Whenever I'm in need of an authentication, I without a doubt use AuthenticateFirst! Their prices are fair and the turn around time is SO quick, sometimes even quicker than what they advertise. You can also order digital certificates for authentic items which come in super handy when you plan to resell! That peace of mind from knowing your item was professionally authenticated is always worth it!
You cannot argue with a company that doesn't use common sense and is out to just make a buck. Don't fall for it, people. Look up their reviews - there are a TON of bad ones. TONS. And the fact that the company isn't willing to look into bettering their shady practices or even speak to people in a more kind and less condescending matter, really says a lot about their legitimacy. Some people live with themselves only because they are in denial about their bad behavior. Shame on you, AuthenticateFirst.
Need to authenticate a luxury item? Your search stops here. AuthenitcateFirst is much easier to use than the competition and the prices are better. I am thrilled with this service. Now I can buy on line with confidence. I can also provide a certificate of authenticity to my customers through my website. It's a win/win! Fast service. Their customer service is fantastic. I emailed them with a concern and they addressed it quickly and in a kind manner. I could not be more pleased. I tried to upload a photo of my beautiful certificate but sitejabber's uploader does not work.
I uploaded all the photos Authenticate First required on the first submission. That included the Christian Dior Logo on the inside of a Dior belt and the words "PARIS" are very clear in the photos as well.
I get a request for a picture of the serial number from Authenticate First (if they knew what you were doing you would know Christian Dior belts do not have serial numbers) AND a request for a picture of the county or origin stamp... well... they ALREADY have a picture of it from the original submission.
I asked the chat they have on the website what was going on but go ZERO responses. They do not have a functioning email either. The website says to contact *******@authenticate first and it just bounces back any email you send.
I submitted the same exact pictures to another authentication company and got my results in just under 3 hours.

Wey pay a $45 Service for a Bottega authentification, they assure that the article was a clone, and checking with other authenticators it turned out to be original. I think that if they are not sure they should advise and reimburse and not insure "false clones"

I am online and looking at several Louis Vuitton bags for sale. I came across a Louis Vuitton golf bag (vintage) and i knew it was a replica instantly. I have been studying LV for about five years. I collect them because of my fascination with the history of Louis Vuitton and the making of this brilliant company. First off, the monogram logos on this particular bag were not aligned, the stitching was way off, the hardware is not anything Louis Vuitton would put on any bag and last but least, the heat stamp. This is NOT one of Louis Vuitton's heat stamps. Oh my, anyone that loves LV would know this. This particular stamp is used by a lot of older replicas. Taking one look at this alone, i knew these people do NOT know what they are doing. I would never have them look at one of my bags, even if it were free. How horrible to make money by ripping people off like this. They aren't even on the level of authenticating a ring out of a gumball machine!
The authenticator who reviewed the LV golf bag has over 20 yrs experience authenticating LV, and is a vintage expert. Instead of slandering AF with mis-information, why don't you seek a qualified 2nd opinion instead of guessing yourself.

I thrifted a Gucci purse, It was cheap and I figured it was a fake but was willing to take a chance on it... I did some legwork authenticating it myself and determined it was probably authentic but wanted the experts to weigh in on it... the site made it super easy to send in photos etc and within 24-48 hours (it was over a weekend so had it not been the weekend it would have been completed in 24 hours). I love that this service is available! I will use them again and recommend them to anyone who is not sure about an item.
After we filed Paypal dispute, you delete the comment that you apologize for your authenticator compared clutch to tote because you see the chain and thought it is tote. Do you think this can erase the evidence that you made mistake? This is cyber crime and fraud.

You don't know a mistake was made. You think you can just walk into Prada, pick up the same bag and think you can spot the differences. Just exactly how many Prada have you authenticated? How much professional experience do you have? What are the differences between a super fake, and authentic? You have made many of your own assumptions that we did not state. You have nit picked and over analyzed and complained endlessly over nothing. We suggested you get a 2nd opinion from another authentication service and you don't. You are relying on your own experience of walking into Prada, which is totally unfounded and ridiculous.
Turnaround time took only less than an hour. Very proactive. The way they generate their authenticity card is very flexible. Reliable site to have your bags authenticated.
I'am very satisfied with the services, bought 2 bags, one seemed authentic I had the prove of purchase from the seller but I still needed reassurance that bags were real. I sent both photos and results came that one bag was real and the other not real. The one with the prove of purchase was the real one but authentic first didn't t know that cos I didn't show them the prove of purchase, I only sent pictures of the bags, I bought a Gucci and YSL bag both on eBay with 2 different sellers. The Gucci bags came out as fake and when I told the seller the bag was fake he didn't acted surprised, as if he knew that already. The ysl bag was real and I kind of knew but as I mentioned above I needed to be reassured and thanks to authentic first I'm 100% sure. The fake Gucci was returned. This is my first time writing review and yes I'm a real person and wasn't forced to do this. Thanks authentic first will use the service again
Sent pictures through of a vintage Etro luggage piece I had sold online where the buyer threw authenticity into question. I sent pics through to Autheticate First and in just over 24 hours had my authenticity answer. Super fast and efficient. And I now have a happy buyer who has peace of mind. Sorry, in my effort to clarify, this service is bull---> The first two statements are from them. So this is what you can expect. I was excited to have a service which would provide both myself and my loyal client not only authenticity but history. This service unfortunately is a like a fast food chain... surviving off lack of quality supply in a time of quick turnaround. Beware and know your worth. The person responding is not someone i would EVER want to back me whether my purse were *******k hermes or prada nada 1K... with a rep like this. It's my first time to purchase a preloved signature bag. I didn't know the seller personally but she was in dire need of cash so she was selling her black Celine nano in one of the FB pages suppper low. Since I've been wanting a black nano for the longest time, i went through the purchase and "authenticated" the bag myself. She couldn't produce the receipt. I tried watching youtube videos about the nano and one vlogger mentioned about authenticate first so i went to their website. Though their website honestly isn't that "impressive", the authentication is only for $10 so I gave it a shot. The turnaround was quick and the evaluation was direct to the point. They let you know if they need additional pictures and will respond once they get finished. Their site is easy to use and upload photos to. Had them authenticate a bag that I bought online and they told me it was indeed real. Because I had doubt, I figured let me trick them and send in a bag that I personally bought from a department store just to see if they knew what they were talking about. They told me tha the bag I bought was a fake! OMG I wanted to scream because I had already accepted the other bag and at this point I couldn't get a refund. I am in the dispute process with my bank now. This is a scam 100% stay away. HOW are they authenticating anything via email ANYWAY? Makes no sense I should have listened to my gutt.
Response to their comment below: I cant believe you have the nerves to speak to me like you did below. You have no idea what you are doing admit it and move on! If you know you can't do it via photos, then why are you charging people to do so?/ there is a huge difference between saying we are not sure, then completely saying yes authentic when you are not sure. Authentication via photography is a proven accurate way of authentication. We are not the only business who authenticates via photos. If you had doubt of this method, we offer in house service, which you did not utilize. Regarding the authentication in question - we will need more information so that we can look into the situation. Before posting a public comment, we would ask that our clients contact us privately for resolution, so that we may have a chance to address any issues.

For those who wish to have an in person authentication, we offer that as well. Please re-read our response. Also, we only have 1 order under your email address, not 2. Our records show you only sent 1 item for authentication. We stand behind our expert's opinion. Why would you try to "trick" us? Why don't you get a 2nd opinion?
