I have spent several thousand dollars at this store online the past 3 months furnishing a new home. After my last purchase, while awaiting the arrival of the merchandise, I noticed a sheet set was now for salle at at lesser price.
I contacted customer service, they didn't even read my email and said they can't "coupon stack." I resent email restating problem... 2nd email says."we cannot coupon stack." I wrote back telling them I just wanted a credit or adjustment to my credit card and please forward to a supervisor. One week later... NO RESPONSE! (Had similar problem at OVERSTOCK.COM and was resolved in one day - they honored lower price!) Was that too much to ask of Anthropologie?
Apparently, yes and this is one customer with discretionary dollars who will take her business elsewhere!
Gave Anthropologie another shot after banning buying from them for years. Much to my shock, they are not better but worse. Called kiting funds when the Co. Uses the $$ for 7days when Co's that are fluid process returns 1-2 days. Had to call, call my bank to get $291.21 returned. Horrid Customer Service, they should close their stores in the US & stay in UK. Overpriced, understaffed & everyone should read reviews & ban shopping with this Co. We the buyer are being duped if we ever step foot in a store. Lesson re-learned. I will spread the word once again.
I purchased a $2500 bed from Anthropologie three months ago. Delivery was finally scheduled for yesterday. We broke down the bed we had, cleared out our room and got our kids out of the bed at 7am because of COVID.
They left us with half a bed a phone number to call.
I have spent hours calling and sitting on hold, spoke to several people who directed me elsewhere, emailed Customer Service (with no reply), tried online chat all to be told to call back or try another number. I don't know what is happening. How is the world is this okay?
I bought a blouse online but it was too large. I returned it to the store but when I received my refund, I saw they charged me a return fee! Since when do stores charge a return fee if you return it to the store?!
Greedy scam, I won't buy anything else from them even in the store. I only do business with reputable companies that care about their customers and treat them fairly.
I exchanged emails with customer service regarding a discount that needed to be applied. They urged me to place the order online and promised to apply the discount once completed. It has been 2 months, and several chasing emails - the discount has not materialised.
Anthropologie has the absolute WORST CS of any Store I have EVER called in my life! Absolutely HORRENDOUS! ANNNND there is no higher Dept you can call when this HORRIBLE, so called, CS fails You! I don't expect everywhere to be as good as Nordstrom, but this is worse than the Dollar Tree! It's enough to make you NOT shop ANTRO, or FP! How do they stay in business with this % kind of CS!
I «chatted with their customer service team about an item I wanted to send back. I asked about shipping and they told me to send it back, keep my receipt and reach back out to get reimbursed. I thought this was fine, more of a hassle than any other company but fair enough. I did as they said and when I reached back to get the reimbursement, they denied it even after I provided them with the documented conversation of their collègue approving this. I have this far tried calling them, I have been hung up on twice and then I tried using their online chat function in which I was disconnected. They make so much money for overly priced items, the least they can do is follow up on their word.
I have ordered item from them on 7/12. The product page stated that it would be delivered within 3-5 days.
After about 4-5 days I have recevied email that order was shipped with the tracking number provided. Not quick turnaround but ok, everyone are busy now during peak season. After another 2 days I have checked tracking and I found the parcel has not even been picked by the carrier, so I decided to contact them then.
For my first contact email which was my reply to their order confirmation (so all order details were included), they have replied after about 3-4 days that I have not provided order number in my message so they are not able to find my order, so I have replied to them with my order number which was included anyway in my first message. Then after another few days of waiting they have replied that my order is delayed. Wow! Thanks for telling me that as otherwise I wouldn't be aware of this! They have said it will take another few days to investigate.
Today is 19/12 and order is still not delivered. I have contacted their support several times and they only reply with few days delay plus their replies are a good joke.
I really regret ordering with them. The product I ordered was a Christmas present which is unlikely to be delivered before Christmas, so will seek for full refund which will cause me wasting even more time fighting with them for a refund now.
I have had it with Anthropologie. They are so unreliable. I've purchased 7 items in the last 6 weeks and none of the items purchased have been delivered. Their online system is not able to discern what they have in stock. They have offered to credit my card for purchases that were not delivered. How very generous not to charge me for undeliverable items.
Went to an Anthropologie store today to return an item I purchased at a promotional price. The woman at the register said it was a final sale and that final sale items are nonreturnable.
I was already well aware of Anthro's new, stringent return policy after being burned by it when they started implementing it in August. As a result, I have been more than careful to never buy a 'final sale' item ever again (which, per their policy, refers to any sale item that is further discounted, aka "sale-on-sale").
Clearly, this was not the case with the item I was attempting to return -- for I had double and triple checked that it was not a final sale when I purchased it. Still this sales woman was adamant.
So, either Anthropologie sneakily changed their policy again or this employee was horribly confused. Whatever the case, Anthropologie's once terrific return policy has become arbitrary and subject to interpretation by whomever happens to behind the register.
Answer: Easy to get ahold of- but expect rudeness and complete lack of caring from 95% of the employees.
