I live in Oregon and a progressive driver hit me. Progressive totaled my new car and I was unable to get anything close to what I had before they hit my car. I used autoloss to help out with my DOV. The sent out a report that was not helpful. The insurance company refused to speak with me and would not review any documents from Autoloss. I filed complaints as requested by Autoloss and tried to receive my 100% money back guarantee and all i have been receiving from Autoloss is rude emails and telling me that I apparently know Diminished Value better than they do. They are rude, not helpful and will not stick to their 100% money back guarantee! I highly do not recommend them!

I contacted Autoloss after my fairly new SUV with 3500 miles on it was rear ended & required $11K worth of body work. The at fault driver's insurance company claimed there was NO diminished value & offered me $50 to go away!

Monica at Autoloss explained their whole process and that insurance companies don't like to ever pay DV. Once I had agreed on using Autoloss, they prepared the report, faxed it to the insurance company and sent me a copy with a manual on when to call them, how to negotiate, what to say and more importantly, what NOT to say. The report was very comprehensive & included comps of like vehicles in my area.

Even though I was warned not to expect a check for the full amount of the DV, the insurance company agreed to paying me that amount in full after I signed a release. I should have the check in a week.

This business is lying to customers about their references and the work they will do for them which they find out after they pay. The fee does not allow enough money for a personal visit of an appraisar to review the vehicle damage independently. They say they will do more than they do and the wife of the owner writes the references and posts them sometimes on behalf of a separate business they own.

We had a tricky situation with an out-of-state claim and an insurance company that changed their adjustors in the middle of this three month ordeal. Monica and the team were very quick with the initial appraisal. In the end, I grew tired of the other adjustor company; they have nothing but time, and wearing you out is their job and they get paid by the hour. Monica helped to get us almost $3,000 more than their initial offer, so good job.
