As a small business, we appreciate fast and approachable customer service, Diamond-Louise was so helpful in helping us find the issue with our label design, I could not fault the customer service and quality of the products at all. Truly very impressed and the vibrancy of the colours is Incredible! We can't wait to be long term customers of Avery!
This is the most cumbersome software I've worked with. I have been working with PCs since the late 80's and taught Microsoft software from 1990 until 2015. This takes the cake in difficulty to edit and print. Good luck.
I have an old box of labels (100 sheets) and went to use it. The adhesive was gone. Box says "All Avery Laser Labels are permanent self-adhesive labels." Product guarantee on the box says they "will gladly replace any product that does not provide complete satisfaction." There is no "use by" date on the box. Called Avery customer service and agent said "of course, there's a limited shelf life." He offered me a 10% discount coupon.
I declined.
I am a retired secretary who used to Avery templates quite easily. I've only been retired two years, but the template sites are SO different and so frustrating, that I'm very suspicious that Avery wants me to click for THEM to print off my project. The latest problem is with the template for "Print to the Edge Round Labels" Avery *******. First, you can't print to the edge because warning signs pop up that text may be cut off during the printing process. Second, (staying within the suggested parameters) the template was quite a bit off both vertically and horizontally, leaving me with only two out of the twelve labels that printed on my first page barely usable. I've spent almost two hours trying to figure out my own template for the 20 sheets of labels I purchased at Office Depot. Now I'm going to hunt the internet for possible templates from other sources that might match what I have, and if necessary, I'll buy a different brand. So very disappointed (and mad, can you tell?) at Avery!
I have tried every way, every printer,, every product number, of the business cards riducts. Design program will cause you hours of limited design. The cost of $20 or more dollars for paper. Because I am stubborn. I kept trying to get at least one sheet to print correctly it's terrible. The COST of paper, ink, for me is in the hundreds. I busted good printers because of the program. Have a local printer do your cards. My problem I forget to remind my self of the definition of insanity. I printed cards 5 years ago with the same limited design capabilities. Avery has not invested any upgrades to their design programs. Just bigger displays at office Depo or Max.
Spent $300 on file supplies and Avery labels. Our first dislike was sharing our business contact information with Avery. Then we tried to type simple file labels... bad... many tries. Then printing did not align. Then it was no better with MS Word. When we realized that we were wasting out time we tried to online chat with Avery. They were too busy to answer. We scrapped all the Avery products and used a competitor. They need to replace all of their label instructions.
Why complicate matters. The disk version works fantastically. Bring it back. The tools are complicated, I can't print a selected amount of copies, don't know where to start. How many pAGES? How many copies? Where to designate, just terrible. Looking for alternative!
Why is it so difficult to get what you paid for. I designed my labels using your templates. When it came time to print the labels, I was redirected to PDF the file which shows up with an Avery extension. You know damn well that saving a file with an Avery extension will not be accepted by any computer for future use. If I choose not you allow you in my business than let it be just that. I designed my labels, and if I don't want you to print them for me, release the file!
Avery's old software wasn't perfect but at least I could work around its shortcomings. The new version, which they switched to over the last few years outright sucks! It's not user friendly and I can't even find out how to do simple things I want to do with the address label file that I change each year due to people moving,. Etc. Please improve this software! I will be looking at other methods of printing my Christmas card labels.
I created a template for Avery 5011 - Small tent cards - 6 per sheet.
Y on earth is this product out there for people to use, yet in this day and age... not many people have the knowledge to do so.
I will send it to you if need be! Let others get the benefit of my work! Payin it forward world!
I've had issues with them since day 1. First the rep didnt know what options they all had for labels and kept suggesting products I couldnt use because they were reserved for when they do the printing. I was still asking her questions and she ended the chat on me as well. Ordered my labels economy and said it would arrive in 5 business days, it took 10 or 11 days. I want to return the products to them after having a bad experience and avery deleting my review on their website because it wasnt favorable to their reputation they want to know if I am going to order from. Them again because that influences whether or not you can return something. So much for 100% satisfaction guarantee they have on their site. I would give negative stars if possible, so mad with this company and its reps.
Ordered a large Bean Bag chair for my son before his Wedding, it is showing to be delivered in Illinois, funny thing is I live outside of Kansas City. No phone to call and they do not return email, Do not use these people. Crooked at best
Hi Scott, we are Avery Products. We specialize in labels, cards, and office products. Bean bag chairs are not part of our product catalog. You might be looking for Avery Decor, which upon a google search, looks like they sell bean bag chairs. Sorry that we could not be of more assistance.
I've tried to use all kinds of pull off stickers for the books at my job. We send these books off with the sticker on but the just don't come off when I get the book back three weeks later. They became so bad that there was this sticky material left on every book when trying to remove the sticker. Avery is suppose to do only one thing, make stickers that work. I'm not sure how they're still in business becasue I've had over 500 books completely damaged just because of the 6464 stickers. I'm completely done now and moving on. Unless you want damaged material, stay clear of Avery!

I have wasted far too much money on printing these labels. I bought them in bulk at the start of my business and if I could add up the time I have spent cutting the extra white off of the labels, tweaking the measurements, googling, and then trying to solve the problem between it being my printer, software issue, or the website - I could have just paid a company to print my labels. While this is a cost effective IDEA, it doesn't actually get much accomplished by way of printing professional product labels. If you want to label something like a folder for school, this would work. That's about it though.
Sorry to hear that you've had trouble printing your project. If you would like to reach out to our Care Team at avery.com/contact we would be more than happy to assist you.
I can not say enough negative things. I have purchased multiple labels for different uses and they have ALL FAILED ME. SO MUCH MONEY WASTED.
Have not had 1 sheet print correctly- the online template is not accurate to size to the actual label. My wedding invitations are ruined.
Ive purchased 5 different types of labels and changed all the setting on my printer and never been able to print one page accurately.
Address labels: font to small and skewed, despite font being "in the safety area". Enlarged font for second sheet, half of first label prints on the second label. Turned the sheet around, same issue.
Purchased small return address labels- same issue.
Business labels- won't line up.
SO much money wasted and cant return to the store because "its been opened."
Tip for consumers:
Do it yourself, Youll spend less time, money, and get fewer headaches just hand writing them

I figured my first batch of labels weren't centered bc I was just learning illustrator. However, I KNOW the logo is centered now because I tested it on a badge. But my logo is way off center. Why would this company allow a product to go out like that? After waiting so long to get them I am very disappointed. Also slapped one on for effect and it crinkled. It's just a one and a half inch circle and it crinkled. Wish I had thought to read all the reviews first.
I've been trying to fix my labels for about 8 hours not. Been on the phone with customer service more than once. I'm tech savvy. Every time I create labels on their website and download the PDF's it never prints properly onto my label sheets. It's always off... and then I'm hand cutting labels. I don't understand why this company can't get it together. If you have the ability to create online and download, it should work. I've wasted hundreds of labels... So disappointed. Now I'm stuck with over 100$ in blank labels I can't use. Or else I have to handcut all of them. Not to mention as I get to the bottom of my sheet of labels, they are all cut off. It's like their templates don't line up with their paper labels.
I have spent tens of hours over the last three months trying to develop a simple round 2.5" label and I have had to conclude it is impossible on this site. I am so angry and annoyed for wasting my money on these labels and spending my precious time on a worthless site.
I agree with others- Avery templates were easy to use before. What happened?! They just don't line up properly to the templates any longer. Waste of money to print stickers that aren't lined up. Very disappointed. I will not be purchasing from Avery again.
I've been using Avery for quite a while now and sensed absolutely no problems with the site. It prints just fine with my disc labels AND my DVD cases. You don't need to have them print it for you. You can do it yourself. You can either save your work onto
your My Avery account or your computer. That's about it.
Tip for consumers:
Avery doesn't do Blu-ray cases, if you want to make those. Try neato.com
The offline version to print my own labels always worked in the past. Now I'm fiddling with the online version of Design and Print, and after 5 attempts I still can't get it aligned correctly. No way am I going to ask the company to print for me when I purchased the labels already. So frustrated.

This is the worst application ever. They used to make them like this 15 years ago, where you had to adjust and ultimately find out it's easier to make your own template. Just forget about this--make your own.
Sorry to hear you had trouble using our Design & Print Online software. We would be more than happy to assist you with using Design & Print or we do offer 3rd party templates for programs like Word and Photoshop to download for free. If you reach out to avery.com/contact, our Care Team would be happy to help.
The "new and improved" site sucks. It is NOT user friendly. I went to open it today and the site would not take my current password. My only option at that point (I really needed to print out some labels that I had saved) was to request a new password, which the site would not let me do. Really? C'mon guys, get your act together.
I should have listened to the bad reviews. And yes it's true, they are horrible. They acted like they cared and had me send all types of pictures of all different angles of the horrible job labels they did. And I got ignored. Save your money because this website is full of crap!
Avery templates were once easy to find and easy to use. Not so now. I have spent an enormous amount of time trying to find the correct template and then could not save the final sheet of labels. Such a shame!
I used Avery labels at my former office and on my home Windows PC. I have hundreds of address labels set up on my current Win 10 PC: Family & business, holiday card labels, plus file labels. These have been added to, updated, and transferred from PC to PC since at least 2014. They have worked fine on my current PC until today, when I find that all the data has been completely separated from the matrix or table on all my files. The Avery web site offered no help, so I called. Their answer was: We don't make or update that old program anymore, and if it's stopped working for you, that's just too bad. Avery used to be a trustworthy company, and I've had no problems with their labels to date, but I will find a new way of doing my labels now, and will avoid Avery and its products in the future.
Tip for consumers:
This company does not continue, update, or maintain at least some of its products.

File label software & labels
Hi Robert, we are sorry to hear this. Yes, our old downloadable software such as DesignPro has been discontinued and is no longer updated. If you would like to reach out to our Care Team at avery.com/contact or call us at 800-462-8379 we can try offering a download link for that software, but we cannot guarantee that it will work. We do offer a free online tool called Design & Print Online that we would recommend switching over to since it is our most up-to-date experience. We would be happy to walk you through step by step on how to use it.
These labels are great, i use the avery template online to create product labels. First page i printed i noticed they were off centre so an adjustment of 12mm to the right was needed as to was 1mm adjustment downward. Another thing i encountered was that it doesn't print the bottom three labels but this is easily overcome by putting the label sheet in with the bottom 3 labels first so prints all 18 labels per sheet. Will take little bit to setup but hell it beats paying vista print $10 plus postage for 10 labels, i can create 180 labels for $17 plus ink. Another thing i would suggest is don't use black background as it will rub of as it is a canvas sticker. I am impressed with them and the template is excellent dont believe the haters you can add images, shapes, text many fonts good solution for mum and dad shops//
