I ordered a framed, 30" x 40" canvas piece from Art.com early in Jan '21. My order arrived 12 days later. It was packaged well and easy to install with the included the hardware. It looks very nice on our bedroom wall (see photo). It also has a nice frame.
The product I got was digitally stretched vertically out of proportion. It does NOT match the website or the original artwork. When I complained, they said it matches and they expect me to pay for return shipping. Spent $450 and got something that I cannot live with. What a waste of time and money!
I ordered the famous picture of the dogs playing poker with a "nice frame" for around $100 and a terrible print arrived that looks like it came out of an old Xerox machine and the matte borders inside the frame were completely lopsided to one side. I complained and they offered to replace it with a new one and to just "keep the bad one or give it away" since it's obviously worthless. The new one they shipped was also lopsided but not quite as bad. A TOTAL ripoff IMO. Would NEVER order from them again.
I don't know what happened to this company. They have old reviews that are good but I should have read the recent ones before placing my order. My framed print was a no-show and when I reached out to them they said it would be at least 3 days before they could determine what happened and that it was likely discontinued. I don't know why they had to wait for me to contact them to tell me this. I would have ordered something else. Then I read all the poor quality reviews and simply canceled my order. I am not willing to spend almost $1k on a bad print.
I purchased a 30x36 framed print. I love the selection but paid $200+ for this print and the hanger on the back on the framed print was so off center. For the price of these framed prints that should be quality checked prior to shipment. It caused me much effort to make it work and it was so unnecessary.
Avoid this useless website. They took me money and did not send the package
Things got worse when I contacted their customer service
1st Customer service agent was appalingly useless and lied to me. He said I would receive an email confirmation that I never got. The second one kept telling me to wait and took ages to finally tell me that he had no clue where the package was. Both told me that I would be reimbursed for the order that has not arrived yet. The Third one told me I had to wait even longer (20 days after the expected delivery date) before I could complain and ask for my money back.
I am still waiting for both the order and the refund... AVOID
I was told I would get a discount if I signed up for email. The discount was not applied. I engaged the online chat. The online chat said they would make the adjustment. They did not ask for the order number. NOW the online chat says, "Well, you did not provide us with an oder number..." Ridiculous. The discount was false advertising. Don't believe what they tell you on price!
In April, I ordered 3 complimentary prints with non glare glass. One print came, with 2 being backordered. When the other two finally came, they did not have non glare glass. Art.com said they would resend the two framed incorrectly. A week later they email and say they can no longer get the prints and therefore can not fulfill the order. So I had to return the one that was framed correctly.
Now, I have order three different complimentary prints. Received one, and the other two are backordered. Yesterday was told the backordered would ship on 6/4 or 6/5. Today I am being told they won't ship until 6/13. Who wants to take a bet they will come in wrong?
This company needs to stop selling what they cannot deliver!
I ordered 2 Mondrian prints, each was supposed to be framed in a Metropolitan frame. One came in the correct frame and the other didn't, even though the packing slip said it was.
Short version is, I had to provide a picture of the print in the wrong frame and tell them whether I wanted a replacement or refund. I chose a replacement since they were to be a grouping (and the red trim in the frame complemented the colors in the prints so well), and then got an email saying that they were out of stock on "certain components of the item" and couldn't guarantee shipment for another week, and to let them know whether I wanted to wait or cancel. I chose to wait.
We'll see what happens next.
My advice is, if you're ordering multiple items, don't assume they'll all be what you want, or that you'll get a replacement very soon when they aren't.

Wouldn't be as vivid on canvas but was pleasantly surprised when I received them. I had a great experience with a Customer Service employee. I actually got a real person to talk to. She was great. I got my pics sooner then I expected. Barb Pinson, Virginia.
An item I ordered was shipped along with one I never ordered. Following this I sent an e-mail advising the company of the error, and I was advised that the entire order would be reshipped. I called in an attempt to correct this and the customer rep. That I spoke to was rude and dismissive.
Her attitude was unacceptable!. Moreover wait time on the telephone exceeded 15 minutes
I ordered 2 canvas pictures there were supposedly left by Fedex on my front door (no signature required). When I got back home after Christmas break, they weren't there. I called Art.com and let them know the situation and they expedited 2 new pictures out right away. I couldn't be happier and feel they're a standup company that went the extra mile for me. Highly recommend!
I ordered about $700 worth of framed artwork (8 items). Five of them were in the same frame to be hung as a grouping. One of the frames on these five items came with significant damage. It took me five emails and 3 phone calls to get them to agree to replace it after I sent them a picture of the damage. Then I received another email saying the print was no longer available and therefore they were issuing a refund. Problem with this is that the print wasn't damaged, the frame was. They were unwilling to let me send it to them and have them reframe it or to send framing materials so I could, at my own expense, have it framed locally. So now my plans to hang these five items in a grouping all with the same frames cannot be achieved. They could have been helpful, but I guess they are not that kind of business. Will not purchase from them again.
I ordered and paid for non glare glass for my print. It came with acrylic not sure what grade. Quality of print is not that of the giclee process.
Lastly the package came with bugs in it. I found two of them hopefully there are not more in my home.
I read other horrible reviews AFTER I placed my art.com order but. The print I bought is hard to find and I was holding hope that reviews were wrong.
It is hung in my house. Not worth the trouble to try to return. But WON'T USE THIS SITE AGAIN.

What i received did not look anything like the website photo. It does not look like a picture, it is doll and terrible quality. I thought I share so people ordering from this site know what to expect.

I ordered a piece of art on April 17 and paid the shipping to get it to me in a week as I was moving out of state. I did not receive any notification that the piece broke and would need to be reshipped delaying when I would receive it. When I called, they said it would ship immediately and still make my deadline... it didn't. I moved and called again and her only solution was to cancel my order and re-order it at full cost (I had previously used a coupon). After5 6 weeks and nearly 10 attempts at trying to resolve the issue with the same answer being, "it will ship in 24 hours", it never shipped. When asked for a full refund on June 1, Martin said that was not possible... I asked to speak to a supervisor and finally got a brief email stating they would refund me in 5-7 business days... no apology, nothing!
I would suggest other companies such as minted, desenio, etc. This was the worst experience I've encountered with any company.

I ordered a print and ordered it to be matted and framed. I ordered it on 12/12/18 and was told on my receipt it would be delivered on 12/21/18, just in time for Christmas. On 12/21/18, I checked the status of my order and found out it had not even shipped because some of the components were not available. I wasn't notified it would be late. Art.com could not even tell me when it would be completed and delivered. It was my first and last time I made a purchase with Art.com. Upon my request, Art.com did cancel my order and said I would see the refund on my statement in 5 days.
I received an email for a $25 discount off my first order three days later I went to go purchase some thing and they won't give me the discount but the email says it's good for 30 days I've been with two different customer service people one of them told me where they don't use any coupons the other one said that it's only for the first time so because I didn't use it the day I got it it's no longer valid total scammers
Purchased a canvas on sale for $224. I received my item, and 2 days later they have another sale and the same item is $174. I call them to ask for a price adjustment. They tell me they dont do that. So I tell them that I have a 30day return privilege and if I return it, I wont rebuy it. They dont care! Then I emetic customer service, same request. I get back an email saying that a supervisor will contact me. Two days go by and I still dont hear from them, so I email again. No response. Im sending back the picture, and I wont do business with them again.
I ordered 4 Prints on May 7th with an estimated delivery of May 14th. On May 16th I received an update saying that my order was delayed with no estimated delivery date. I contacted three people in customer service and not one of them could tell me if the delay would be days, weeks or months. I asked if they were still printing at all and they said yes, but my order had not yet been printed. Today I contacted them again and they said they were printed, but they had no estimated ship date. I understand that these are difficult times, but every other company I order from hasn't had issues. I cannot believe they can't even estimate a ship date.
Ordered a canvas 30x40, obviously sent defective print. Had large areas where the print didn't take so just left white splotches. They did send a replacement and the new print wasn't much better. After the order we received constant spam and actually found another print we liked and was on sale for a really great price so we gave them another chance. Customer service told us the price quoted on their website was a mistake but they would still honor it. Received emails saying the print was on the way. A week later received an email saying this print can't be made into a canvas so they're cancelling our order! Yet the print still shows on their website that it's available in canvas? Also they will not answe our emails. NEVER AGAIN! SCAMMERS!

I ordered two large items one of them received was totally the wrong item, I returned it as instructed in pkg rcvd. Then emailed CS just as a backup, they advised to take a photo of the wrong item send it to them and then "donate" the wrong item as I see fit and they would refund the purchase. I advised I had already returned the item and was then advised I would not get a refund until wrong item was received. After two more emails, and more than 8 weeks... STILL NO REFUND! I will not do business with Art.com ever again. - 2 stars is my review.
We shopped a print on canvas as a gift for our mother. Several sites had the one we wanted for less money but none would deliver in time for Mother's day. Art.com was a few bucks more but had free shipping and promised delivery 3 days before Mother's day. They lied. After confirming the order and estimating delivery by May 6 (same as their listing) we began tracking the order. It didn't ship so I contacted Customer Service and explained my need for delivery before May 9th. Within a few hours I received an email saying that it shipped but wouldn't be there until the 8th. I continued to track it and the date slipped to the 9th. Today it says the 10th. I don't know when it will arrive but whenever it does, it will be too late. They promise delivery to get the order and then they don't care anymore.

Read the reviews. Art.com is terrible. Never buying from them again. Was told I would have it by December 21st, now it's December 31st, with no explanation or option given to expedite shipping.
ACK! Doesn't remember/expired by password. Sign up with new password. ERROR! Sign in with FB, doesn't have any of my past orders, try again...ERROR! Going to Hobby Lobby. Forget it.

I have several issues with this website
- they are always on 40-50% discount - do not pay anything full price ever
- the packaging though is not on discount and is very expensive making the whole thing much more expensive than other places
- they added an additional VAT charge (which Fed Ex passed to me as it went through customs) - despite me using the "UK version" of the website
- overall the picture is reasonable quality and the frame seems fine
I've ordered 4 or 5 times and probably $2000 worth of framed prints over the years. They do have great selection and options for frames, which is the only reason why I keep trying. My first 2 orders were large, bulky framed b&w prints. I think 5 items on total. Every one of them were smashed on delivery. It took 3 re-makes and re-deliveries to get them to me without damage. Last year when I bought my new house, I ordered a large framed print to go over the fireplace and a couple of smaller prints. The large print, the hanging wire was screwed right at the edge of the frame and it ripped out as soon as I hung it. Last week, I bought another 2 prints. Both with glass. One was delivered with glass, the other with acrylic. The online chat with George, confirmed that I ordered glass. He kept referring to "acrylic glass" when it's not the same. Ended up, after an hour of chat and his attempts to confuse me - just ended up demanding to return them both. They finally refunded both items. I'd love to get what I pay for but art.com just gets it wrong, every - single - time. It's my last order with them. So much for supporting American businesses.
