I bought the Trekkie North Jogger to wear on a trip to Kentucky's Bourbon Trail. I liked the color, and the fit was close enough. I am very hard to fit because I am 5'1, weigh 113, and have straight hips, but I don't have the small waist of my youth. Anyway, these pants stretched out after a couple of hours, and they wrinkled. I don't know why these pants get such good reviews.
I ordered a pair of shorts that ended up to be too big so I did a refund. I received an email that they received them and they would be doing a refund. Long story short, I never received my refund…they said it was processed back to my Apple Pay and told me to contact them. So I did and apply pay said that they didn't see anything to contact Athleta or my bank. This has been a nightmare and lesson learned! I will never order online from them again. So, they get their shorts back and my money. Wonderful scam they have going on. I'm very pissed!
Returned a large online petite order Jan 30. The skus' were mislabelled and caused confusion. Finally resolved but the young clerk just turned away after we were finished, never apologized for the problem, never asked if she could help me find something else. A real downer and not a smile the whole time.
Generally, athleta is my always go-to. Love them and their feel and choice of colours. BUT one of my most recent purchases, look like it wasn't finished properly or something had happened? Not sure.
My orders have all been great. Unfortunately I have noticed a trend toward very large and unattractive pants being sold by Athleta. I understand that styles change, but PLEASE bring back much LONGER (full length) and skinnier work pants as options. I couldn't wear ANYTHING that you current list as "work clothes" except maybe some of the dresses. Thank you for "listening!"
Everytime I go into Marketfair Athleta store, I feel uncomfortable, as if I'm being watched, the only black in the store, and im the only one being helped, each time. At first I just thought it was me. The second time the same results, I return all my 300+ dollars of items.
I had to change 2 sizes on an online order a few hours after making the initial purchase. I had to speak to 3 different representatives who were all very friendly, unfortunately gave me false information each time (this was why I had to keep calling back). In the last phone call, I was told I would be sent a coupon in my email for my troubles to be disappointed again. They seem like they will tell you anything to get you off the phone. The items were ok but definitely not good enough to outweigh how customer service makes you feel.
Needed an e-gift card to be sent that day. Ordered, paid and now for 36 hours it has said ‘processing order'. Every other e-gift card o have ever purchased has been sent within the hour. I have repeatedly submitted customer service requests and no one has contacted me. This place feels like a scam.

Athleta sent me the wrong size brooklyn jogger- and while the associate apologized about their mistake and understood it was their mistake- they explained they could simply not exchange final sale items. It's not my fault if they sent the wrong size. Will be aaifing for a soljtion
Now you can't even order clothing online without a credit check. See for yourself: Create an online order and provide a phone number that does not appear on your credit report. Your credit card will be charged (and show as pending). Then, exactly 24 hours later, you will receive a cancellation email with instructions to contact their "research" department (with charges removed). I don't like to keep my email and phone number (typical account recovery information) in the same database if it is not necessary, but companies that don't need it are insisting on aggregating it. If my billing and shipping address match, why the extra collection of data stored in, and verified by, credit databases?
Answer: Athleta is a legit company that charges outrageous prices for cheap clothing.
