Roman and Alex did a great job with my move. They were efficient and careful with my items. The price was fair and the service was excellent
I scheduled a duct/vent cleaning service through Angi last week. I wanted them to pick the contractor, just a qualified person, and they gave me a reasonable quote. I accepted. I got a confirmation of a match (the first on Friday October 4 at 8:41 am) for today - October 10, at 8 am. Later that same day, I got a second confirmation at 5:12 pm. I was puzzled at this, but OK. On Monday, October 7, I got a third confirmation at 11:55 am. Puzzled, I went online and looked at my booking, and yes, there was the named contractor - I sent him a message basically just acknowledging that I knew he was my contractor. All looked fine - and I spent a lot of time on Tuesday moving furniture and other stuff so there was clear access to every vent, vacumed each room, cleared pathways from any doorway they might need to use, etc. At 6:15 am - I get a text that my booking starts at 8:00 am. Then at 7:30 am, I get a text message that "unfortunately we were unable to match you with a top-rate pro for your service... we have rescheduled you for Sunday October 13 at 3 pm...". Thirty minutes notice that NO ONE was going to show for an appointment confirmed right through yesterday. I cancelled that booking, and now they won't let me write an honest review, because I didn't actually "hire" the contractor! So my honest review goes here. I will hire someone else, because Angi has wasted a good bit of my time, and I have no confidence at all that anyone will show up on Sunday either.
Don't give them your phone number. You get calls from all over the country from middlemen looking to make a buck to do nothing. I wouldn't recommend them. You don't know what you're getting. You're not getting any body local.
Angi makes it so easy to assemble a list of qualified and competitive contractors. I have used the service a few different times in the past couple of years and have always been happy with the results.
RAY from residential bath just left with a bathtub chip of an inch and a half and a nail sized chip in the sink repaired. I couldn't find where those areas were that he repaired due to the professional color match that RAY did. I highly recommend Residential Bath to anyone who needs bathroom porcelain repair.
Locked me into a year of junk calls and nothing but headaches. Was impossible to get out of it. I made MAYBE $100 and lost thousands! I am a small business and nearly went bankrupt due these chuckleheads. They couldn't help a small business success if their life depended on it!
Tip for consumers:
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT do business with these people.

I used "Angie's List" to try and expand my business with their small business advertising package.
These guys are a bunch of lying, cheating, stealing scam artists. When I reluctantly signed up, the guy told me I would only pay for the leads I responded to and we're accepted. Then sent me on my way. These scammers screwed me out of almost a thousand dollars even though I never even opened any of the leads. 1 month of bs fake leads with absolutely no information on them for almost a thousand dollars. They took all the rest of my money for the month. Then when I contact them they ghost me and don't answer the phone. Then when I finally get through they tell me they will refund me because it's in the 31 day probation period. Then when I call back they change it to a 3 day probation period.
Angi leads is a scam, it may work for some but beware they will not work with you in any way.
$#*! them.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use them!! It's a scam!!

Nothing. They screwed me.
We have lived in an older home that was built by the previous owner and many aspects needed some TLC. The gravel driveway was no exception. We had used Google for years and many of the contractors we hired were... less than professional. We finally found a company that did the job we needed at a price we could afford and the results were actually better than we could have asked for in good conscience. I plan to use Angi to look for and hire contractors for all future jobs. Thank you Angi!
Went to website and filled out all required info and at the end it said it cannot help me. Later I got a call from a representative saying they can help me and I told them about the projects I have and we spent almost an hour going over everything (was hard to understand them). They said they had limited contractors in the area and would email me a list and I thanked them and waited. A few days later I called because I didn't receive anything and a rep said they don't email people and I need to download an app. I asked what was the point of the call and she said she called to see if I needed any work done…. I then asked why did they call if they cannot help me and wasted my time if I needed to download an app.
Just stay away from angi. They used to be homeadvisor and they were a complete scam also. Ask friends and family for suggestions or check google reviews.
Angi is a complete waste of time.
Tip for consumers:
Nope, just avoid them.
At the end of the job another fee showed up that had nothing to do with the contract. I called the company but no one answered. I left messages but no one returned my calls. I had to pay the extra money in cash. I will not be doing any business with Angi ever again. PS the work was 75%, I had to pay the full amount plus. NOT HAPPY!
I hope that Angie's (former Angie's List) no longer advertises Drs. I found a dr on Angie's List a few years ago who no one would want for their Dr. if they knew the facts about this Dr. This dr has been CONVICTED. And the worst crimes are not in the indictment.
Please be leary of any such company who advertises for Drs they know nothing about.
So we had a portrait hung by Nathen Grayye a little while ago and he was great! I'm sure we could have figured out how to do it ourselves but being as though the entire portion is glass we wanted some professional help. He was prompt, remained in touch and was very pleasant. It wasn't like hiring a contractor to just come out and do a job and go home. It was kind of like having a friend come by and he just so happened to hang this portrait
Anthony Taylor was scheduled to do some
Plumbing work he calls to cancel and shows up four hours later to do work and wants to charge me 5x than what Anji had quoted me. His number is two six seven. Nine six eight. Sixty one ninety five. *******195. Anjilist indicated that he would be blacklisted from seeing future jobs I submit. I am putting out the warning now he is looking to fleece you. Please beware of this individual. Not trustworthy at all.

My attorney Mr. Josh Anderson and his assistant Jill Prather with Dudley DeBosier were so amazing. They really care about their clients always either calling me or emailing me to see how I'm doing, as well as letting me know where things are with my case. If your looking for well professional lawyers I highly recommend Mr. Josh Anderson and Mrs. Jill Prather. They have made my experience with Dudley DeBosier the best. They are a excellent team and very hard workers. Thank you so much Mr. Josh and Mrs. Jill for everything you have done for me you guys ROCK!
I purchased a dresser from Walmart.com along with assembly. I received a confirmation from Angi that a provider would be at my home at a specific date & time that was before the dresser was scheduled to be delivered. No problem changing the assembly date until the provider canceled 30 minutes before the appointment & Angi automatically rescheduled (went from Saturday morning at 10:00 to a Tuesday night at 7:00). Not ok! I rescheduled that appointment that also didn't happen due to 'computer error'. Finally was able to get the job done (Angi gave the job to a company called Handy) and after complaining about all the hassle & changes, was offered a $25 Walmart gift card that never showed up. In following up, I was transferred to literally 5 different departments, spoke with supervisors and attempted calling back 3 times before giving up. The $25 wasn't worth my time - it was the principle! Will never contract with Angi again!
We recently had Jordan Roofing come out to assess our roof for replacement. Jason Trevathan & Christine Cook came out and checked our roof thoroughly and gave us our options. We decided to check with our insurance company and Jason & Christine came when the insurance adjuster was there and spent a very long time with him going over damage. We ended up getting the roof covered by our insurance. Jason and Christine were extremely knowledgeable about the many options available and the advantages of each option. They were friendly, easy to talk to, and easy to understand. They are like having a friend in the roofing industry. The quality that Jordan Roofing puts in their jobs is impressive. If you have roofing needs take the time to call Jordan Roofing and ask for Jason & Christine. They service the DFW metro as well as Cedar Creek Lake area as well as many surrounding areas. If you want quality workmanship, you will be glad you called them.
I had yhis service for one week, in that week they sent me three wrong leads, i called to cancel my service and was told i could not get my $288.00 back but i had to pay for the incorrect leads. They put my account on hold to justify stealing my money even after i requested a cancelation of my account and a refund multiple times. The company is a complete scam
It took a number of weeks before anybody from Angie even called me and returned emails. If you need something done in a timely manner Angies report card gets a "D". When contractors finally agreed to come to our home and give estimates, all estimates for a small 6x10 front porch were over $10,000.00! Some even at $15,000.00! For a small front porch! Nothing fancy or complicated about it. Covid contractors abound! Now searching for just a skilled dude that wants to work. Angies list is great if you want to wait 6 or more months and pay 300% over the fair and customary price. Will go with concrete block and boards for a few hundred.
Tip for consumers:
Only go with an Angie referral if you have a fat wallet and plenty of time.
Now i now why Angie's stock is so low priced... Just spent over 15 minutes on there site being askedpersonal questions and information that was not necessary... At the end they had my unlisted phone number, which I did not give them and then sent me 3 different names of companies which did not specialize in redoing marble bathrooms and plumbing... It was so off the Mark. IThen then requested they set up emails and appts with them. Crazy unethical web site-all over the Map. My background is in architectural home design... I would never use this unprofessional site again. Felt like they were interviewing me for a job... They could really need some help. So much selling up front..
Highly recommend NOT using Angi formerly Angies List. These guys send out a non licensed guy to do some electrical work, install some outlets. The guy spent 12 hours and dint complete the job. After paying for the parts the guy ended up taking some of the parts i. E. wire and breakers with him when he left the house@2330. Now to get your money from HomeAdvisor or Angi you have to submit multiple claim forms, then you have to fill out an affidavit and get it notarized and sent back to be considered to get your money back. Look at the pictures you can see a little metal on metal action and they also got wired backwards so had I turned on power that could have been bad. HomeAdvisor / Angie's List is a scam
These dudes are straight crooks.

This company is owned by the same parent company that runs dating sites and have no clue what small business owners need. They are unethical in their business practices, locking you into long term expensive contracts. They auto renew without your approval and then threaten to destroy your reputation if you don't pay. They won't let you out of your contract for any reason even if you go out of business. Their customer service sucks especially after Angie's List and Home Advisor merged to become Angi. The leads aren't worth what you have to pay for them. Stay away. Porch, Craftjack, Thumbtack are all much better options.
3rd and last attempt on using angie; figured it was better then last year.
1. Last year; scheduled pro was confirmed; and then "last second cancellations" 4 times in row.
2. Last year; schedule pro for deck remodel. Can down for quote and then never showed up after initial call.
3. Today; booked lawn server 1 week in advance for father's day; have people coming over for holiday. 2 hours before service they cancelled due to "last second pro cancellation".
4. The nail in the coffin; Customer service is just like "welp, not my problem, you shouldn't of used us"
Overall unreliable service that you cannot depend on with a awful "who cares" customer service approach.
Please be careful when looking for contractors on Angi.com. Since you have to include all your contact information immediately, the hounding begins almost at once. It was so bad I had to block most of the numbers on my phone because it was so constant. Also, even though i specifically indicated what I was looking for, I received suggested contractors that weren't doing the work I asked about. I won't use this site again. I did so much better on my own and ended up getting our master bath completed remodeled with a few weeks by an amazing company. Trust your gut. You may be better on your own.
If I could've put zero stars I would have. They book a repair, but have to wait until someone in their network accepts the job. I took Sat off to be here when the appt was scheduled. It was only after 30 minutes after the scheduled time, and after calling customer service, that they informed me that no one had accepted the job. Poor customer service (why wasn't I informed), poor business model (how about you schedule the appt AFTER someone accepts the job?). Total waste of my time. Useless, go somewhere else.
They dropped the "e's" and "list" but they also dropped the ability to shop around and gather information before committing with a description and address. The service it once provided is gone. I'm very disappointed. Google is a bigger help. Bye Angi.
Watch your money! Do not in any circumstance use the prepay method. They DO take the money out of your account BEFORE the job is done even though when you sign up for the job they tell you they won't. If you don't cancel the job 2 hours before, they only reimburse 50%. The siding contractor did not contact me and did not show up. I will not use this company again.
I just want a list of providers to review in my own time. I want to pick who to contact or not. I don't want answering services to call me. I want potential providers to answer the question I post in the request, otherwise I'm wasting my time and theirs. I don't want Anji's asking me how the job is moving along so soon after my search. Nothing happens that fast in my world.
