The flowers delivered different products & designs (totally not the same as the picture listed on the website). Beware this company charged additional service fees without stated information in advance, when you do check out payment there are automatically additional service fees USD24.95 Plus Tax. Please check the review before ordering with this company. I doubt they are a first-hand florist store locally. The company needs to shut down the website that has been scamming & conning the customers on e-commerce. Not trusted shopping online over the years.
Same day delivery service was what I was promised. They even called to verify it was a teacher not a student and said it was on its way. They didn't call me that day but waited till the next day to tell me it wasnt delivered due to thier shipper. They lied on delivery and they offered me 5 bucks instead of the 15.99 delivery fee. They ruined a special day for me and my family and didn't even call that day so i could make other arrangements
The website makes it seem like those are actual options, but NONE of what they have is what you will receive. They scammed a lot of people out of money including me, they advertise same day delivery and require you to call them to find out if they will even deliver it on time. The customer service departments go to is just to get an alternative address in case they can get the random flowers to that location on time, which they aren't even sure of because they are 3rd partying it to other florists who won't and don't need to prioritize it. So you get what they have due to availability and what not, from the reviews I'm almost certain my order got messed up, it might not even arrive to her house by today either because the customer service lady may not feel like updating the information, and there is no way to find out. My payments been processed and that's all they cared about, better off going to Home Depot and UPS or fedex the flowers yourself, at least you'll get the right ones.
I ordered flowers for the funeral, and they didn't deliver. I received a call 3 hours after the funeral had finished knowing that my flowers never got there on time. I even paid extra for the rush fee. I never received an email with an apology from the company, even though it was a sensitive matter that caused lots of distress for me at the time. I had my money fully reimbursed; however, the damage is done. Very disappointed with the lack of respect for the customer. Shame on you.
I ordered a cute get well balloon bouquet for my 11 year old grandson. I ordered N9-Y Get Well Balloon Bunch. I understand substitutions but what was delivered had NOT ONE balloon that was like the picture. The entire bouquet was an ugly mishmash of different balloons. If the shop had none of the items in the bouquet, I should have had the option to cancel. It was expensive and I'm mad. I've included a photo of the sunny happy faced bouquet from online and a pic of what arrived.
Not worthy of even a one star rating! I purchased an expensive flower arrangement for my friend. She included a picture of what I bought her in a text thanking me. Well, I was disappointed when I saw the picture because it wasn't even close to what I purchased! I spent over $100 for the largest arrangement that I had to choose from. Do not order from this outfit! Called to complain and they said they were sending another arrangement out and my friend never received it and I was not refunded my money! See pics, the first one is what I ordered and the second picture is what my friend received!
Thr plant was beautiful and delivered on time.
Great service and wonderful arrangement.
It made the day a little brighter.
I ordered flowers for my 30th wedding anniversary and was guaranteed delivery on the 14th of July. After numerous inquiries regarding the status on my order, which is done thru an automated phone service, I was told that I would receive an email or text stating the status of my delivery. After several attempts to get the status (with no notification either by email or text) I called the customer support line. At the end of countless redirects on the automated phone system I received a recording that deliveries were not being made due to "Non Binary Person Day" and that live person customer support would not be available until the next day. On the morning of the 15th I called to state my dissatisfaction with the non delivery but was told that the delivery was made (apparently this statement was made by the delivery driver) by 7pm on the 14th and there was not a problem. I then proceeded too inform the customer support individual my dissatisfaction with this whole problem and was informed all they could do is refund $20 for my problems. After reviewing my security camera footage and seeing the delivery man on my doorstep the morning of the 15th, the customer support individual then proceeded to tell me that due to high volume, the delivery could not be made by 7pm on the 14th and that it was indeed made on the 15th (strange that it was admitted after I could show proof that it was in fact not delivered on time). After spending $40 for guaranteed delivery and service and proving that services were not completed as promised and as guaranteed, this to me is a slap in the face along with extreme anger being blatantly lied too about the service not to mention the floral arrangement was wilted and of poor quality. Whatever ever you do, do not trust this company with any type of quality service or product. You will not be extremely unhappy and frustrated with the end result.
Gift to daughter for Easter. She was surprised and loved them. She had made a comment that she hadn't received an Easter basket since she was a little girl. This was her Easter Basket from Mom.
Need flowers delivered for sympathy and expected same day delivery as their site states, but was notified, only by UPS, that there was a delay in delivery. It first was delayed a day delayed for another five days. The Funeral would be over by then. When I called to cancel, they offered the flowers to me at $20 off then 50% off... Very unhappy with the communication. Would have preferred that they just alerted me when ordered that the flowers would not be delivered that day.
My order was placed by myself in the United Kingdom for a special occasion to the DiFulgo family in McLean, VA., USA. The order sent by Avas Flowers Net and received by the DiFulgo Family was an insult. The flowers were just dropped on the porch, some heads were missing and most of the flowers died within 2 days. There was no response to my complaint; no acknowledgement of even receiving my complaint; no apology; no replacement of the order; no refund.
Now, after nearly 4 months I'm asked to write review? Are you crazy?
Left on sidewalk in front yard at midnight; didn't even ring a bell. No balloons or ribbons as paid for. Called customer service and spoke with a Hazel, promised to re-deliver within 2 days; that never happened. They just take your money and you become another statistic.
Delivered my grandma's funeral flowers to another funeral and never supplied them. I contacted them 2 hours before the funeral and they argued with me that they were there in front of a blue casket and my grandma's casket was light wood. I will never use this company again. BEWARE!
Zero stars! The basket was purchased at the dollar store along with the 3 items that came in my basket. A jar of olives/ 10 tea bags of green tea. 3 bananas two kiwi one clip of grapes. One grapefruit one pineapple. They literally robbed us. They should be sued for false advertisement. My mom order it for my birthday and sent a picture of what she sent. Guess they saw and opportunity to take advantage of someone as she lives out of state. They also charged her 8 dollars for a balloon for my daughter that they did not deliver. Save yourself a 100 bucks go to the nearest dollar store and make your own fruit basket cause if you order from them that is exactly what you will be getting!
This is a fraud company that advertised something and deliver something completely opposite. Upon reporting the customer service agent refused to give email for reporting person and her employee ID and name. I order for my bf's bday and they sent him PINK flowers instead of blue. It was so embarrassing. Thank God I didn't sent to work as it was his day off. See the picture it makes more sense. The PINK is what we got and BLUE is what I ordered.
I have learned to always call florists before ordering to ask about the flowers that are available. Which, in this case I did. They assured me that all the items in the arrangement I wanted were in stock, I even asked the agent if she was in the physical store and she said yes (LIE). What I got was awful vs what I expected.
Do not use this florist, if you do, you will be disappointed! Never again..
Paid extra to have an arrangement delivered to my mother on Mother's Day. They never delivered, and never notified me that it wasn't delivered. I only found out after I asked her about the flowers, so I had no option to make alternate plans.
I talked with customer service, and was told I should have known it wasn't delivered because I didn't receive a delivery confirmation. I did receive an order confirmation, and thought that was enough.
I certainly won't ever use Ava's again, and hope you don't get caught in the same situation.
I paid over $105 and was supposed to get two dozen tulips with a purple bow. What came was 10 sad looking tulips with a smooshed, orange bow.
The guy on the phone said they were a local business, right in town- which turned out to be a lie as the flowers came from a florist over an hour away.
So disappointing, what a waste of money.
I would give them a 0 rating if I could. They promise the moon and LITERALLY don't deliver! My MIL did not receive the flowers I ordered for Mother's Day. Like, not just late, but NOT AT ALL. Then it was a major pain to get a person on the phone to help me. Their customer service line for delivery issues was just a recording that said when the flowers were supposed to be delivered and then it hung up on me. I finally had to call the order line and get transferred a bunch of times until someone processed a refund. At least I got that in writing; however, I'm not even sure they did that correctly!
Do not trust Avas Flowers with your Mother's Day! I live in NYC and trusted them to deliver flowers to my 90 yr old Mom in SC. I ordered them in advance, over the phone and was promised they would arrive by Mother's Day - I was not given a specific day just a date range - that should have been a hint. Today - Mother's Day I'm notified by email that they are cancelling the order. This is not the way to do business and I highly recommend for anyone to take your precious orders elsewhere.
Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
Answer: Phone tree hell. Very lengthy messages that you have to listen to in order to get the prompts.
