Bought a sweater and a cardigan, frankly the price was very cheap and the pictures looked good. The actual items received were good, but they don't last. The sweater lost its shape after one wash, and the cardigan seems to be polyester, which easily gets static electricity.
Bought a pair of Dr Marten shoes which are supposed to be one of the best for leather and longevity. When the shoes arrived they were farrrrr from new! They were battered! They had clearly been worn for several weeks and returned or worn by an ASOS member of staff that decided to exchange their battered pair for my new pair upon dispatch! I have attached photos as the shoes' battered state on delivery have to be seen to be believed! AVOID this company, they no longer care about their customers.
They came back to me and i am very pleased
Its been almost a month chasing ASOS
1. Did you received two wrong items?
2. When you are going to send my replacement size Item?
I got reply and get full refund, happy now :)
Delayed delivery with no reason. Unhelpful customer service. Told me to wait for another month after the estimate delivery date before they will start investigating the order. How did ASOS become so bad?
Tried to cancel my order 20 min after placing it! Even pleaded with agent on chat line. Got generic ''we understand your frustration and we are sorry we cannot help you''. This is why Asos will never become a big player in this game! I will never shop there again!
Excellent site, but enormous selection can be overwhelming and pricing can be on the higher side. Most of the time the clothes I order from here are good quality, but occasionally I've had some iffy experiences where the quality clearly did not match the pricing. But they have free returns, so no big deal. I also love their sales - in fact I have pretty much only purchased from them when there was a sale + coupons.
I've purchased at around 10+ times from ASOS for the past two years. Their customer service rocks too, since I've run into problems with two shipments before and these problems were resolved to my satisfaction each time.
Overall, very positive experience with the site. Pretty good selection, nice additions to the site (like fashion tips/pictures, etc).
It's all fine until one has an issue. Customer service must be run by a tyrant. LOL. Three shipments and I have not received the size as ordered. I understand this next is my issue, but I cannot stand returning items that I purchase online. ASOS demands that you find a drop off location for returns and I hate doing that. Sometime, if the company ships the wrong size, etc., then eat it; they should bear the expense and just send the correct item. It just isn't worth it. I'll never order again.
Tip for consumers:
You may or may not receive the item as ordered. They are horrible at shipping correct sizes.

Customer service representative refused to give me a refund called kainaat once I told her this is the third time I'm on this chat and I have been waiting over two weeks for my order and your issues are between you and carrier... she replied saying don't worry you will not be out o pocket very poor customer service after 3 times complain not once anyone offered an alternative or reassurance not even a solution to send me another order delivery! They kept telling me we investigating and no update this took half of the month of July! Never ever again I use asos and I will tell everyone how poor they are in terms of customer service
For orders ******* and *******, the money has not yet been returned to me. First, the certificates were sent by mistake, then they were canceled, then the money should have come to the card, but it never came, all the deadlines were out. I contacted the bank's support, they said that the refund was not received.
On another call, support simply ended the chat with me, without considering the merits of the issue. Disgusting work of the Russian-speaking Customer Care department. You steal money from customers who have been using your store for more than five years - are you not ashamed?
P.S.: In addition, support responds only through an inconvenient chat on the site (while not giving any useful information), and on the VK social network they no longer accept messages.
Ordered over $250 worth of merchandise. Had a coupon for $70 off. Received my order a few days later. I returned two items which were valued on my return slip at $90. Returned. Waited several weeks. I was refunded $18. Apparently, if you use a coupon, that coupon is applied back to your refund, and you receive the difference. The $75 jeans I ordered felt a little off and not quite the quality and fit I wanted. Had I known they would now only have been worth $9, I guess I would have kept them. When I questioned customer service, they said there was nothing they could do that that the terms and conditions in the banner of their website were clear, and that they offer no merchandise credit, etc. Will not order here again.
Great bag all around ASOS! It's not only cute, but it's really functional and made well too. I can't believe hostility and soft the leather feels! The strap is totally adjustable, just like a belt buckle, and there are several more pockets than I expected. I'm really impressed with this product... excellent quality at a very affordable price!
Love the products, ease of returns, and you can sign up for 2 day shipping for only $19 dollars a year. That being said, the two day shipping NEVER comes in two days. They're customer service does nothing to appease their customers. They basically just say "sorry". I will stop shopping here even though I was buying things once a week from them solely because their customer service is terrible.
Have ordered 20+ maternity items. Had to return or replace some due to fit. Followed directions for returns to the letter. They did not do all refunds. I'm still missing a few hundred dollars. Customer service is lacking to say it politely. I get a different person responding to my inquiries (all via email) IF they even get back to you. I have submitted bank statements, their own email confirmations of receipt of returned items, as well as postal receipt. Their reply? "sorry could you please send us further information." Outright thieving in my estimation.
I paid extra for premium delivery which guarantees orders arrive the next day. Of my first three orders one arrived on time, two arrived more than two days late. My fourth order, placed on Tuesday, still hasn't arrived now, Saturday, despite being guaranteed to deliver on Wednesday. Hermes have lost the parcel and ASOS can't and won't do a thing. I have emailed them and tweeted them five times and I've been ignored every time. I've also messaged Hermes and they've ignored me too.
The last communication I had was from Hermes saying "Sorry we can't deliver your parcel today". That was it. Hilarious.
If you think it's faster to buy from ASOS than anywhere else, you're sorely mistaken.
ASOS and Hermes: a marriage made in hell.
Avoid like the plague.
They recommended a size through their AI which turned out to be 1.5 x larger than expected. Tried to return, but they will charge me a $ 25 fee to do this. All other Canadian retailers( Reebok, Nike) provide free returns. Plus paid the customs agent a fee that I will never recover. The client service (Sarah) on chat was as helpful as well... a robot that is programmed to provide customer disservice of the highest order. There was absolutely no intent or intention to help AT ALL. BUYER BEWARE... all OK when order placed, but be careful when there is a problem with the order, you dont want an experience like mine. This is no monopoly, so many other stores to choose from.
Waited 1 month long for my order, still haven't received yet. Took me 2 emails to reach a customer service rep and he told me to wait another month, if by then it doesn't arrive, contact them again.
Disgraceful and irresponsible way to handle issues that they have control over. Boycott this company and let them close down.
After being insulted by a returns agent that has no clue about an item because they cannot see the item, I have decided that ASOS are rude, immoral and definitely should not be trading to the public at all if they cannot sort their attitude. If you return something be ready for personal comment in your inbox. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Would like to point out that due to having cancer treatment in the past, our home is not only clean but sterile... we had to be to keep our child safe when on chemo. ASOS are disgusting to make allegations and I invite any inspection of my home
Tip for consumers:
Do not use, avoid at all costs. There are places that have much better service, quality and delivery times, plus the customer service does not exist as soon as you have an issue here. They only want to know if you are happy, if you aren’t they fob you off.

ALLEGEDLY a full refund given of product is faulty/damaged. Apparently they try every way possible to wriggle out of it.
I have ordered from asos.com roughly 20 times. Generally I am happy with the products. One time they sent me an expensive dress without the belt and then their customer service was willing to do absolutely nothing about it (and I had to wear it to a wedding, so no time to send back) - but besides that I generally recommend this store. The lower priced items will be lower end. Thats to be expected. If you are looking for something very specific, for example 'pink wool coat', there is no better place to look than asos.com
I ordered clothes my account shows delivered on the 4th of January 22 and as at today February 10,22. I have not received the clothes. All efforts to communicate don't work, I tried chat I noticed they constantly blocked or cut me off, I went through head office they said only means of communicate is online chat. ASOS now operate illegal way if blocking customers from direct contact. No customer care, no phone, everything is robot.
Tip for consumers:
Communication. Online robot chat is the only method to communicate with ASOS. It's not good.

I bought clothes from ASOS in December 2021 and this is February 10, 2022, I still don't receive my order.
I have placed many orders with this company and my most recent order had an item missing. The customer service team just keeps replying "they are looking into it" and when I question this they are very rude. Luckily, it was a cheap item because I do not think I'll be getting my money back. Will never order from them again.
35-40% due at delivery which was not advertised at time of sale. Sizing recommendations per website are awful; products came incredibly oversized. In order to return them for money back you have to pay duties a second time, at roughly the same rates. Total additive cost 60-80% of sticker price if return is required... Not Worth It!.
I've been a loyal customer of Asos for many years, but the way they treat me now is unbelievable. My package (of over 200 euros) was 'delivered' at my doorstep and was then nowhere to be seen when I got home. When I emailed them I got a checklist back with 'tips' to find the package:
- View your digital proof of delivery.
- Others at the same address.
- At the neighbors
- In safe places such as behind/between/in, for example, a shed.
- Local post office/pick up location.
It is more than logical that you check with your neighbors whether your package is there. But otherwise they don't want to help me (after several attempts I don't get an answer anymore). Really very customer unfriendly, especially after I've ordered from them so many times before. Do I now have to pay for a package I have never seen? In any case, I will never order here again and I will certainly not recommend it to others from now on, because as soon as things go wrong, unfortunately they are of no use at all.
I ordered a pair of adidas and i had them returned/sent back 5 TIMES! Each time receiving the wrong item. The fact that they don't do a exchange is also ridiculous. The only reason I put up with it was because these shoes are found no where else! I hate their customer service and will NEVER be using their site again. Its absolutely ridiculous.
Our Christmas is ruined. I ordered a month in advance and now was told that I'll not get the items as they were damaged. They will just refund me. What!? The point of ordering is for Christmas presents. It's only one day left for me to find an alternative presents. Discussing company! Never order from them again!
Wow, ASOS is a household name so I thought their service would be top notch. Its now been 6 weeks since I ordered shoes which never arrived. I have emailed ASOS 5 times and each time they say they will get back to me in 48 hours... which of course doesn't happen. Despite me emailing them a month ago its still unresolved and they are refusing to refund my money. Appalling.
I ordered a pair of Vans shoes from you ASOS last week... my first time shopping this company... AND I received a size 8 versus my order of a 9.5 (not a great first impression due to the obvious annoyance). Can they exchange?- No. Are they going to compensate me for the inconveniences? = No, nothing beyond my refund 10 days later (less shipping cost!?!). One hour later chatting with their "customer service" and I got absolutely nowhere. I suppose it makes sense now that ASOS does not have a customer review option.
I have purchased a total of 13 items from ASOS. While most of them have been good purchases, my last two were absolute trash. The first one came with a broken strap and the second one came in a damaged parcel and was covered in black smudges (see photos). I am really bummed because I have enjoyed their clothing selection and prices for a while. But after two strikes like that, I'm not willing to waste money on shipping having to return damaged items. Also from what I've researched, they are not a very ethical company. Not always my top priority, but another gripe I have with them. I'd say overall it's pretty hit or miss.
Tip for consumers:
Just keep in mind that you pay for shipping and they don't reimburse you for shipping when you return an item--even if the item is damaged.

I kept 10/13 items.
