called to host, he told me to contact to air bnb which i did. I had to call them everyday and after almost 2 weeks they took 400 euro even i did not stayed there for 1 hours. Host told them that i left apartment because i found another one cheaper.
Airbnb dont care, i dont feel that they are taking customer seriously. I will never book apartment form Airbnb anymore.
