Roman and Alex did a great job with my move. They were efficient and careful with my items. The price was fair and the service was excellent
I scheduled a duct/vent cleaning service through Angi last week. I wanted them to pick the contractor, just a qualified person, and they gave me a reasonable quote. I accepted. I got a confirmation of a match (the first on Friday October 4 at 8:41 am) for today - October 10, at 8 am. Later that same day, I got a second confirmation at 5:12 pm. I was puzzled at this, but OK. On Monday, October 7, I got a third confirmation at 11:55 am. Puzzled, I went online and looked at my booking, and yes, there was the named contractor - I sent him a message basically just acknowledging that I knew he was my contractor. All looked fine - and I spent a lot of time on Tuesday moving furniture and other stuff so there was clear access to every vent, vacumed each room, cleared pathways from any doorway they might need to use, etc. At 6:15 am - I get a text that my booking starts at 8:00 am. Then at 7:30 am, I get a text message that "unfortunately we were unable to match you with a top-rate pro for your service... we have rescheduled you for Sunday October 13 at 3 pm...". Thirty minutes notice that NO ONE was going to show for an appointment confirmed right through yesterday. I cancelled that booking, and now they won't let me write an honest review, because I didn't actually "hire" the contractor! So my honest review goes here. I will hire someone else, because Angi has wasted a good bit of my time, and I have no confidence at all that anyone will show up on Sunday either.
I would like to express my satisfaction about how the job was conducted by Weatherline Reroof and Repair crew and the final results.
The crew did well and worked steadily good clean up.
One thing that really impressed me was that the crew members came with detailed instructions including pictures of the areas needing attention, not only the description of the tasks to be performed as outlined in the proposal.
It is a sign of good management.
I will use them again
We had the service for a several weeks. Service this was awful. We went on vacation for 3 weeks and I send tham several emails that we will be out of town and they still charge us. I tried to contact tham they were rood and say they can give only 50% of the money. So I ask tham to cancel service and they didn't so they keep charging. And when I order service I never gave tham account number so got a new card and they still get money from our account I have no I idea how they have the account number. And customer service newer answers or calls back. Be careful with this company.
We were scheduled for cleaning service at our home on 9/7/22.20 minutes prior they notified us they were not coming. That did not stop them from charging our credit card. We followed up and they promised a refund, but it did not come through. We followed up several more times, more promises, no refund. We filed a credit card complaint to get our money back. Now they refuse to refund the money for the service they failed to provide unless we give up our protection rights through the credit card company. We have experienced their failure to carry out their promises, and thus, they have our money and refuse to give it back, despite no service provided.
Products used:
they failed to provide the cleaning service but took our money anyway.
They give you false installation times and do not back their failure when the person to do the work does not show up. Do not use this Company for any needs. Well unless you want to take off work and wait for someone to arrive on their false claims that you have an appointment.
I had a job scheduled with Angi that got rescheduled 6 different times because they could not find someone to do the work. They finally ended up cancelling the job. It was very frustrating, they cancelled some of the jobs on the same day it was scheduled to be done. I believe they have not been ready to do business since they merged with Home Advisor which was much better.
We went through Angi's list to hire a contractor to install a hot water heater. Angie list charging us $759? Contractor had mechanical issue, was no show. So canceled service. Contractor texted me this morning. To apologize, even though we found someone cheaper. Contractor preceded to inform me that if we had contacted them directly, instead of Angi's List, it would have only been $300. So Angi's List more than dbl the cost so they were getting $459 fee. So I will never use Angi's List again
We received the handyman contractor suggestions from Angi and were in the process of selecting a contractor, working out the details of what was to be done, and how much it would cost directly with our chosen contractor. But Angi kept sending us ads for other contractors, both for handyman work and other work that we were not interested in. They even sent a contractor to our house to give us another estimate without our consent.
We had a deck that needed help. I saw that neighbor was having a new patio added to their house. I was so impressed with the work that they did. I asked who is doing the work? OHIO EXTERIORS.
I called them and had them come out and look at our deck. Yes, they could help.
We saided OK.
The office was very kind and keep me informed on the project.
Guess what! Now so impressed with our new deck.
It's beautiful.
The workers were so professional and really cared about doing a good job. Even with the clean up they looked over several times to make sure ever thing was picked up.
Would I go to them again: OH YES! And so should anyone looking for exterior work.
THANK YOU - OHIO EXTERIORS.

We will never use Angi's "Book Now" service again. We booked a ceiling drywall repair and texturing. In this program you do not vet or choose the service provider. You provide and pay for all the materials. The first worker Angi sent came with virtually no tools, did not tape and feather the repair, and left multiple blotches of canned texturing on the walls. After sharing our dissatisfaction with Angi, a second repairman was sent who could not or would not do the texturing properly, and brought his girlfriend when he returned to finish the job. Both were handymen, not drywall professionals. We are hiring our own workman outside of Angi to finish this project.
Booked with Angi, but the contractor did not show. Asked for refund of $271, has been over 2 months and nothing. Was hung up on the first time I called about it. 2nd job booked, another no show. I also found the I was booked for recurring services when I specifically selected a one time option. I was told I would have to pay extra for services I already chose and indicated I wanted done in my quote after already paying. This is not the way to do business, and I will not use this service again. Use at your own risk.
Champions Home Services with Andres as the Project Manager, did a fence in my cul de sac and I was so impressed, I asked him to do my fence. And I was amazed how professional and beautiful the fence came out! The neighborhood was so impressed several have asked him to do work for them as well! Very professional, efficient and pricing unmatchable! Will definitely refer him and use him again for many other projects I have!
What a waste of time and money trying out Angi list for getting work. As you will hear from a ton of other Pros that are reviewing, here is my experience (1) you pay for leads that don't call, text or email you back (2) they deny lead credits on bad leads (3) as a Pro you spend a lot of time and money on bad leads that generate zero work. The leads are a hit or miss and a Pro starting out should go a different route. I recommend to just take the money and time you would be spending on this service and use it on FB marketing campaigns, visiting Home Depot/Lowes/Tile Shops and others like them to set up pro accounts and get work through them. Also, hit the street, create flyers and drop them in peoples mailboxes, add your company to Google Business, and most importantly create a website. If you need help email me *******@theCREteam.com. Thanks and good luck.
Working with the customer service team at my Angi was one of the worst experiences with a company I've experienced. They are difficult to reach. When you do reach a person they're difficult to understand and they offered no solutions. I simply wanted a confirmation a house cleaner would show up at a specific time and they said they work with independent contractors so I guarantees. All in all, I have no idea how they're still in business. Think before you book!
Tip for consumers:
That they do not guarantee the service even though they ask for the payment in full in advance of any service.
Excellent work and well priced. They went above and beyond to ensure I was happy. They explained what would be done to my roof and showed pics of the exact work they completed right after the job was done. I will definitely recommend to friends and neighbors, and will be using them again for any roof repair/maintenance needs.
Stay away from this company they are a total scam. They will call you a leave messages that there is something urgent and you must call right away something like this "This is Angie and we have something urgent to discuss with you." Naturally you get worried that something has happened and call them back just to find out they want to sell you a product you have told them several times before you don't want because you have tried it for years and it doesn't work at all.
Tip for consumers:
If you can block there phone number or you will be harassed by them.
I asked for a locksmith, I gave my name. Address. And which door lock was broken, I left town for a week, but my wife was home. Three days later, a attempt was made the break into my home at the door with the broken lock. I had put an oak board wedged into the door handle preventing entry. It had been moved but held the door securely. Angies list where to only people who knew where my home would be vulnerable. Never trust this company. Jim paulson
Received a lead that only had 14 windows to clean outside only is worth maybe a $100 they wanna charge you $40 for that lead Block doing business with a company that expects to take half of your income on a job lead
I was scheduled for a job and then postponed 3 times with phony excuses and then cancelled because an "emergency". We planned and changed our schedules 4 times and then angi's pathetic excuses. Their bad service will spread around our friends and neighborhood.
We had Feliciano Services & Remodelling installing iron fences and gate at our building in Oakland last week. Feliciano and his workers did an excellent job and price was reasonable. We are happy that we did choose them to perform our project after having more than 3 other contractors submitted their proposal work. We would rehire them in the future for our future projects.
I got the service b/c a neighbor recommended them. So far, I've only had issues. When I search for a service they automatically set up an unwanted appointment. They keep sending me Handyman services when I'm looking for a Locksmith or Plumber specifically. I have requested to be called before they send anyone over and that never happens, resulting in people showing up without the right tools and/or equipment, because they do not know what I need. Then they expect me to pay for a service call that was not what I wanted. So far, their services are not at all helpful, on the contrary, they are costing me money and nothing I've needed has come out of my membership with them. The people that I have been able to work with are through my neigborhood app. And not through Angi. Would definitely NOT recommend them.
I booked a yard cleanup service, however, they requested lawn mowing for me. I called multiple times and ask them to correct the service. I was told nothing to worry till the morning when I service was about to occur. They finally realized it was a big mistake! Yes, I got my refund, but, I have totally wasted my time! Now, I have to call people around to get the service. I will NOT use ANGI anymore! It makes me Angry!
I recently had three hurricane shutters installed on my doorwalls by "Roll Shield" in Clearwater, FL. I was sooo pleased with the service and the quality of the product. They walked me through their factory area and showed me how they build them. The people were so understanding, patient and respectful. People who do a good job should be appreciated, so I want to recommend "Roll Shield" as an outstanding company.
Thank you "Roll Shield".
Chapman, Clearwater, FL.
I needed someone to replace ceiling fans. I went online and found someone. I didn't even realize I had contacted Angi because it was not evident from the web page. But, having used Angi long ago, I thought I might as well go with them. I booked someone who never showed up. When I called Angi, I was told I would get a refund.
The next thing I know, a few days later someone is at my place ready to do the work. I didn't ask for them They just showed up.
Finally, I thought I signed up for some plan that would give me a discount but it was a plan to charge me for a handyman every month. I felt misled.
I still haven't seen a refund. I will never use them again.
After purchasing $2729.45 of manufactured hardwood with the manager showing us what we needed to match the wood flooring sample we brought with us. we received the wrong color of wood and the wrong
Width. When we returned it to Menards for a refund they charged us a $810.00 restocking fee. We complained that they made a mistake, and their reply was "you signed for the order." Of course we signed the order with faith that the manager knew what he was doing. They are making us pay for
Their mistake and that is not good business practice. We have purchased many household items from
Menards over the years and thought they were a reputable company but this is gives them a black eye
In our estimation. We will be contacting the corporate office also and hope that we will be able to get
Some relief and a refund of some if not all of our money. Until then Menards is not the place we want to
Do any business with.
I've used HomeAdvisor and Angi and have found both are equally greedy in their mission to pull as much money from their contractors as possible without helping them in the least bit. Angie (Angie's List) has a policy of charging their contractors monthly regardless of what they offer the contractors. I paid for 3 months of service ( paid leads) with zero income from the leads. In the end i was forced to end my contract early to avoid wasting more money.
