I ordered flowers for the calling hours of a close colleague, "guaranteed" by 2 PM Friday the 28th. A call to me 2/29, informing me they wouldn't get there till 3/2, the day after the funeral. Unacceptable.
Placed an order for a funeral. They couldn't fulfill the order but offered to send it somewhere else if we could. Presented them with a new address and then they tried to delay it 4 days. When I asked to just cancel the order they tried to upsell me instead of listening. They overtalk you, don't listen and just try to keep putting you on hold.
I ordered a dozen roses a week in advance of a friend‘s 80th birthday. The morning of the birthday, Ava‘s flowers called to say they had no roses, but could they send something of equal value? I was very annoyed, but gave them permission. They never delivered anything, completely missed the birthday.
Long story short, they couldn't get the order correct, not once, but twice! So much for celebrating Mother's Day with my mom who lives across the country. Do us all a favor and go out of business already! Don't be fooled by the "local, family-owned company." They aren't a local florist! Do yourself a favor and skip this disaster of a company and locate an actual local florist and support LOCAL!
Do NOT use Ava's Flowers! They are not in the US & they out source all their orders to local florists in your area! They make promises they do not keep & will never refund your money! They are a big SCAM! Their website reviews are FAKE too
Absolutely the worst ive ever used... you people are crooks you steal our money and laugh when we complain spemt 86 dollars and it looked like something from wallmart for 10dollars... how embarrassing. At my nephews funeral too hope you go our for dinner and order a steak and choke on my money... low class con artists
The bouquet that I sent to my mom was NOTHING like what I ordered. (she texted a photo when they arrived)
It was nothing like what I ordered, including the vase. Although I ordered a large upgrade, they were not. I told my mom that it looked like they were from Albertsons, her local grocery store. She said that the flowers included a card from Albertsons!
I paid a LOT of money to a national chain claiming to be a florist, and got a bouquet from the grocery store. I had called for a replacement, not realizing about Albertsons, and was assured by Avas that an appropriate bouquet would be delivered
Yesterday. That has not happened.
Look at the images, and you will see. While the flowers sent were pretty enough, this was not the extravagant bouquet I wanted and PAID for.
While the customer service people are polite, you can not trust this company.
I orderd flowers on line picked the large paid 87.99 dollars and when it was delivered my daughter send me a pic of it and it was very small not what I orderd or paid for their very disrespectful snd doesn't respond to their responsibility I don't recommend ordering flowers from them they rip u off very very disappointed
Ordered a birthday arrangement that I overpaid for. They had no flowers "except roses," and they couldn't deliver the Mylar balloons I paid extra for because "they were out of helium." They try to come off as local BUT THEY ARE NOT. Everything came by UPS. The balloons were subbed out for some rinkydink birthday "goody box." They are a ripoff. They also have a $24.95 service fee which didn't show up until the email confirmation. Do not use them.
I'm completely at a loss for words. I ordered a flower delivery for mother's day. The order was placed on May 1. Delivery was scheduled for May 10. (Two days before mother's day) As of 8pm on Mother's Day, the flowers STILL have not been delivered. Im sad and embarrassed that my flowers for my mother in law never made it to her. I can't believe the mismanagement at this place. The whole reason I ordered the flowers early, was to guarantee she would have them for her special day. I think I need to dispute the charge on my credit card.
We ordered a specific bouquet of yellow daffodils to be delivered today. They were unable to provide them or any yellow flowers, and only offered to deliver a bouquet of their choice tomorrow. Unacceptable! When we asked for a full refund, they refused, even though they were not able to provide the service they promised. They said they would be keeping a $17+ service charge. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!
Avas Flowers guarantees same day delivery. Well it's day 2 and no flowers and no customer service to speak of. When you order they are so nice and speak English. When the flowers don't show up there is no human to speak to in customer service so I went to the order site and they transfer you to someone who doesn't speak good English and they just say they are on their way. Have asked for money back, we shall see. Still no flowers, just a headache!
I wish I realized this was NOT a local florist as the website makes you believe, but a centralized company similar to 1-800 flowers. I had difficulty with verifying my mobile number on line... after order had been submitted. Attempted to contact the company, MULTIPLE TIMES and on 2 different days (on both numbers provided) and NEVER got a human. In fact, the choice for a customer service person brings you to a recording and after it disconnects you. There is NO email address either... but didn't realize until after I tried contacting them. My credit card was charged immediately but I still am unable to determine where my order is because they will only send updates via SMS and I don't have access to my mobile at this time.
WHAT A SCAM!
Ordered and was promised delivery the next morning for a 50th wedding anniversary. Ava's waited til mid-morning to call and say what I ordered and when delivery was promised would NOT happen. Do not trust your important occasions to any Ava's Flowers!
Charged the card and did not deliver. After 15 minutes on the phone and follow ups, no delivery. It wasn't till after 7 that I realized the delivery wasn't happening. By than to late to order elsewhere.
I ordered flowers for $54.99 pnline. I was charged $59.99. I also ordered three balloons. I only for one. When the flowers arrived they didn't look anything like the plant I ordered. When I called Ava's they said they would look into it. Their response was the company had to do substitutions and they met the guidelines with those. Ava's is a scam. Beware!
Happy with delivery but when I was hit with a fee totaling almost 50% of my order at the end of a tedious online session, I went forward but thought "Shame!" Shame on this sneaky method of charging customers at the very end of the transaction.
These flower were wilted, starting to turn brown and over priced. I paid $70. For 7 ugly tulips. Very disappointed, these were for my DIL's birthday. 1st photo is what I ordered and the 2nd is what I received.
I would to give your my respect for your services during this difficult time. I like how you prominently display your Covid-19 policy at the top of your website. I understand the reasoning and up front stating your reasons for this policy. I am just happy I can send something to my ma for Mother's Day and understand if the flowers do not arrive on that day and im sure my mother will do. Please continue what you are doing I think all these people complaining about delivery time are crazy anythinh I order takes longer to arrive now. I am just thankful that I get my deliveries at all.
My boyfriend wanted to surprise me with flowers for Valentines Day so he ordered in the 13th. They never came. On the 14th didn't arrive either. He wrote a review and they emailed him saying they would come on the 15th… never came. Worst customer service never answered the phone. And now when you call it's on auto saying they closed for the holidays. Don't purchase from them ever! We want a refund
Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
Answer: Phone tree hell. Very lengthy messages that you have to listen to in order to get the prompts.
