Hello Amazon fresh. THIS IS FOR THE BRONX LOCATION.
I have made a total of 6-7 complaints to your customer service regarding a delivery issue but nothing has happened. A delivery person by the name of BRANDON has delivered to me 7 times and out of the 7, he has followed directions only once! I have a disability & i'm unable to leave my apartment (hence why i get my groceries delivered to my FRONT DOOR) i SPECIFICALLY state to deliver them to my front door but he doesn't. I live on the 12th floor. He leaves them on the lobby floor where they can & will get stolen. He also doesn't take pictures of the groceries when he steals them. There's another delivery guy named LEROY who on 3/24/25 left my groceries scattered on the lobby floor & on the mailboxes. He didn't bother to come upstairs either. He cut off the tracking so i wouldn't see how close he was then the text popped up that my groceries were delivered. He also does this when he steals them. Ive had my groceries stolen or "not delivered" twice by these two people. I will have to get lawyers involved because people like this shouldn't be working as delivery persons if they don't want deliver.
I DONT UNDERSTAND! I don't know these people personally, why is this happening to me? & i ALWAYS tip $8-$10! (if directions are followed) welp, too bad!
& GOODBYE AMAZON FRESH since yall don't care to solve the problem. 7 complaints is ridiculous! Edit: 3/25/25 ALSO WATCH OUT FOR ANOTHER DRIVER/DELIVERY PERSON NAMED KYLE. Was supposed to get water re-delivered today 3/25/25 but he cut tracking off & didn't take a pic of the product & it wasn't delivered to my apt door.

I ordered 2 bags of Easter Candy today for my children. 10 minutes after I ordered I get an email it was cancelled however my card was charged $25. I called and asked for a substitution and was told no! Then I asked for manager was put on hold for 29 minutes then the call disconnected! No candy, no help and no more money to buy candy 😥

I have been a loyal customer since Covid with Amazon Fresh. At the beginning, they had an issue with eggs being broken; however, they would refund the entire package. Many times the orders were complete and never missed an item. Today, out of 17 items, 7 were missing. I received a text message stating "all items are available". I have company and I was going to cook, There is no one to fix this problem. We can't contact, so that they can deliver the items in an hour or so. Ok. I got a refund, but I have to go to the grocery store. How convenient is that? And to get a message that all items were available? By the way, there was a bag of apples that I DID NOT order. Great. I gave a $7.00 tip, ordered over $100 to get free shipping, too. I do NOT recommend this anymore. WHEN THIS ORDER IS DELIVERED, the person delivering the items, should check them off at the drop off point. I will not re-order. There is no compensation for my frustration, time, and inconvenience. Giving a refund is easy for Amazon. Making tons of money. If you check my orders, Amazon Customer Service, you will see that I placed many, many, orders and I have not ever complained. Even if something was a substitute by mistake. I like the products, only if I could contact someone to fix the problem and to get my groceries. Did the delivery person leave in the car my mistake?

Awful!
November 14, 2023

My order said it was out for delivery. Suddenly got cancelled. Wouldn't let me reschedule it.
Employee said driver had an emergency & had to return to warehouse. Manager said items weren't put on the truck due to warehouse issue.

I can't use the $50 code off when I reorder because I "already used it"

All my coupons for the items I ordered can't be clipped again because I "already used them"

Amazon Sucks!
October 7, 2023

Masters of deception and bait & switch. They quote deliveries just to get customers to complete the purchase and then never come through with delivering on time. They are the poorest managed online retailer and you get nothing from Prime membership except Amazon Video. The only thing they do reliably is raise membership prices each year.

Amazon sucks and finally canceled Prime today after 20 years.

Ordered a few grocery items. They marked the items as delivered but I NEVER got my order! Photo proof of delivery should be MANDATORY for ALL deliveries. This isn't the first time, but it will be the last time I use Amazon Fresh. Completely pathetic

Customers don't matter
September 2, 2023

They just simply cancelled my order, not an apology or anything. Just an email three hours after the delivery slot saying your order is cancelled. No apology nothing. Unreliable and useless. I have been prime customer for over 15
years and not a message or anything. They are going downhill really fast.

Used to be no problem, and they included dry ice and refrigerated envelope things w the food. Now, the ice cream arrives as liquid. The half and half? Opened it to see a *solid block of rotten curdled milk*! Everything is inedible that was in there that needs any refrigeration. Idk if it's safe to even eat anymore! Eggs and meat etc... If they can't afford to $#*!ing refrigerate food, then don't provide a grocery delivery service! It's not working! I'm disgusted. Congrats on reducing your plastics use and energy use or whatever, Amazon. I was so looking forward to these groceries and my plans for cooking, and now am in tears. They won't offer a refund bc my last delivery had the same problem and, woah, I asked for $40 of it refunded. Silly me! Never again!

Taking a break from them. I had so many pics (now deleted) of messed-up items. It's been 8 months since I've ordered from Amazon Fresh and I was ordering like 2-3X's/month since Summer of 2020. When they are good they are really good but when it's Bad they are REALLY, REALLY BAD. I can't tell you how much Bad Produce, Bad Meat, Melted Stuff, Missing Stuff, Smashed Breads, Crushed Eggs, Dented Cans, etc. I've gotten over the years. Each time I call or go to the site for a refund because who has $ to waste esp these days? Once, I actually got my ENTIRE ORDER REFUNDED ALMOST $300 worth of Food because almost everything was damaged via their driver's lack of care AND the order was over 2hrs late AND MISSING 10+ ITEMS. There have definitely been more MISSES than hits. Also, prices can be VERY EXPENSIVE based upon what time of the Month you are ordering and other factors. Most of us who use these types of services either do not drive or have a car OR for health or other reasons need to have groceries & other items delivered instead of us actually shopping for them in-store. And we are all different ages; its not just the elderly; a lot of@ home Moms or just people working from home also use these grocery delivery services. So many of us Depend on this. Another issue I have which kind of turned me off from AF is 1 of my aunts uses this service and gets SSI + on SNAP. They used to deliver for free $35 for SNAP now it is $150. Most people esp if they live alone or just another person won't always need $150+ in grocery items. So, if your order is below the threshold you pay a delivery FEE (which ain't cheap)...and of course we need to Tip our Drivers because it's just the right thing to do if you have the $ to do so. I actually have been doing Walmart and a friend temporarily staying with me has been driving to pick up the items for free. But everybody can't do this. I know things are higher now but the service is now just too expensive price-wise + delivery fees if not $150+ especially when a lot of times you don't get your items in the right condition or much of to most of the order could be a HOT MESS.

Terrible service - DO NOT RECOMMEND
August 15, 2023

Amazon fresh started off great in my area, and has seriously deteriorated over the last year. I won't be using them again. 3 of my last 5 orders went from delayed to cancelled with no explanation, and even though they charge your card immediately upon placing the order, they don't refund for 3-5 business days even after they fail to deliver! When they do deliver, bread is either: squashed beyond use, about to expire or sprouts mold within a day or 2. Absolutely atrocious. They were convenient during the pandemic, but I'll be taking my business back to the stores.

Either they deselect my chosen timeslot without my knowledge, or delivery guy fails to deliver merchandise, or products are damaged and no proper customer care response. Pathetic. Stick to other grocery delivery services any day.

I love the idea of putting items in my backpack, scanning my palm, and leaving the store without going through a traditional check out. But...if you have a question about anything such as items listed on the web but not in the store, expect a rude and impatient response. Not sure where Amazon is getting these store associates but they could use customer experience training. Does anyone at Amazon understand the lifetime value of a customer - I'm not so sure!

If you are looking for a better experience, go to Wegman or Trader Joe's where customers are not treated like an annoyance.

I ordered groceries and places the order to be delivered in the afternoon. After the window past that I was suppose to receive the groceries, I called and the rep explained the order had not been assigned to a driver and my only options were to cancel the order and reorder and continue to wait and hope that it gets assigned. They had already charged my card and even when they cancelled the order, they took a week to refund me back my money so I wasn't able reorder the same day and I still without any groceries and money because of Amazon. NEVER ORDER GROCERIES FROM AMAZON!

NOT DAMN SATISFIED
July 22, 2023

I did not have the option to leave zero Stars so I had to click one and that's giving too much. I am a frequent Amazon fresh user I've never had an issue with the delivery until today I moved into a new apartment I left specific detailed instructions for the delivery driver to come to my new address as well as apartment number which he did not read food was delivered at previous address picture was blurry couldn't even see the bags or the door clearly all you can see was a red blur and brown blur from bag. Spoke to 2 different agents including one higher than the previous I was informed that I could not get my food redelivered today to the correct address and I was also informed that I wouldn't be able to make any delivery purchases for the next 3 to 5 days being that would take how long the money is reissued. I'm extremely upset unhappy Amazon is a multi-million dollar company and you can't resend someone's food the same day to the CORRECT ADDRESS. THESE DELIVERY DRIVERS NEED TO ACTUALLY READ WHAT WE WRITE. So I guess I'll just be in my apartment hungry for the next three Fn days because you guys are too lazy to send someone what they already paid for. Extremely upset and hungry sincerely not a happy customer. He must have taken this picture while he was running I'm pretty sure he didn't slow down long enough to read what address to bring it to...idiot

If you're disabled, homebound, and unable to carry your groceries up to your fifth floor walk-up apartment, DO NOT rely on Amazon Fresh to do it for you. The delivery instructions clearly stated that the apt was at the top of a walk-up, and that the customer is disabled - the instructions went even further to say that if the Amazon Fresh delivery person won't bring it up, then to take it all back. Instead, "Terrance" ditched all the groceries in the lobby and declared it "delivered". Thanks for nothing, Terrance.

For the last year+ I've experienced rotten produce that is also poorly packed. Amazon stopped using frozen food bags or even the cheaper frozen sleeves and as a result my items arrive completely thawed and at times unsafe to eat. I've brought this to their attention many times to no avail.
