Bought a sweater and a cardigan, frankly the price was very cheap and the pictures looked good. The actual items received were good, but they don't last. The sweater lost its shape after one wash, and the cardigan seems to be polyester, which easily gets static electricity.
Bought a pair of Dr Marten shoes which are supposed to be one of the best for leather and longevity. When the shoes arrived they were farrrrr from new! They were battered! They had clearly been worn for several weeks and returned or worn by an ASOS member of staff that decided to exchange their battered pair for my new pair upon dispatch! I have attached photos as the shoes' battered state on delivery have to be seen to be believed! AVOID this company, they no longer care about their customers.
I was hoping to find a legit clothing site, but all I found was another scam site with same mental attitude, but way more expensive. WOW, how do they get away with it. We should all start an on line shopping site offering "JUNK" and no return policy. We'd all be rich... LOL
I usually don't review businesses, but after too many bad experiences with ASOS I won't hesitate to do so. I've placed my order more than 2 months ago, after failing to arrive the first 2 times, one of the items I ordered was already out of stock, that was really unacceptable! After that they sent the order again, and they kept pushing the deadline until it never arrived. The customer service team is just unprofessional and not ready to handle customer requests and issues at all! They keep customers waiting for months until the order never arrives, and they steal the money. Shame

Broken tracking - doesn't work, no record of package. Customer service keeps asking me to wait every time I message them. Week at a time. Their fb chat (messenger) never gets answered, I have messages there from a year ago that still haven't been answered. Their twitter doesn't get answered. Neither do emails or and their website chat doesn't work 99% of the times. A nightmare of an experience!
Not sure about all the other reviews, but i have been shopping with asos for ever a year now, amazing quality clothes, decent prices, free returns, 2 day shipping to the US. I had a problem with a defect in an item, was a little annoying that i has to return a coat with the sleeve sewed shut, but they did give me a full refund when i returned it.

I recently purchased a prom dress for my daughter. We ordered 3 dresses and paid for the expedited shipping. The package arrived EARLIER than promised and each dress was beautiful. After selecting one, I returned the other two, FREE shipping! I was quickly credited the return amount to my Pay Pal account. Not sure what happened to those who reviewed negatively. I had a beyond expectations experience with this company.
I should have read previous reviews. I received a wrong size and reported this info to their 'customer support'... Was told that i can return the item, pay return shipping which will not be refunded... Even though the item is wrong and not what i ordered. There are many reviews on the ASOS product pages when people received wrong size - please be aware

Everytime I buy an item of clothing on here it arrives with something different. Whether it be the colour or the fact that a size 8/10 would only fit my niece who's 13! I've used them for years and now so disappointed and fed up! I'm a size 8/10 and the clothes never fit me properly!
I paid extra for express delivery. The dress never came, but the wedding I was going to wear it to did. I have contacted them multiple times to cancel my order and have been repeatedly told that a "specialist" is looking into it. Still no dress, no refund. Although their clothes are very fun and trendy, I will NEVER purchase from them again. I am out $130.00. An expensive lesson I will only need to learn once!
I feel stupid, I mean these people fools you completely and they are still shameless. I ordered a pair of sneakers, it's been almost 2 months and haven't received anything. I've done EVERYTHING in order to get an efficient answer but all what they've done is send me emails saying they're gonna contact me later. Please people don't do it. Don't waste your time, money and effort on things that are not worth some clothes.
Paid for something over a week ago on next day delivery and it's over a week late. They haven't bothered to offer a refund or replacement. And I still haven't received the item even though I was toLd it would definitely arrive today.
I ordered a super cool linen blazer from ASOS March 1. I received notification that it was shipped the next day. Well, it's been 3 weeks with no sign of my order and no tracking number was ever sent to me. Luckily I paid with Paypal and filed a dispute yesterday. Today, I receive a generic reply saying that they were sorry that I didn't receive my order and issued me a refund. There was never an attempt to provide the tracking number or the name of the shipper I had asked for, so it makes me question whether my item was ever sent in the first place. My advice to you, as with the others, is to just stay away from this retailer.

Pay with Paypal so you can get your money back in a timely fashion. Don't bother emailing them first. If you file a dispute with Paypal, they will have that on record so it will be much easier to escalate it if it comes down to that.
I will never shop from ASOS again. I ordered three dresses for an engagement session, and a package came 4 days later. Although my name was on the outside of the package, someone else's order was inside. Completely different items, with someone else's name and information on the return label. Tried contacting ASOS with no response (on fb, email, etc). Finally have to go through my credit card company to dispute the charge (which will take 90 days). BEWARE.
I recently ordered a blazer from ASOS, though, the delivery was quick, I was very disappointed with the product itself.
1) It smelled like perfume.
2) It was badly worn.
I'm highly upset by the situation I cannot believe I paid so much money for a blazer that I had no idea was used because nowhere on the website does it say used item. I am in the process of returning the item and based on previous reviews I anticipate a fight to get a refund. First and last purchase from this company.
This is the worst online store experience I had ever had when I went to check out I made sure it was free shipping and no added duties. However, when picking it up from the post office I was charged $150 for duties. I only purchased 3 items from them and ended up paying almost $300 I am absolutely outraged and will never shop here again. When I tried to contact ASOS about this they were absolutely no help. Do not buy from them unless you don't care about your money.
I have used ASOS on a number of occasions because they carry some good brands and they offer tall clothing, which can be difficult to find for women. However, their customer service is absolutely awful. I've had to use their chat boxes twice now and they are not helpful, and their service reps keep disconnecting during the time they investigate the issue. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I won't be shopping there any more.
When purchasing on the site they do not disclose custom fees until you go to the post office to pick it up.
As far as I am concerned don't waste your time here. You will end up paying way more than the item is worth.
I was told if I refuse the package it will take 1 month or more for the refund.

Customer service does respond via e-mail but that's the only positive thing I have to say. I ordered from them. They said it was shipped but they never sent a shipping code. The package never got delivered. And it took over 20 e-mail correspondences and over a month to get the refund. And even then, they didn't cover the loss due to the exchange rate change. Their prices are also higher than their competitors even if shipping is free. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
This experience has been horrible. I have contacted them via messenger and email and they are unable to stick to their word. One service agent told me I would receive the return cost of my shipment (otherwise I would have sold them myself) and they are refusing to give me the refund now. Pathetic excuses for "customer care", they sent me a mens shoe size in the pair I ordered. That was the first red flag. Never ordering from them again. (from Canada)
Their promo codes dont work. It's a scam. They made me put in my card to complete the order, even though I had a promo code, and then they charged the card instead of using the code at all. Then they offered that I could mail my package all the way back to them, receive a refund when they receive it, and re-order the item using this same faulty "promo" code.
How insensitive to scam someone who is already scraping along the bottom. I'm literally $5000 in debt, and I'm investing in a few new clothing items to improve my networking/job search results. And what does my supposed friend ASOS do? They STEAL $50 from me!

Do not order from this company. Do not be deceived by their incredible prices, styles and collaboration with YouTube beauty / style gurus. I order a pair of shoes from this site and it did not match the picture at all. The shoes did not have the same shape or color as advertised on the site. They provide you a label with 8 different reasons to indicate for a refund and because this is provided in my order, I am assuming that refunds to the site occur regularly and this allows them to process them faster. However, when I checked how much I would cost me to refund the shoes at my post office, the price was four times what I paid for the shoes itself. There is no contact information or customer service on the website to make inquires. Keep your money and buy things from other places. You have been warned.
Small items eg rings and chains are frequently missing from the list of items ordered, implying lackadaisical packaging effort... online chat seems to go offline for days and email responses are next to sluggish. Definitely not recommended
Nightmarish experience with making returns using collections. The instructions on their website led to only one of the parcels being collected. ASOS and the courier company they're partnered with gave updated unclear instructions which took a long time to figure out. Speaking to their customer support took it nowhere. The second time, the courier didn't turn up. I've been stuck with several parcels occupying the lounge for weeks now.
Never again. Dangerous, untrustworthy company.
Oh my goodness I was shocked to find so many negative reviews about asos. Ive been ordering for 5 years and they are amazing. I get two day free shipping to USA and they have quality items and free returns. How are all these people writing negative reviews? It has to be a competition issue, fake negative reviews. Do me a favor and order one small item and try them for your self. Shameful
I have used the company for a number of years and recommended them to friends... then it began. First order of 2016, didn't arrive, it took another three weeks for the refund to be made. Live Chat was polite but useless. I have a 24 hour concierge service in my building, and all packages have to be signed for... but ASOS didn't bother to say it was THEIR issue. Of course since the items were all sale items, nothing could be resent, except a pair of shoes in the wrong color. I gave up complaining and thought I will try again before my vacation. All sale items and once again... nothing. I contacted them and the same performance. This means two orders this year alone, nothing has been delivered.
Don't be fooled by free delivery... just be happy if you get ANY delivery.
I have ordered 2 dresses and 2 pairs of shoes from Asos. The first dress has a terrible chemical smell & I cannot hang it inside my home. After 5 days outside it still smells. I contacted Asos and they have not responded. I am forced to pay for return shipping to return a FAULTY clothing item at the tune of $22. Both pairs of shoes are fine if you like cheap plastic shoes. The second dress appears white in the photos but when it arrived it has a pink & green sheen to the sequins & I look like a 5 year old in it. No woman over the age of 12 would want to wear it. In order to return it, I am (again) having to pay $22 for return shipping. There is no where on their site that they allow for customer reviews of their products in order to forewarn other potential buyers - clearly deliberate on their part. Asos gets a big fat fail from me & I will not be making a purchase from them ever again.
