I enjoy this shopping experience but the past few weeks seems less items available. No steaks that were advertised in your flyer. Was told by staff they never came in, ditto on the advertised asparagus. Second week at still no Amazon brand Italian sausage. The coupons are helpful, especially with the inflation, but can't be used at other locations which might have the missing items. I ordered a pizza but when I went to pick it up, I was told they dropped it and had to throw it out. I realize this location is relatively new so I hope my comments can be of use in improving things. The staff is very courteous.
Amazon fresh started off great in my area, and has seriously deteriorated over the last year. I won't be using them again. 3 of my last 5 orders went from delayed to cancelled with no explanation, and even though they charge your card immediately upon placing the order, they don't refund for 3-5 business days even after they fail to deliver! When they do deliver, bread is either: squashed beyond use, about to expire or sprouts mold within a day or 2. Absolutely atrocious. They were convenient during the pandemic, but I'll be taking my business back to the stores.
Same prices as our local grocery stores and sometimes lower. Order and get same day delivery! Everything is packaged properly with refrigerated and frozen foods packed in coolers with dry ice. Website is easy to use, wide selection, all good! If you're a Prime member it's a great way to convert your membership to saving time and gasoline for the very mundane task of grocery shopping.
At first the deliveries were timely and the frozen items were properly packaged. Then a few months ago they stopped insulating frozen item and just put them in paper bags. Not an issue if you are first or second delivery, but when your delivery comes 90 minutes to two hours after you receive the notification that it is out for delivery... yes, almost everything frozen is thawed and either must be used immediately or discarded. And now they have increased the minimum for free delivery to $150. As I do not trust them delivering perishables any longer, it is so difficult to reach the minimum that I have mostly given up on Fresh delivery.
I usually shop for produce myself but I injured my back several weeks ago and my wife broke her toe two days ago so we decided to try Amazon Fresh. We ordered green leaf lettuce but receive collard greens. We ordered blueberries but several were over ripe and mushy. One container was half empty. Some of the grape tomatoes that we ordered had mold on them.
Also, delivery guy left before we could tip him.
Amazon refunded those items but we ordered them because we wanted them.
Amazon Fresh used to include bottles of frozen water to keep items that needs to be kept cold, and frozen items are delivered in freezer bags. This is no longer the case. For the last 5 deliveries food has been arriving at room temperature at best. I'm talking about meats and diary products that nee to be kept cold. I make sure pick up the items as soon as they are delivered, so it's not because I leave my food at the door for hours. I don't think I can order from Amazon Fresh anymore especially if it is food items that need refrigeration. Very disappointed
Tip for consumers:
Do not buy anything that needs refrigeration

I'm beginning to think the sorters choose produce to send the customer "the signal ".
I tip big, I'm friendly at best and when there's an issue I try to conduct professionally.
But, as of late, severely rotted produce, damaged goods in general and frozen is no long as such.
Customer service is scarce.
Delivery, if not involving alcohol is left in places other than at my door, if it makes it.
I am at a tremendous loss for words.
I've been using Amazon Fresh and started off okay. Now they run late all the time. Had to throw out a order because I fell asleep before it arrived. Next order was supposed to be delivered between 5-7 and wasn't loaded to be delivered until after 7.
Fresh deliveries have a two hour window. That should take care of internal issues at Amazon. But no, well past delivery windows, Amazon will say that they cannot deliver, no reason given. And that is if you are lucky. Sometimes they just don't deliver letting the customer scramble trying to find out where there items are. Customer service for Fresh is basically useless. They have no ability to contact the actual point of service to find out problems. They usually counsel patience. Amazon has holes in its Fresh product. And need to perform better and they absolutely need to improve customer service. Customers should not have to put up with ineptitude. Having said all of this, sometimes they get it right.

I don't know what Amazon is doing, but my family and friends are dropping Amazon fresh because the amount is too high of $150 in order to get free shipping. How did it go up from $35 to all the way up to $150? This is ridiculous, we are all dropping Amazon fresh. I feel bad for the delivery drivers who just do Amazon fresh deliveries for a job. No one is going to be using that service again. I tried doing an order today and it was just lame! Are you trying to not get business anymore?
Tip for consumers:
Change your Amazon fresh charge to $35 for free shipping !
After wasting 45 mins with Amazon's assorted virtual agents and 2 live agents, I never got the answer re how to declare "no substitutions ". Have wasted a lot of money receiving products to replace the products actually ordered! Finally Googled it. There IS no way to say no to substitutions! Fine. I'll never use them again and hope to save you wasting your money on groceries you didn't order.
I order 33 items through Amazon Fresh. My delivered order was missing 8 of them, but I was charged for all items. Called customer service- they put in a replacement order because it was so many items. Got a text from shopper that they had started shopping almost 3 hr before delivery window. Two hour after delivery window I called customer service again. They said there was no driver a available and they'd issue a refund + $10 Amazon credit for my trouble. Said if I eventually got my items I could keep the refund. My order was cancelled an hour later. I ordered the items for a reason - what a monumental waste of time. Called store and they said there was no communication between store and Amazon employees. Not a good situation
Since I started using Amazon Fresh in September 2020, I had nothing but problems. On three occasions without any notice, I didn't receive my delivery. Almost every order I had something and their customer service is flat out awful. Find a local delivery supermarket, because you receive better customer services and you are supporting your local community. Remember, you get what you paid for.
I am so pissed that I'm not going to write the full story delivered to the wrong address all my food was open. And when I want to say that I want to blame the people who open the food without looking at the tag and name that it belong to. It all comes down to being Amazon's fault it was the driver who made the mistake and it was a driver who works for Amazon. I'm getting a refund but now I have to wait God knows how long before I can get money back from groceries this is unacceptable worst delivery company ever. And that's not even talking about the other drivers from other products too many mess ups.
Tip for consumers:
Make sure for them to ask for your name and the apartment address. And make sure to tell the driver to look very closely to your address or apartment number since they're always messing up.

I use none of the products since the wrong address that it was send to open everything
They use any reason to cancel your order. They just cancel and say "we ran into a snag". Absolutely terrible service. The stars that they have should be taken away. Terrible service. I will tell all my family and friends not to use Amazon Fresh
Order Detail: #**************833
I live in an urban area in a multi-family unit. No matter how many notes I leave and how much detail I provide on my account and profile, the imbeciles keep leaving the stuff on my neighbors steps! Stuff gets damaged and disappears if I can't get to it right away (like if I am sick) and there is absolutely no way to get through to them even though you supposed to be able to contact the driver. Customer service is of no use whatsoever. It's a mess.
Tip for consumers:
I don't know - I guess try a better, more reliable service unless there is no way they can mistaken the delivery address. They sure as hell will not turn their brain on or read any notes

Last time everything froze, the glass water bottles imploded because of the freezing temperatures, all the while the customer service kept telling me they were running late and there will be no delivery today.
First, I want to say, I absolutely love Amazon but today I my delivery from Amazon Fresh really ticked me off. My delivery person just sat my bags in the middle of the porch at the top of the stairs. They didn't ring the doorbell. With all the thief's happening, why would you leave the packages all exposed when I have a full porch, and not even ring the doorbell? That's just common courtesy. No one should have to tell you that. I have never not left a nice tip but I took the tip back and will reconsider ordering from Fresh again.
Tip for consumers:
The site is awesone. I just got a crappy delivery person this time.

I bought perishables items and will use them all.
One of the delivery drivers took my grocery order to another apartment. I was even calling him to give him directions but he never answered the phone. And this is not the first time this has happened it has happened many times.I want be ordering from Amazon grocery fresh anymore because of some of their delivery drivers seem confused when they deliver your grocery orders
I have been an Amazon Fresh customer for over two years now.
1/2 the time, the food is spoiled or rotten and the other half, I am missing food items or they put items in that I didn't even order.
Then lets talk about how they stuff the bags to the point where the bags are too heavy to pick up and the bags are ripped, or it's 1 item per bag. Totally sloppy.
On the other side, I was an Amazon Fresh shopper and they just give you a cart and a smart phone with the order app and send you on your way. You have 30 minutes or less to fill an order. No one's helping you pack the bags right and no one's checking your order before you put it on the shelves for the drivers to pick up. Very messy all around.
Tip for consumers:
Shop at a store, it's easier.

First time shopper. Went to the store in North Hollywood. They had just advertised the best price around for frozen turkeys (. 49/lb). None in stock, and no idea of when or if they would get them. Then on top of that went to find fat free half and half (figuring of anybody they would have that) and no FF H&H of any kind (most stores have more than one). My first visit was my last.
The last time I ordered groceries from Fresh there was no problem. They had all the perishable items in those insulated bags to keep them from spoiling. Imagine my stunned surprise this time when I found everything in regular paper bags. After a 2+ hour car trip, my ice cream was melted, the pizza was defrosted and bent, the sour cream was warm, and I don't dare take a chance on the raw chicken for fear of food poisoning. Who puts perishable food in regular bags for a car trip of several hours in the summer?! Amazon, apparently. I will never order groceries from them again. I never would have imagined that they would not pack the refrigerated things appropriately.
After I called them and complained they said they would give me a refund, but of course I'm out the time spent waiting for delivery, and I now have to go to the store and re-buy these things. It's a good thing I'm not quarantining. C'mon Amazon, get your act together.
Tip for consumers:
If I had known they weren't going to use anything at all to keep the perishable food from spoiling, I would never have ordered from them.

I was able to use all the non-perishable food. Bananas, mayo, potatoes, cat litter, soda. The rest had to go in the garbage.
4th time ordering from amazon fresh and every time there's something missing. And to make it worse, after requesting a refund for missing items, they proceed to ask what date is convenient for me to return the item... that I'm missing...
At first, I had reservations about using Fresh. I thought the prices would be high and was unsure about the quality. After trying it, I wondered why I didn't use it sooner! The prices are competitive, they offer deals, the produce is great quality and customer service is fantastic. There is a monthly fee and worth it. If you're a Prime member, there's no delivery charges for orders over 40.00. This is a great time saver!
Placed an order for a 3-5 pm delivery slot to be ready for the evening's dinner. At 5:30 pm when still no delivery we contacted Amazon support who apologised, but still claimed the order was on its way. Now it has gone past 10:30 pm, but the order still has not arrived. Arrogant support staff still can't confirm if the order will arrive and offering a £5 gift voucher for the inconvenience. Needless to say, we will use another food delivery service in the future.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use them

I have been using fresh since the pandemic and it's been terrible. I have constantly had missing items. I'm not sure if it's the packers or drivers. I m totally over it, they need to do better. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Just pitiful!
If I could give a negative or zero rating I would.
Hire more competent people to work for you when it comes to deliveries.
How hard is it to verify the address on the account to the house you've pulled up and delivered to?
Never received a delivery because they delivered it to some other random house and all they could do is refund us. I ordered it because I need it and your services are supposed to be convenient.
As they say- if you want it done right, do it yourself.
Never ordering from you again and will be sure to spread the news to everyone I know.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t, it’s easier to go to the store yourself than try to use the ‘convenient’ option they give.

Order arrived with the majority of items missing and the rest covered in some strange sticky liquid. This was not the worst part. The worst was dealing with customer service, including leadership. I was on chat for close to an hour and it felt like pulling teeth to get my items replaced. Amazon reps did not replace the items. They seem very lazy and just wanted to refund the items. This means Ill have to pay another delivery fee. This process took so much time. Close to an hour for them to tell me they'll just refund items and ill have to reorder on my own ( meaning I'll have to waste more time doing this and waiting for another delivery.)
Amazon leadership is also useless with helping. They've lost yet another customer
