I had purchase tickets for myself and my family with ASAP for several years now. The sales department is good and efficient, but not the customer service department or the complaint department.
I purchased tickets through ASAP in January from Atlanta to Guatemala for March 28th with DL. Because of the virus, Guatemala closed its borders in February and subsequently DL has canceled all flights to Guatemala.
My friend bought the same ticket directly with DL and DL has provided her a refund with no penalties three weeks ago. Because I purchased the tickets through ASAP, DL told me that ASAP needs to make the transaction. DL assured me that since this is not my fault, DL is not charging penalties and is providing whole refunds.
ASAP is answering all sales related phone calls very quickly, but when i call the customer service department it takes one hour to get through just to talk to someone who can not make any decisions. I am patient and have been calling since February, but all I get is that I have to wait a few weeks.
I finally received an email this week to let me know that because i canceled the flight, DL will charge me penalties, which is absolutely not true. I can't ever reach the person in ASAP who sent me the email by email or phone.
I understand we are all living a very difficult situation, but you can't answer your sales calls fast and not your customer service calls. And very importantly, you can't provide false information to your customers. I have more tickets that I bought from ASAP for June and I am afraid this might continue. I will never purchase from you again.

To all who read this review, PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A TICKET with this agency. They seem very professional and very nice at first but once you run into trouble with an airline-THEY'RE NOT ONLY NO HELP BUT THEY ARE THE MOST INCOMPETENT PEOPLE EVER! We had an issue with American Airlines about boarding and we never got to board. It was AA fault because they had insisted that Korea needed a visa for our transit stay which is not true because I have 2 emails from Korean Consulate that it is not needed at all. So we asked the agency to fight for a 100% refund of our $7700 tickets. All they do is pass us from one person to another and now it's going on 2 months waiting for them to let us know their progress. Yes they have updated us on progress- but if you call their typical email saying that they're working on the refund as progress (several emails with close to this type of wording), then they need to make sure they understand what that word means. PLEASE ALL BEWARE, DO NOT PURCHASE A TICKET WITH THEM! They don't even document our complaint or our issue and so you have to repeat your explanation over and over again. Most of the agents don't even know their protocols- they're either passing me in to customer service or escalating services. If I could give them a zero rating, I would. SO PLEASE DONT PUT YOUR MONEY THT YOU WORKED HARD FOR, on buying a ticket for this agency. YOU WILL DEEPLY REGRET IT!
