I ordered a part on Nov 21st and said part was to arrive on the 23rd. Nope! On the 23rd, I received an email that my order was delayed and there was no time frame for when it would arrive. Called the 1-800 number and was was basically told, sorry there is nothing we can do. I couldn't cancel the order so I ended up buying from Rock Auto. Should have gone there first!
AutoZone is a bad place they return all their electronic components put them on the shelf as new and sell them to customers at full price knowing that the parts are used how would you like to buy a sensor for a hundred or $200 knowing it was used AutoZone puts all that stuff back on the shelf
I recently went to the Auto Zone (store # 3939) on Penn Avenue in Sinking Springs PA to purchase a battery for my wife's Jeep Cherokee. The vehicle was at the dealership and I was unable to get the Jeep to Auto Zone. I was intending on being able to drive the Jeep, so I had no tools with me to install a new battery. Darren the store manager offered to drive to the dealership to help me install the new battery. Darren went above and beyond his duties as a manager. It is nice to know that in today's society there are still people like Darren. Thank you so much!
After being disrespected by another employee Brian K and the managers made my my order right and took care of me very well after the issue and it was greatly appreciated they have tremendous customer care
My car wouldn't start in front of the Dollar Store on 23 mi New Baltimore Michigan and the guys from Auto Zone came to my rescue! They couldn't have been more knowledgeable or efficient and I thought of them as angels.

Autozone employees are eager to help their customers, they are always polite and very knowledgeable I have become a loyal autozone customer. I have gotten to know all the employees in this store by name and every time I walk in they greet me by my first name. It's a pleasure taking my business to autozone. Love it. Thx

Purchase brake pads and rotors kit for car. The rotors were good and so was the rear brake pads. The front brake pads were incorrect even though the website said that kit fit my car. So I purchased the front brake pads and thought I could return the other front break pads that didn't work. Went to local store first and they couldn't do anything because it wasn't in their system so i emailed the company. Below is what I was told.

I was stranded at the Auto zone on Treadway in Abilene and Harvey and Ford were so kind and incredibility helpful! I was able to buy the part call a mobile mechanic and be on my way within 45 minutes! These men are a God send! I am so thankful for them. I am a single female and I really appreciate their kindness and expertise! These guys desire a raise.
I ordered a OBDIIsplitter. This splitter will not work with my AMP power steps. I tried to return it to two Autozone stores with negative results. My wife has tried to correspond via email and no response.

So I use to be the store manager for Potosi Autozone (2360) and was under Investigation for breaking policy by allowing a new employee to work before cleared back ground check AND this new store manager has been sleeping/living with a grey shirt, Favoritism, Giving him best hours to be with her, making employees cover his shift or hers with open to closes, numerous employees had to quit due to treatment and the (policy strict) affair, missing money, lying, drinking on job but her investigation was dropped with photo proof, witnesses, and open testimony --- dang talk about a lawsuit. So any EX autoZone employees that was let go, investigated, or no longer works there please contact me and I will give you my lawyer name. We have a case and money. Discrimination and Favoritism at its finest. Proving St Louis Region just picks who has to follow policy and who is a "yes sir" keeper.
Was very polite and Knowlegeable. Went in to get a battery for my truck and he met me with a smile and ask how he may help me. Did not have to hunt down a sales person he looked up what battery i would need and tested the old one to make sure i did need a new one. Got me the one i needed and i was on my way.
The morning of 1 August 2022. I stopped at the AutoZone located on W. Main St. In Medford Oregon. Young lady by the name of Leina did more than exactly to get me some headlights. With unknowing to me the wiring has been modified by the previous owner and the bulbs,(, high beams) we could not match a bulb to fit. Leina tried numerous adjusting parts to make the high beams work but she wasn't able to due to the wiring. The low beams were a fit but my finances was not a match. I can insure you that the next time I visit that store I will request for Leina because I know that she will give her all to help. If I could give her a promotion most definitely would.
Everytime I go to this store the fellas there are always so helpful and knowledg-able. I am not saying females can't know anything about cars, i'm just stating that this one sure doesn't. If it's something they can do for me with the part i purchase they always do. I went in 11/28/22 with a blown head light and Bert P was very kind and helpful. No matter if i'm in Greenville and i still travel to the Winterville store for the great customer service. SHOP AUTO ZONE!
I when to the Blue Island IL. To return a part that was the part that I needed, but since I did not have the part in the box, they did not want to return it; although I had the receipt and they knew that was the part. Very disappointed!
Shopped online to be sure they had the sparkplug I needed in stock and it was for $2.99 at the counter I asked for CJ8Y and was told it was $7.58. Asked if it was CJ8Y and told no it's the equivalent. Looked at the computer screen and saw CJ8Y in the search bar. They didn't know I had already searched online and knew the price and that it was in stock. Tried to rip me off. Very dishonest.
Auto zone has the worst web site of all time. There is no way in hell they can really have a problem or maintenance scheduled. On 12-11-20@ store # 4675 ******* iron bridge road Chester va, about 8:10 pm the young man working was too fast on the computer, didn't ask me if i wanted to use my $ 20 reward. OTHER PROBLEMS I AM NOT SAYING. I will said this every worker and managers think they know it all. But I got a reward point this time. The last time at this location I got no point. I need to return parts, but I can't find my receipt nor is it on my purchase history. But I got a message to give one of the parts a review. SO WHAT IS THERE PROBLEM. Answer: Nope. Bunch of ameteurs. Even their oil and windshield wiper fluid is way overpriced. If you want your order to be fulfilled correctly, them go somewhere else. Amazon is too incompetent to handle even basic orders placed via their app. Customer service list tells you "Oh well". Pathetic.
Answer: It's not too hard to find someone working inside Autozone. What's hard to find in Autozone is someone who doesn't argue with a person who is qualified to work on practically every vehicle and knows what they're talking about. I guess that being a computer jockey makes them a certified mechanic.
Answer: If not in any particular hurry, I prefer to wait for 3-5 days to get my auto parts which was ordered on Hexautoparts. Com. They has lowest price with the most cooperative customer service. I saved a lot of money with HexAutoParts.
