Roman and Alex did a great job with my move. They were efficient and careful with my items. The price was fair and the service was excellent
I scheduled a duct/vent cleaning service through Angi last week. I wanted them to pick the contractor, just a qualified person, and they gave me a reasonable quote. I accepted. I got a confirmation of a match (the first on Friday October 4 at 8:41 am) for today - October 10, at 8 am. Later that same day, I got a second confirmation at 5:12 pm. I was puzzled at this, but OK. On Monday, October 7, I got a third confirmation at 11:55 am. Puzzled, I went online and looked at my booking, and yes, there was the named contractor - I sent him a message basically just acknowledging that I knew he was my contractor. All looked fine - and I spent a lot of time on Tuesday moving furniture and other stuff so there was clear access to every vent, vacumed each room, cleared pathways from any doorway they might need to use, etc. At 6:15 am - I get a text that my booking starts at 8:00 am. Then at 7:30 am, I get a text message that "unfortunately we were unable to match you with a top-rate pro for your service... we have rescheduled you for Sunday October 13 at 3 pm...". Thirty minutes notice that NO ONE was going to show for an appointment confirmed right through yesterday. I cancelled that booking, and now they won't let me write an honest review, because I didn't actually "hire" the contractor! So my honest review goes here. I will hire someone else, because Angi has wasted a good bit of my time, and I have no confidence at all that anyone will show up on Sunday either.
I am not sure what value they add. I submitted a request for cleaning service. I got all sorts of emails that someone was interested in cleaning. I clicked on the email link to the vendor interested and nothing came up except for ads to join Angie for 19.95. Angi called me and said they were sending out requests. Again, no one contacted me... more emails, same result. I'm not saying anything negative happened with service, I am saying that nothing of any use happened and the process was just annoying. I ended up Googling, finding a few companies, picking one.

Was a Pro for Angie Leads I received several leads. Tried to follow up with the home owners never could get in touch with them. I requested a credit and wasn't granted the credit. Feel like it was a bogus lead generated by Angies leads to be honest to charge their pros. No wonder they are so successful, terrible company to say the least. Please save your money your better off without them.
They have you fill out the form about your project a dozen times. You get matched to nothing. You call and again get matching to nothing because you're doing it wrong and need to go back and refill form. Total waste of time and energy.
Diamond wood flooring is the best of the best. Oscar and his crew are timely, responsible and respectful. They laid 4 bedrooms of flooring and they turned out spectacular. You can trust them totally. They are neat and clean. Don't hesitate to use this company.
I am a contractor and I paid for leads and at first it was great then they kept charging me for leads I never got and they said we will look into it. A month goes by and still the same no leads and money taken out of my account. Wouldn't recommend them. Go to google and get you a website.
Unfortunately, big box stores have contracted with this Angi to handle their pros installation. I bought a toilet and install from lowes and found out that Angi was handling the installation. They scheduled me for service without even talking to me, I wouldn't be home at the time they scheduled the pro. They are very difficult to get a hold of. Also, have I mentioned they were sued and had to pay 7.3 Million dollars? Stay away from anything Angi if you want the job completed.
Tip for consumers:
Save yourself a headache and skip any store that utilizes Angi to handle their installation services.
Changed my job from repairing storm damage to a porch, to an appliance installation. Contractor showed up with a drill and couldn't do the job. Contacting Angi was a night mare. After an hour on the site and in the chat they finally offered to reschedule and send the correct contractor. When I declined it took another 30 minutes to get a refund. Save yourself a headache and ask your friends for a local contractor. Another fun fact, the contractor told me he only receives 30% of the fee I paid. AWFUL!
Yes, I recommend Renew Home Exteriors to satisfy your needs of home improvements. The staff is remarkable. They deliver what they say in writing as well as a finished project. Ed, Sheila, and Jaime did a flawless job on the exterior of the home. I couldn't be more satisfied.
I desperately needed a dryer vent clean out (and still do.) I was hoping Angi's could help. They scheduled an appointment for a Sunday, which I though was odd but I could make it work if they could. I changed my plans for the day and waited. Just when the serviceman was due to arrive, hey emailed that he was not coming and made another appointment; again for an unusual time outside of work hours. Again, just when this service person was due to arrive Angi's sent an email informing me nobody was coming and set up yet another appointment. I emailed them and said unless they could give me the name of the person scheduled to show up then I would need to cancel my appointment. Obviously, Angi's is not only incapable of providing home assistance, they also can't read. They responded that they were sorry I had to cancel my appointment and charged me $29.00. My attempts to have this refunded have been ignored. Angi's is pretty close to a scam; at least from my experience.
Mr. Anthony Garcia of DryMaster's carpet cleaners did an excellent job cleaning my family room carpet and a chair and loveseat. Mr. Garcia was thorough and took great care in cleaning carpet and chairs. One area of the carpet, a path from family room to kitchen, was particularly worn and dark looking. Mr. Garcia asked me to send a photo of the worn area when we discussed the project prior to cleaning. He was able to determine that it could be cleaned successfully, as indeed it was. Looking at the area now, it appears just the same as the rest of the cleaned carpet -- no worn or dark area. The whole carpet looks brighter and fresher, very similar to how it looked when new. It had been many years, probably at least 10, since the carpet had been professionally cleaned. I definitely would recommend Mr. Garcia for any carpet and upholstery cleaning. And I will be hiring him again for additional carpet cleaning. Thank you.
I had a horrible experience as the contacter did not show even after I spoke with him on the phone and shared text messages with him twice! To top that off, our credit card got charged for the no show appointment and we had to wait several days to see the credit reimbursement! I do not recommend this service at all!
Angi's helped me to find Tony's Sons Moving. They did a fantastic job at a great price! I would definitely use them again for future moves. And I would definitely search Angi's to find other help I might need. Thanks!
I was contacted the same day I placed my request. And the next day had a representative from Redeemed Construction at my home to discuss the project. Andrew listened to what I wanted done. Th results were beyond my expectations.
I have attempted to hire a contractor to remove a tree that is dead and trim two others. I have attempted to contact the "Have we've matched you with professionals in your area" and I had one come out and then no show for the job after saying he would be back the next day. Two who said we'll be out to give you a quote then what a surprise, no show. One contractor no show twice. So for what it is worth don't bother with ANGI, she's worthless. I would give no stars but that was not an option.
Tip for consumers:
I wish you offered a zero-star review process. This company does not vet the contractors.
I like to read reviews from other customers. Whether the reviews are positive or negative, they are always informative. The details allow me to anticipate my satisfaction with a particular service provider. Of course, the more positive reviews, the better.
This company is just as bad as any scammer out there. They provided leads for a service our company doesn't offer. When I spoke with Brittney S. About listening to the recording to verify that I did not include siding in our list of services, I was told that they do not share their recorded calls and that only a select few in the company actually listen to the calls.
Instead of crediting our company for the 7 leads that we're sent for a service we do not offer, I was told that on the recording I requested siding.
This shows the lack of integrity within this company.
While I'm happy to leave a review, I absolutely did not like being forced to sign up. Not a good first impression of Angi.
What else will I be forced to do?
I will most definitely de-activate my account, but thought it was necessary to let you know that it is pretty messed up.
If you live in the New River Valley, Roanoke area or within zip code *******, I would highly recommend Christian Bishop for any home repair, upgrades or any electrical work needed.
As a retired educator, I have used Mr. Bishop several times for personal projects and also he did excellent work for two organizations which I am a member.
Our organizations were pleased with his professionalism, his details to work, very reliable and his concerns to customer satisfaction.
I would highly recommend a man with quality work habits and reasonable prices.

These are the words that describe the work performed by Top Notch Roofing when they replaced our asphalt shingle roof in July, 2022. And, they are super nice people. We heartily recommend Top Notch Roofing!
We signed up with Angi 6 months ago. We never received a lead that pertained to our business. We have paid them $3,000 and have not gotten one job from them. When we tried to cancel our account there is no call back email back. I have emailed them at least 10 times and have called them 10 times. Worst company ever. I am completely disappointed with this company.
I contacted Angi, Dennis Godwin contacted me promptly, we set a date, he replaced a door for me. It's the first time I have ever hired anyone who worked efficiently and effectively and didn't ask for my help. Very happy to have him as a resource!
We ordered an item through Wayfair and added assembly for a flat rate. The booking was scheduled for tomorrow but the sub-contractor called because he doesn't want to follow through with the booking. He shared feedback that Angi doesn't pay fair wages and said if we wanted to continue we would need to book him outside of Angi and pay his personal service fee. He's been doing this all week and would need to cancel the appointment on our end. We called Wayfair to resolve this who transferred us to an Angi rep who transferred us to a third person. All of whom didn't communicate with each other resulting in us needing to repeat ourselves several times. We're still waiting for a resolution. This place offers terrible customer service who apparently doesn't believe in fair wages.
Angi's List customer service will only provide a first name of the contractor. You cannot get the full name, company name, address or real contact phone number of the contractor. As a single woman, I am not comfortable letting a contractor in my home that I have no contact information about. Angi's List does provide a phone number for the contractor, but it is uniquely set up for that contractor and is only a message drop box active 24 hours before the job. In my case the contractor did not return my call.
Additionally, if you call Angi's list the customer service agents work from a script and don't necessarily tell the truth. In my case. One of the agent's tried to reassure me that the contractor was from my zip code. I live in rural area with a population of approximately 1,200 in my zip code. When I pointed that out, he said that he was indeed "mistaken" and the contractor was from another area.
Good lord! Where do I begin? Angi won't even send you the full name or phone number of the person who they have picked to come and do your work! I got a fake phone # that connected to his real number just a day ahead of time. This is absolutely bizarre. I couldn't see reviews of this workman or anything about his company. All was opaque. It's official: I hate Angi.

I was very impressed with the quality of the work completed by J. P. George and Sons. They were on time, polite and easy to work with throughout the 2-day project that was backed by MassSave. This project was large and they crawled into every nook and cranny to air-seal the attic, including a chase around the chimney. After using foam chutes to ensure ventilation in the eaves, and constructing appropriate dams of fiberglas bats wherever necessary, cellulose insulation was blown-in to bring the R-value up to current standards. One new roof cap was installed to improve the ventilation efficiency for one bathroom fan. Attic hatches were insulated and the basement rim joists were also air-sealed, as well as the basement chase around the chimney. They were tidy, no mess left behind, and even came back (i. E,. Joe) on a separate day to double check one basement area. Blower-door tests were done before, during and after the work was completed. I fully recommend J. P George & Sons
