AMAZING SERVICE!
November 29, 2021

Sunday evening. Car won't start. Battery needed! Ohhhh noooo!
Wonderful neighbor jumps car and within an hour Jessica and Rob of Auto Zone,
456 N. Colony St., Wallingford, have me driving home with my new battery!
My son-in-law was there 24 hours earlier also needing a battery for his North Carolina vehicle.
Again, he was on the road in no time!
AMAZING service! VERY knowledgable! HIGHLY recommend!

Great service
September 2, 2020

I was having trouble starting my car. I went to AutoZone and they checked my battery for free. The battery was bad, so I bought a new one with a 3-year warranty. David, the store manager, installed it for free! I did not know that AutoZone would install it, let alone for free!

I go to AutoZone to buy everything I need for my car. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

Unskilled employees
August 5, 2019

Help one of the employees do a test on my battery. I had asked for a load test. He proceeded to use amp meter and told me that was a load test. I told him an amp meter only reach the voltage of a battery, the battery needs to be load tested.
I think the guy made pizzas before working at AutoZone no mechanical or electrical knowledge.

There should be no reason why you should have a scheduled maintenance of your website in the middle of day when stores are still open. At night when stores and customer service is closed is when that should take place... it's one thing for emergency maintenance but any other reason is not exceptable.

My wife and I approached the counter to buy a car battery,the employee ask if either of us spoke Spanish?we said no and immediately we were ignored and looked over,instead helping us they looked over us and their fellow Spanish speakers we felt highly disrespected and we will never return to autozone again

Bad Service

Placed an online order on 1/8 with a delivery date of 1/13. Still hasn't shipped as of 1/12 and they have no clue on the status of my order. Been in ready to ship status for the last 2 days. First online order and it will be my last

Excellent srevice

I would like to say that I was on the phone with one of your associates by the name of Marquel at store number 4779 for about 20 minutes looking for a part for my car. He found the part and he answered all of my questions (which were many). He was so friendly and helpful that he made feel feel like we were great friends. Thanks to Marquel and the way I was treated by him that I will now patronize your company for all my automotive needs before anyone else. It is employees like him that causes a company to flourish and grow. If I had a company I would surely "steal" him from you. Thank you very much Marquel. I went into the St clairsville Ohio store to purchase two five gallon jugs of 5W-30 Castrol motor oil and two filters. The gentleman behind the counter said we have a manager special that'll save you a lot of money and he took me over and he showed me an oil pan, a funnel, a roll of paper towels, a bottle of fast Orange, a 5 gallon jug of oil and a filter for $33. The Castrol 5 gallon jug by itself was $40. I pointed out to him that the sign in front of the special said STP he said don't worry about it go get your Castrol I'll honor it. When I went up to pay for everything another gentleman stepped in and refused to allow it. I did not ask for this it was offered to me. So instead of costing me $66 it cost me $103. And that was just the oil and filter not all the other stuff that was supposed to come with it. They have lost a customer and I will plaster this all over social media.
Shame on them.

I frequently use the autozone on 1st st. In bradenton florida... these guys go out of there way to make sure you get what you need. I drive past three part stores to get there... and its worth it. Dave and Jarrod and the whole crew make my job easier

EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE
February 19, 2020

After a long day of work and school, I was so tired I had no energy to smile. But after my interaction with Mr. Raheem Miller on Tuesday, February 18,2010, I left the store with a big smile on my face. I was extremely satisfied with the excellent customer service, expertise and professionalism by Mr. Miller. He exceeded my expectation. Mr. Miller is a great asset to this company and I highly recommend him for greater opportunities.

Easy to use

Really easy to use site. All you have to is put year, make, and model of your vehicle and a description of part you are trying to find if you don't know the exact name. There system will then search and find your part with pictures.

I recently visited a local AUTOZONE store and was completely stunned by the way a manager was using the " F" work while complaining to another employee while ther were at least a dozen customers in the store that could hear him. His conversation went like this.". I can't get any "F***ing" deliveries done because the "F***ing phone won't quit ringing. The "F***ing people keep coming through the doors, and I can't "F***" do it all! " Well, after having to listen to that trash, I along with at least 7 of the customers left and went across the street to another parts store. Let me just say it was quite a bit more pleasant. Needless to say I will NOT be returning to AUTOZONE anytime soon.

We bought an alternator for our car, thinking we could return it if our alternator was good. The girl who works at Autozone did not tell us there is an electronic policy. We found out that our alternator is good and now we can't return the one we bought, and we really need this money back. I just wish she should have told us about the policy, that way we would have taken our alternator out first and checked it. Now we are stuck with one that we don't need.

Absolutely done with this franchise. Every time I am forced to get parts there, they screw it up somehow. This time I call into fountain, CO. Store #818 The lady looks up the parts say they are in stock and goes and verifies. So, I pay online while parts are in her hand. Now this store is 1 mile from my house, so easy walk instead of having a friend drive me to another store later in the day. 30 minutes later I receive a call from the store telling me the parts won't be available until 8am tomorrow. Thanks now the $175 parts and your stores incompetence cost me $500 in lost wages on top of the price of the part. To boot the guy who called me didn't know what to do when I asked him to make sure I didn't order the wrong part. He just gave me attitude and transferred me to a manager.

Wasat the Enid Oklahoma store this am to get a part that I had ordered and paid for over the phone. When I got there the assistant manager, a Mr. Dodson, was a real jerk. He refused to check in my item, even though he knew I was there waiting for it. Finally another employee took my item from Mr Dodson and checked me out. All told I stood there for an hour while the assistant manager had his little power play. Wouldnt recommend the Enid Oklahoma store to anyone. Thankfully there are other auto parts stores in Enid with way better customer service

Do never buy any parts from autozone!, their parts are expensive and when you buy parts, they said it is lifetime warranty, but once the parts wore out, they rejected to change you a new parts with excuse by excuse!

Racism

Never really had a problem here before but was at the Auto Zone in Hagerstown Md on October 27th, 2023 between 5-7pm and called to see about a part and the manager On duty answered and seemed kind of impatient and rude. But that's not it, when I was there waiting in a nice size line I noticed 2 young black boys that had already paid for their stuff and as they was walking out the manager yelled at them in front of everyone excuse me did you pay for your stuff. Them showing the receipt saying yes and the man who also works there that rung them up told the manager yes they paid. Even after the worker told him they paid he still made them come back in and show their receipt. Not even 1 minute later a white man walked out and the alarm goes off and he waved his receipt saying I already paid and the manager said I believe you. Seems pretty racist if you ask me!

Went to get a headlight bulb replaced and asked the employee to put it in for me. He dropped the inside cover of the headlight in my car. Didn't even apologize. Just told me i would have to go to a dealership to get it replaced. I wont be going back. Thanks for nothing.

Juan who is the store manager of the store on Florence and Normandie is a great person... he was very helpful... I treated kindly... I just appreciate the fact that he was so helpful and that I knew nothing about cars... he came out he helped me and was very patient... he told me what I needed and came out and installed...
Stores could takes lessons from Juan and his staff when it comes to customer service... need more staff like this man and if they did customer... I choose Auto Zone because of Juan and the professionalism I received from him... in closing Juan make my experience to this store GREAT... thank u for a rewarding experience... I will continue to patronize Auto Zone on Florence and Normandy where Juan works...
