I enjoy this shopping experience but the past few weeks seems less items available. No steaks that were advertised in your flyer. Was told by staff they never came in, ditto on the advertised asparagus. Second week at still no Amazon brand Italian sausage. The coupons are helpful, especially with the inflation, but can't be used at other locations which might have the missing items. I ordered a pizza but when I went to pick it up, I was told they dropped it and had to throw it out. I realize this location is relatively new so I hope my comments can be of use in improving things. The staff is very courteous.

Amazon fresh started off great in my area, and has seriously deteriorated over the last year. I won't be using them again. 3 of my last 5 orders went from delayed to cancelled with no explanation, and even though they charge your card immediately upon placing the order, they don't refund for 3-5 business days even after they fail to deliver! When they do deliver, bread is either: squashed beyond use, about to expire or sprouts mold within a day or 2. Absolutely atrocious. They were convenient during the pandemic, but I'll be taking my business back to the stores.

I scheduled my order today between 10am and 12pm, at 11.30 the order was still being packed and no delivery details, at 2.15PM I got a notification that the order could not be tracked and would not be delivered. Customer Service agent issued a refund and I got the underlying tone that drivers were either not delivering items or, worse, stealing them. I won't be using again.

Ordered on here because I'm a senior citizen... didn't want to go out to the store with the Coronavirus spreading! My Whole Foods order was suppose to be delivered by 10pm Sun. Eve! It was NOT! I stayed up until midnite, waiting! No call, no text, no nothing! They didn't hesitate to take my $ out of my acct.! AND, I'm a Prime member! I'm pissed! If I get the virus, from having to go out to a crowded store I'm sueing them!

Wilted vegetables, smelly fish, two day old steak, deli scales always inoperable, empty shelves, disinterested staff, overpriced. Started with lots of glitz and hoopla and a free can of water and has rapidly gone downhill since. Whole Foods, Mariano's, Pete's Market, County Fair? Too many other options.

If you're disabled, homebound, and unable to carry your groceries up to your fifth floor walk-up apartment, DO NOT rely on Amazon Fresh to do it for you. The delivery instructions clearly stated that the apt was at the top of a walk-up, and that the customer is disabled - the instructions went even further to say that if the Amazon Fresh delivery person won't bring it up, then to take it all back. Instead, "Terrance" ditched all the groceries in the lobby and declared it "delivered". Thanks for nothing, Terrance.

Still waiting for amazon fresh- 5 hours late no food in the house the before Thanksgiving. Everything closed and I am handicapped without a car! Thanks for nothing!

My third visit: None of Fresh flowers had prices, usually on the cellophane. Had to find a person, then had to tell him to scan it bc clearly he didn't know what to do. It's close to Easter week-end should have prices. Then some other food items no pricing. I don't have time for searching for prices. Then over to hot food, looked dried out. Then it was a production to get a answer as to whether the sign saying I get small soup free with sandwich. The actual deli person was like OH I don't know. Then when looking up at the board for the sandwich choices, it stops and moves to an advertisement. So I'm then suppose to go ready the actual sandwich labels. Loud loud music playing. I think you were trying to make it an event.
I will say the cashier young man was very friendly and did his job well.

Your prices are a little higher than most grocery stores. I think you need to train your customer service and the manager should be sure everything has prices. If I get a good coupon I'll be back but no not again.

I got notified that my delivery arrived, the postman normally leaves it at my door but Amazon Fresh seems to use a different form of delivery than Amazon Prime. Costs $10 extra to pay a random driver to leave broken wet boxes in front of your building and calling customer service to report the driver I was told that they cannot contact a driver after the delivery is finished. I got my refund but the service was such a disaster I have to let it be known, DO NOT USE AMAZON FRESH, THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY STANDARDS FOR THE DRIVERS THEY HIRE. THEY WILL LEAVE YOUR ORDER OUT IN THE RAIN TO BE STOLEN.

I'm experiencing retaliation for leaving a negative review on amazon fresh about a few items. After my negative, but honest review I wasn't offered someday delivery (a first) not only is my itrm coming tomorrow, but it's coming in the evening between 6p-8p. I can only imagine that this will continue until I find a different delivery service. After the negative review amazon fresh no linger wants my business imho

I purchased an amazon grocery order twice in a row, and two times my order was not delivered, ihad to call them on account of it. I will never shop with them ever again, way to muc drama to deal with for my money. Now i am sbject to wait two days to be refunded my money. Iwill shop somewhere else from now on, i don't have time to deal with their foolishness.

Tip for consumers:
It would have been helpful to know that they were having so called delivery issues prior to my making a purchase and being charged my money for the order i had purchased.

I've used Amazon Fresh quite a bit over the last 12 months. Some shipments were good, others not so much. But at this point, I don't trust them to provide FRESH food.

It started when I received a new package of shredded cheese, that had mold in it.
A few shipments later, I received another packaged of shredded cheese that was also moldy.
Apples are always bruised and soft.
I had a bottle of almond milk, that still had 6 months left until it expired, have black mold scattered all over the inside.
I've had frozen foods placed in bags without any ice packs, so that food is at risk of being old.
I've had bags of carrots that were ripped open somehow, and scattered in the bag.
Amazon Fresh will cancel your order without notice if even 1 item has a price change, isn't available, or unknown reasons?
Amazon Fresh will remove items from your order, without notifying you or letting you choose replacement... the list goes on.

After I noticed my almond milk go bad a few days ago, I've officially had it with them and just don't trust any of their products. I'll stop being lazy and go to the grocery store to make sure I'm picking up good quality products. And no, the grocery won't be Whole Foods, because they've severely decreased in quality (I've had the same moldy cheese problem with an item I purchased in Whole Foods). I think it's just an Amazon issue - since they took over Whole Foods.

The only PRO about Amazon Fresh, is they are good about allowing you to return and get a refund for these mistakes they make. But it's VERY inconvenient.

I went to this location for the first time today (6/26) with high hopes. While it wasn't crowded, the store was loud, the selection of products was limited, and prices were slightly higher than other stores. I was kind of expecting that. What I was not expecting, however, is that you have no idea how much your bill is coming to. I would have thought that with using the Amazon app, it should be able to keep a running total of all the items in your cart. So you'd know how much you're paying. The system should be "smart enough" for that. Instead, you'll get an email when you check out that "we are working on your receipt". Six hours later and I still have no idea how much I paid. Won't be back until this is fixed. Amazon, do better.

Editing my review to add: they also did not record my coupon, even though I scanned it as the employee directed. The only way I could figure that out was to total my purchases in Excel. Very frustrated.

Editing my review to add: no diet products. No sugar free applesauce. No sugar free tea. Only one choice for many major products. Expected to see more healthy items.

When store first opened I thought it was nice & a place I could patronize. Now the last 4 times we have been there it leaves much to be desired. The shelves are more empty than stocked, you are competing with people who work at filling delivery orders, not only with them grabbing the last item that you may want, but also avoiding their carts as they whiz through the store. When you provide a coupon to buy an Aplenty item at BOGO and then have literally no stock of Aplenty crackers in store, that is pretty sad, After a weekend, you would think management would schedule people to either work a night shift or come in extra early to replenish the shelves, but instead workers are in the aisles with ladders, etc. trying to hurriedly restock... again making hard for shoppers to get down aisles or to find the items they want. Also this last time, we asked one of those stockers where to find a particular item and she led us to something completely different that we asked for so it would be a good idea to do a better job of training the staff.
Even though the offers of money off on purchases is very attractive, I don't think we will be taking advantage of them because of the way that store is stocked and run... unless we can find another Amazon Fresh store that is not too far from us... this one is the most convenient.

Today 09-05-2021 at Washington DC 14th Street Store after I entered the store customer service lady said " You have to go back meet me around the gate if you not Prime you can't shop here this store is for select customer" please let me know your policy? " If you have cash you can shop you can't use your debit or credit card" As a financial advisor we educate customers not to cary cash this's digital age online banking mobile banking. I have noticed when they allow a lot of WHITE customers

Because of Covid and transportation issues, i have ordered weekly from Amazon Fresh for over a year. In theory this service is a good idea. In Reality, however, there are 2 major things wrong with it (in my opinion) that would help a great deal if they were fixed The Delivery timing is far too long for refrigerated and frozen items. I live 30 minutes from the delivery warehouse and am consistently delivered to at the END of the 2 hour window. After 1 hour max, there should be no delivery of these items for safety sake. So i have to call all the time and the only thing they do is a refund. (Which is only part of the problem). There needs to be some way to get the groceries that need refrigeration delivered within one hour. Secondly, quite often the quality of the vegetables specifically are underripe. And the fruits the same or overripe. Not sure how that would be solved but it doesn't motivate me to want to continue buying there. It's ok for non refrigerated items of course. But i would like to buy all my groceries at once and not have to worry about all this.

I placed an order yesterday for a delivery window between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. last night. Seemed convenient enough... Until the driver showed up in his car full of other deliveries, none of which were organized or separated. All the bags were just shoved into his little 4 door car as if he just pulled in and out of the loading dock in a hurry. Subsequently, as I unloaded my 31 item order, I realized I was missing 7 items (about $45 dollars worth of food). Within the Amazon app, there is a way to try to call the driver. I tried twice within 5 minutes of him driving away from my home. Of course, no answer. I then phoned the Amazon Fresh customer service number to communicate the missing items to them. No problem, they would either refund or have the items redelivered in the morning. I chose refund so we went down the list of what was missing. This morning I checked my Account. Not all items were refunded and the gratuity was still hanging out there (as if the kid deserved a tip). So I had to call back a second time to run through the list of missing items. This was a dismal experience that will never be repeated. A sad attempt at convenience that quickly became inconvenient and infuriating. I will not use Amazon Fresh again. Avoid if you can. Skip the hassle and just take yourself to the darn store.

I've ordered from Amazon Fresh before, no issues but had my first problem this time. My Fresh order was placed early in the day and set for an 8:00-9:00 delivery window. At 9:28 I received an email saying my order was cancelled but no reason given. No way to call a customer service number. I requested a call back. I was on-hold for 7 minutes before being disconnected. I used the online support "chat" and that person was polite but not exactly helpful. Probably not his fault, just operating by company procedures. Still, no reason was given on why the order was cancelled but he wasn't able to simply reschedule my deliver for the next day. The order was just "cancelled" for no known reason and i would have to go back in and reorder for a different date if i still wanted the items.
Overall, on most days I think Amazon Fresh is convenient and typically has speedy deliver but when things don't go right, you may find out late that the order you're expecting will not be coming. It may take 7 days to get your refund meaning you'll end up paying twice up front for your grocery shopping while you wait on your refund. Not convenient if you're tight on money. I completely understand things happen and not upset that my order didn't come but do feel disappointed in the lack of Amazon's customer service. It's not geared to be customer centric.

Tried Amazon Fresh for the first time in the Rodgers Park neighborhood of Chicago. Ultimately our order was never delivered, Amazon refused to cancel the order immediately due to "policy", and we lost our tip to a scam driver that did nothing.

Order process was extremely easy. Good product selection, reasonable prices. Free delivery with Prime with easy to schedule dates and times. We added a tip for the driver.

All communication was via email, Amazon did not use text which is faster, easier to read on a phone, and more reliable. We got an email to confirm the delivery window. We got another email when the item was delivered. Due to the email delay it took us 7 minutes to walk down to our apartment front door …. And there was no food.

The Amazon driver uploaded a picture of the delivery, it was blank. We called Amazon, they confirmed the picture was blank. We asked for a refund, their response was that company policy requires them to wait 2 hours after the window is missed. They did nothing.

We were able to cancel after 2 hours online, except for the tip. The scam driver kept our tip.

Amazon Fresh stopped delivering groceries with ice packs or frozen bottles or cooler bags. All frozen foods are bagged in regular brown paper bags with no insulation, treated the same as room temperature items. The delivery drivers do not have coolers in their cars, so it is not temperature controlled. It can take many hours until it finally arrives. Everytime i open the bags, i notice that all the frozen stuff is melted, thawed, spoiled. If i try to freeze it immediately, it doesnt help, the food is already bad. Sometimes i try it anyway and i get very sick from all of the food. Its not like one specific item that has an issue, its ALL the cold food items that are not properly handled and end up causing food poisoning. So i have to throw away a bunch of food which is such a shame to waste. And then get no refund from Amazon support because theyre all a bunch of robots... someone really needs to stop Amazon because they are getting a lot of people sick and not taking any responsibility for it.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use Amazon to buy food. Not worth the risk.

Harassing fat Mexican chick denied my use of a store coupon because she was PMSing, so naturally I GTFOed. Thanks for making me richer and thinner you dumb pig. You can go binge on your Amazon Fresh lard because you're $#*!ed and actually worth $5 an hour (BUT socialism enables your stupidity)

Amazon sucks and their stocks suck. Their time is over. Wake up, people. Maybe it's cuz Bezos stepped down so he could spend more time $#*!ing his tranny plastic Mexican girlfriend.

I attempted to sign up for a free trial per the email from them. Instead, they charged me $300+ for a year service. When I cancelled, they also cancelled my ALAREADY PAID FOR Amazon Prime, and now I have neither my "free" trial of Fresh nor my prime. But don't worry, customer service assures me she'll forward to management how "unfair" I have been treated. In otherwords, even attempting a "free" trial of this service is not worth it.

I was ordering fresh multiple times a week and it was good, until I had an issue with spoiled hamburger meat, their fresh policy states if there's any issues with your fresh order they will refund you for the purchase, this is a lie I contacted customer service for a refund or replacement, and was told because I threw the packaging away that I couldn't get a refund or replacement, so needless to say I'm out $20 and 3lbs of hamburger I will no longer order from fresh again customer service was rude and didn't care that they sent out spoiled meat for my family to eat and didn't care that I've been a long time loyal customer, it's their loss they'll lose slot more customers by not following their policy

Fresh policy is false advertising, they don't refund if your order is spoiled don't buy meat unless you like it spoiled and don't depend on Amazon to honor their policy or care that you have issues with receiving spoiled food that you can't use

Now I get "NO delivery windows available" (can't place an order & no info about when you CAN). While you wait for a window much of the items in your cart become unavailable altogether.

Tip for consumers:
If possible skip Amazon for food orders and delivery. Less and less reliable.
