I have bought several items over the years from Altitude! Always fantastic service with returns, exchanges, as well as outstanding customer service! Recently encountered Ana from the email service. I had changed my email address and could not get a free return label for my return as it was being sent to the old email. She said "no problem"! She quickly looked up my order number and sent the label through to my new email address! She was amazing!
I will be a customer for life and I tell all my friends about the store! I had the chance to visit many years ago in Montreal and loved that experience as well! Keep doing what you are doing! (P.S. It's a Canadian store people!)
They should be banned from doing business. Their customer service doesn't exist...thier promises and commitments are zero...they never respond tou you questions, when you ask about your order, they respond we can't do anything about it...

My order was supposed to be delivered on Dec. 1st. I managed to call them on Dec. 03 and they told me that the tracking number was probably wrong. They were supposed to come back to me the following Monday. They never did. Attempted delivery on Dec. 06 failed, the driver left a note saying that he did not have the package with him! Impossible to contact them, they do not even reply to my emails.
Dont' buy here if you live in USA. They say free returns. It is not true even if you purchase lifetime membership. Painstaking customs process and they don't even provide label or invoice in package. You have to contact them. Save time and money and order from a reputable USA company.,
Save yourself hassle or dealing with rude people. You can buy anything you want from there at other retailers, so do that. Would never support this company again. Had so much trouble with them. So rude.
My first, second and third experience using Altitude Sports has been top tier in customer support. I ordered a boot in a size that should have had plenty room but turned out to be too small. I tried a second time and the next size was still too small. I chose to request a refund and it was hassle free including shipping fees. However, my refund was withheld. A quick call and it was addressed immediately. I woukd recommend using this online Canadian company. They don't make the size of shoe, only sell them. Something must be done about shoe size standard in this country though!
I place an order on November 26. They are giving me the runaround. "You will get an email from the shipping company", "it is not our fault it is the shipper". Apparently, my $700 order with Xmas presents is held hostage by the shipper, and many other clients are in my situation. They are not letting me cancel, since the shipper has the order UNACEPTABLE. I am going in-person shopping next week and will return the order once it shows up if ever.
Customer services is unprofessional, its not possible to reach them, you have to wait on holeD hours and hours and not possible to reach them. Will not use this company again. Package was lost and its not possible to get hold of them or contact them. Don't recommend it.
The refund process didn't happen in five days. As of today I've been waiting for ten business days. Fifteen days in total with weekends and a one day was a holiday. I called today Altitude Sports today and was told they will need to call the company where item was sent from (and where it was sent back to) as they is no information available regarding the refund. They will leave voicemail with the company and the company will call them back in two to three business days. Once they know the status of my refund they will send me an email. Because it's a Friday, I'll be waiting another four-five days for amy information. Any other online shopping sites has never taken nearly this long or has kept me out of the loop. If I send a pkg back on a Monday I receive email wnen pkg arrives (by Tuesday). Then another email is sent to me to inform me that the refund has been sent. Refund has been sent. The refund is back in my account within one or two day's. This has been a the standard wait time for four other companies I've been purchasing from in the last three years.
I figured they were very busy so I decided to give them a few more days so to find out today that they haven't even began the refund process and it's also it is going to take even longer,.is very disappointing. I also need winter boots! I cannot buy another pair until I receive the refund from this pair. There's a winter storm on the way and it's going to be a big one which will last several days so this fact adds to my disappoint. Customer service was friendly however the five day refund process stated on their website is misleading and intrue. Just keep in mind that there is a shipping fee on returns that is taken out of your refund. I'm not upset about this, just letting you know incase you aren't aware of this.
Quality products for a decent price, equal or lower to the competition. Great selection. Impeccable service and delivery (I placed my order on a Saturday, the 17, and received my purchase on Tuesday, the 20). The item even comes with a pre-printed, ready-to-use return label, should you need to return the item. Plus, they ship internationally.
I won't be ordering from Altitude Sports again. I have issues with sore feet and read about the Altra shoe brand on Reddit so thought I'd give it a shot thinking I could return the shoes if i didn't like them. Found their Olympus womens shoes on Altitude Sports, a bit steep of a price around $200, but thought they'd be worth it if they made my feet feel better. The fit was fine, but they are honestly pretty ugly and look like clown shoes. I wasn't a fan, so I decided to return them. After paying a return shipping cost of $12 and waiting two weeks for my refund, I got an email saying the return was non compliant because there was some dog hair on the shoes. I took these shoes out of the box to try them on and put them right back. The pictures they sent back showed a bit of dog hair, but this wasn't damage to the shoes. What if I had tried these on in store and happened to have dog hair on my pants that got on the shoes? It's not like they'd make me buy them. They then said I would not get a refund and would have to pay an additional $16 in shipping to get the shoes back. So now I've paid shipping on these shoes two additional times. Don't order from this place unless you're really sure you'll keep the gear. Not worth losing all that money in this economy.
I was un-able to return a jacket that was opened X-mas day, because I bought in Sept. Never been worn other than to try on, and I was just wanting a different size. Sad experience and unfortunately I will never use Altitude Sports again. They didn't even try to make anything possible. Just left me with a expensive Pantagonia jacket that I will have to try and sell on the side, and then buy a new one elsewhere. Terrible experience. Keep this in mind when shopping with them.
Altitude has super fast shipping and fast returns. No waiting and wondering when your refund will come through. I purchased the ´lifetime free returns'. It's totally worth it and makes purchasing online simple and risk free.
Horrible horrible company. Didn't let me return a pair of shoes I never wore because they were shipped in the wrong size. Really really horrible company I feel robbed they are criminals
I ordered a winter jacket from them. I did a lot of research on the best winter jacket because I needed a good one when I walk my high energy dog in Canadian winter. I spent days and found the one. Altitude Sports had only one left in my size and colour I liked, so I ordered it before someone else would take it. I just received the package, which was relatively quicker than I expected and it was the right timing that it started snowing. But they sent me the wrong jacket. It's not even the same brand, not the same colour, not the same size, and it was way cheaper than the one I ordered. I checked the website and of course they don't have the jacket I wanted anymore. The only available one is xxs in a different colour. I was already furious by the fact that I couldn't get the jacket I wanted, no chances to exchange because it's gone. And the customer service rep who chatted online didn't know how to speak to a customer. I was a customer service in years, I know how they should talk to customers especially when it was their fault. Now I have to print out the return label and pack the wrong item and drive to Canada Post to send it back to get my money back. They didn't lose anything and talked to me like I did something wrong on the chat. Why would I have to do all this for nothing, for THEIR MISTAKE, and I'm not gonna get anything. If I could, I wanted to give zero star or minus 100 starts. Don't buy anything from them. They don't even apologize.
I bought a boot the 01/12 (wednesday), for Xmas… All the purchase was done as usual.
One week later nothing had changed, there wasn't a minimum change for the delivery process…Then, I tried the costumer service: Almost 90people before me. I tried the phone: The number exclusive for Montreal wasn't working… So I returned to the chat and waited for more than 30 minutes.
I received a confirmation that it wasn't delivered yet and I said, sa a joke: I hope it will be here before Xmas, it's my wife's gift.
Then they said: I can't guarantee 100%
My Gosh, if a online magazine isn't able to guarantee that something bought at the beginning of December may be delivered for Xmas, they should change business!
All that I to do now is to let my fingers crossed!

I received a pair of Blunsstones with manufacturer issues that surfaced five days after receiving. Turns out the boots had been made five years ago and were breaking down. When i requested to use my warranty i was met with a personal accusation that i was being dishonest and total refusal to accept that the store had made a mistake. The email i received was poorly written, I was denied a replacement pair, accused of lying, and they had misquoted my description of the problem and used it as part of their reason for denial. Im not sure anyone actually read my email at all! Buy your Blundstones from Blundstone.ca and dont bother shopping with these jokers. I will never shop here again. The cherry on top - this was the third pair of Blundstones i had bought from this store in the past four months. Alas, I was a liar anyway. Blundstone sent me a replacement pair and was friendly and prompt. Pay the extra $20 and skip the BS!
I ordered a pair of Salomon worth $300 and my order stayed inactive for more than a week, i had to ask them about the status, after 3 attempts i found out that order was not sent out, customer service as brief as possible and very bad, i rather drive to US and buy there even if its more expensive for me but i earn a great customer service (fleet feet in Buffalo is where i drive to)
I've just ordered 4 pairs of merino socks from them. I was a little worried at first seeing the rating for after placed my order. But everything turned out great and got them very quickly. Thank you!
I like the products selection of altitude sport but I think that they have the worst delivery service possible(xpedigo). I purchased 3-4 articles on the website and every time the items were delivered very late and the delivery guy just drop the package in front of my building main door and send a photo, meaning that the package was basically on the street very easy for someone to steal. The next package I order I paid for the one day delivery to be at home when the package arrive and it wasn't delivered on time, only the next day with very few information about the delivery time so I basically had to cancel my plan and spend 2 days waiting at home. So I really don't recommand buying things there (unless the delivery service is upgraded)
