Roman and Alex did a great job with my move. They were efficient and careful with my items. The price was fair and the service was excellent
I scheduled a duct/vent cleaning service through Angi last week. I wanted them to pick the contractor, just a qualified person, and they gave me a reasonable quote. I accepted. I got a confirmation of a match (the first on Friday October 4 at 8:41 am) for today - October 10, at 8 am. Later that same day, I got a second confirmation at 5:12 pm. I was puzzled at this, but OK. On Monday, October 7, I got a third confirmation at 11:55 am. Puzzled, I went online and looked at my booking, and yes, there was the named contractor - I sent him a message basically just acknowledging that I knew he was my contractor. All looked fine - and I spent a lot of time on Tuesday moving furniture and other stuff so there was clear access to every vent, vacumed each room, cleared pathways from any doorway they might need to use, etc. At 6:15 am - I get a text that my booking starts at 8:00 am. Then at 7:30 am, I get a text message that "unfortunately we were unable to match you with a top-rate pro for your service... we have rescheduled you for Sunday October 13 at 3 pm...". Thirty minutes notice that NO ONE was going to show for an appointment confirmed right through yesterday. I cancelled that booking, and now they won't let me write an honest review, because I didn't actually "hire" the contractor! So my honest review goes here. I will hire someone else, because Angi has wasted a good bit of my time, and I have no confidence at all that anyone will show up on Sunday either.
I'm a customer and I inaccurately entered my phone number. That being said, Annie's apparently assigns a phone number to reach the vendor (in this case a deck cleaner and seller). Not sure why they do this but I called customer service to correct my phone number. After a day, no correction. I then went unto my account and made the changes and that still didn't work until a day later. Meanwhile, the pics I uploaded of my deck through Anjie's site, the vendor never got. The site is an absolute mess. I will not use it again! 11
I indirectly used Angi today to request a quote for a retaining wall we want installed. I entered all the information about the job when I submitted the contact page for a contractor on-line. Nothing was said about this being Angi or Home Advisor.
A while later an operator from Angi called and asked me what I needed done. I repeated everything from the original message. She said I wanted brick repair done and the quote was $795. She obviously had no idea what I wanted, so, I said to forget it.
Angi is useless!
I want to be able to look up businesses and see their reviews. I want to contact them myself. I do not want random businesses to contact me. I tried your service as it's been changed and the company that you said would contact me never did.
I am a small business owner who is a One Man Band.
I do my contracting on the side on the weekends for a side Hustle.
I have been Constantly Harassed by Angi leads and have blocked their number on 50+ occasions
I am not paying someone a fee for a service that I can not support.
I do not believe in giving my money away for nothing and that is exactly what almost every person who gets suckered into this contract will be doing.
Money for nothing!

I give Atlas Building & Remodeling L. L. C. A 5 Star. This company was very professional and skillful in there work. I very much appreciate there work and I would most definitely recommend and I would use this company for my next project….
While searching for a home cleaning service I found several reviews for Koller Cleaning Home Services. I contact Koller and explained the service I was looking for was a onetime deep cleaning. Ana from Koller explained to me what a deep cleaning would consist of the time it would take and the price. I decided to hire Koller for the deep cleaning and very happy with the service. They did exactly what they said they would and my home was beautifully cleaned. They were able to complete their work with very little disruption to my daily routine. I was so pleased with the service Koller provided I have hired them to continue with regular routine home cleaning service. The price for their cleaning service was fair and reasonable. The work is first rate, and the people are the best. I would highly recommend Koller to anyone search for home cleaning service.
I received one legitimate lead from Angi and was charged for 7 leads. Each one of these leads costs several hundred dollars each and I was not able to reach the leads in which I was charged for. I was told that I could submit for a refund and was denied those refunds, leaving e to pay for leads that I was never able to get in touch with.
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
The contractor and his crews did an admirable job, and we shall certainly hire him again. However, the website was most frustrating. I tried every day for over a week to enter my review, but the computer kept saying, "Internal Server not working" etc. I finally wrote the review in Word to save it because I had to rewrite it all the time, and then called Angi. A very helpful customer service representative listened to my problems, promised to send word to the technicians, and sent me a form via email. I filled that one out, which gave me access to Angi in another format, and successfully submitted it at last. The plus was the contractor; the minus was the website; hence, the 3 stars. I gave the contractor 5 stars.
Tried Angi several times, it seems like all's they want is my money. No honast, successful contractor needs to waste their money advertising on Angi. Just Google a contractor for your job, Angie is a middleman and bad at. The BBB rates at 2 stars, what does that tell ya?
They give u a job or two then scam u for leads they send u that don't have nothing to do with u services then somehow u fall under that category so u end up having to pay for jobs that u don't even do
Tip for consumers:
Be ready to pay for scam leads

I am happy with Angi because you don't stop until we find the right person for the job. You have contractors who are responsible. I had a bad experience with one contractor and Angi followed up by removing the contractor. I am appreciative of your service.
Angi leads will scam you out of money for bogus leads also if you pause account it does not stay paused for listed amount of time customer service is not helpful and they will not refund you or correct issues just give you the run around
Tip for consumers:
Do not use
A short story: I am a plumbing professional running my own small business that WAS on Angi's Pro Services. It is a scam. I had my leads paused from other issues I was having with the system. During this time that they should not have been able to charge me, they gave me a pre-scheduled appointment at a customer's house that I could not cancel and charged me immediately. Contact information for the customer went to voicemail. Customer called me days later and said they had no idea why I had been given their number as the project had been completed weeks ago. I filed for a credit to my account and was denied.
ONE OF SEVERAL similar issues I had in the span of a month.
Tip for consumers:
99% a scam.

I hired them to remove stuff from my yard on Friday 3/30 cause I have construction scheduled for Monday 4/3. I took the day off from work and 2 hours before they canceled. They have cost me about 1000.00 I have to cancel the deliveries and contractors and now my contractors can not come back to do the job for 3 weeks. This is a service that you hire that they do not have people to do the service. If I would've known that they could not fill the job I would've went elsewhere. I never experienced something so unprofessional and when you call the calls are sent overseas and their English is so bad
Tip for consumers:
Do not use them. They will waste your time and cost you money.
I requested recommendations from Angi and then received a call from a person who said they were representing Angi. He said I needed to pay there estimated amount in order to get the list of providers who would perform the service. Since I haven't used this service before this sounds super shady to me! I refused and he kept talking, telling me this is how they do things. I disconnected the call and reported it back to Angi I haven't heard from them so maybe this is how they work. I want no part of it!
I purchased an item through walmart.com, and Angi's was the contractor assigned to assemble the item. The technician called me to say that he was going to my fathers home to assemble the product. However, he never showed up. I purchased a recliner lift chair for my dad who is on hospice and was in great need of the chair so that he could get up. We had been waiting for Angi's for two days. When I reached out to their customer service, which is located in the Philippines, I was told that I would need to wait another two days before another technician could come out. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that I would be put on a call list to have a supervisor call me back. The customer service is absolutely horrible and I would never deal with his company again.
My water pipe broke and called angi for a plumber to fix it. The person i talked to did not understand english and sent the wrong person to my house. I told her my pipe broke and my entire kitchen is flooded and she put in the notes no repair on water pipes needed. So I did not recieve a plumber. Thanks to angi I have to wait entire week to get a fixed and go without any running water.
Tip for consumers:
dont use the site
I have used this service for the first time in May 2022. I needed to have handrails for both the entrances from the garage to the living room and hot tub room. In addition I needed a second handrail added to the stairs going to the master bedroom and 3 locks installed. The contractor did not come on time or with the necessary tools. The work was substandard and incomplete. I was waiting for the contractor to come back to finish since he left the work areas with sawdust and Tools spread around. He never came back. I filed a complaint with Angi and the response was that because I didn't file within 30 days under their policy they would do nothing about it! How can this policy be a in effect since the job was never completed? I recommend highly not to use this service.
We have used Angi for many years. How else do you find the right professional or craftsperson for the project? The convenience of having the business's description, reviews and more recently the approximate estimated cost for the service is invaluable for home owners.
Angi's Leads is probably one of the worst things I have ever spent money on. They sent you leads that was already sent to another contractor several days prior to you receiving it. They send you leads that you have listed that you aren't licensed to do. They send you leads to call people that was never interested in receiving any work done. They charge you a stupid price that's higher than what you would get paid for doing the job. I received a lead from them to add 2 pieces of trim around someone's window and they charged me $189.00 for that lead. They never give you a credit for anything they send whether you don't have the license for it, or the homeowner never requested their information to be given out to contractors. This is the worst thing you could ever spend your money on because you will end up losing a lot of money rather than making any money using them.
Since Angie' List changed to Angi's, I have been disappointed with how service providers are selected. When Angi's was Angie's List, I was able to review the providers, their reviews from previous clients and make my decision on who I wanted to hire for the job. Since the company change, this process no longer exist and I find myself researching other options. I have been a member for 17 years and again, disappointed.
Home Advisor who Sucks Owns Angie's List! Most people don't know this! I was getting leads from Home Advisor that you pay per lead and I was getting leads from Angie's List that you pay per month. My Monthly fee for Angie's List was close to $800.00 per month. The leads for Home Advisor was up to $1,800.00 per month. On Home Advisors leads it said Angie's List right on them! I would call my customers and they would say I never contacted Home Advisor! I contacted Angie's List. So the Scam is pay per lead on Home Advisor while paying your Monthly fee on Angie's List. They would get you to pay for both! I called and called and called both Angie's List and Home Advisor to complain and all I ever heard was we will take care of it! Yeah right! I was run around between both companies. It's the same thing with all these big companies all they care about is stealing your Money!
First, I was approached by someone from Angis List, who claimed he could repair heating function in clothes dryer in February, 2023. He spent three days, tore apart the dryer twice, then claimed he couldn't fix it "due to control board malfunction"; for which he knew nothing. The control board worked, as always. The A transistor in the electronic mother board (again, he knew nothing about) was the problem. He charged $550 (nothing repaired) to do less than nothing: I later purchased a working used dryer for $200, which works fine now. Also, I was charged $25 lately by broken-English annoyance from Angis list, for necessary plumber services (no work done, only phone calls and charges), when I told Angis I wished them to stay away from my residence for ANY future function.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid Angis List, or whatever its called this week. Seek another service.
I consulted with Angi to find a mobile home inspector. The first inspector that contacted me seemed qualified until he had to admit to me that he did not carry liability insurance. Completely unacceptable Angi. Great vetting. Every Angi reference I have researched thus far had a limited amount of experience and was not not recognized by the BBB. Nothing but a glorified advertising agency IMHO.
Don't give them your phone number. You get calls from all over the country from middlemen looking to make a buck to do nothing. I wouldn't recommend them. You don't know what you're getting. You're not getting any body local.
Hi Lisa, Thank you for your review. We apologize that your experience with our team was not more positive. We do not require that you pay in order to get references for quality pros in your area. You can search a list of providers at www.angi.com instead if you'd like to contact pros at your convenience. Once you are logged in, type your category into the field titled "Lets find what you're looking for".
