As a small business, we appreciate fast and approachable customer service, Diamond-Louise was so helpful in helping us find the issue with our label design, I could not fault the customer service and quality of the products at all. Truly very impressed and the vibrancy of the colours is Incredible! We can't wait to be long term customers of Avery!
This is the most cumbersome software I've worked with. I have been working with PCs since the late 80's and taught Microsoft software from 1990 until 2015. This takes the cake in difficulty to edit and print. Good luck.
A change to the label print site makes selecting a Text box different from before. I cannot get the box to allow typing in the address as in the past. What Happened?
It used to be easy to make a label now it is nearly impossible if not completely impossible. So far I have not been able to use the label maker as I have in the last 10 years.
Fisces! Is the best word to describe. Or perhaps someone wasted their lives making this software. UI is a nightmare. Never works right. No ability to scale from center or equilaterally! Never prints what you see in the viewport. Increments of moving are too large of a jump.
Have purchased many labels produced by avery. Always assumed i could download a free template if i bought a pack of labels that had a format my software didn't know. Bought some square 1.5" labels. Tonight i wanted to use them to label some product and went to the avery web site to find the template. HEY - you already sold me the labels and you'll probably sell me more labels, what's wrong with just GIVING AWAY the template so i can use the label? I recommend you completely scrap your web site, fire the developer, and fire the tester, too. What a horribly complicated site that wants to sell me two hundred items but won't let me DOWNLOAD A SIMPLE TEMPLATE. I even went to the "help" and the web site doesn't match the help. How useful is that? Avery is in danger of losing all my business. Keep it simple, stupid. How bout a box that i can enter the label number and it downloads the template? Oh then you wouldn't waste an hour of my time trying to sell me junk i don't want.
The Avery site is very difficult to use. When you find a template, it wont open. Once you do find it and open it, the template program will center in some cells and not center in others. Post-it is so much easier!
Just bought Avery #******* easy peel shipping labels, 2x4 CLEAR. Opened package and the label are not clear they are glazed to make them see thru. I needed CLEAR labels, you know like looking thru glasses not a glazed over sticker. I will be going back to get a new ones or refund which ever is suitable.
Just a side note - when you create a label using their on line label maker, the process is not bad but when you go to print they are printed to the right 7/8" so yu need to adjust the label 7/8" to the left. They look good on the website but print a B/W copy draft to check alignment and adjust accordingly. Also do not switch to using printer functions as the alignment will also change again.
Not thrilled tonite. Went for bday and hour after arrival we got food service. Crab legs@$58 pp were good I will say but burgers, ribs and all that comes with really poor quality. Shouldn't wait an hour for legs either. Only give 2 clusters then u wait... for 1 more and wait. For one more. We wo t gi back or recommend
I have been buying printed labels from avery for two years. Every order I've recieved has been messed up. They are using the wrong type of cut and it creates a white border around the colored and black labels. With the first order, there was a notation made that future orders would not be dye cut. But every single order I've recieved has been cut like this and I've had to have them do it over. Now, it's the season where I plan ahead, have labels expidited so I won't get behind. And what happens, they labels are dye cut again. This has literally shut my buisness down because I can't package, and I've refunded Over 1k in orders because I can't package them...im a very small and young buisness, this is going to hurt me tremendously. I have been patient, and have tried to be understanding, but this was the last straw. I have been beyond patient.now I won't have labwls$#*!il mid week!
Tip for consumers:
The customer service reps are outstanding. But this doesn't fix the damage that's being done to my small buisness.

Usually love Avery Labels and templates usually work great but on oval label 22 804, the template is off. 0165". I had to shift my artwork to the right. *******" to the right to get them to center on the actual labelsI waisted an entire sheet of labels:-/ Once I corrected the positioning of the artwork, the glossy labels look great:-)
Tip for consumers:
Print out your artwork then place over a sheet of real labels, hold it up to a lstrong light source to make sure it matches.

I used the product but had to adjust my artwork to fit. I waisted a sheet of labels.
Love love love this site. I have templates i made for a project and i am able to go back and reprint them. I've been doing it for a couple of years now and i don't have to worry about saving my job in a specific PC. I can open the avery site anywhere and open my template and print it. It has toooooons of templates for ALL kinds of projects. Thank you avery!
I'm sorry Avery but you had a winning combination when you had Design Pro 5.5 software and your labels. Both of these worked like a charm.
You discontinued Design Pro 5.5 and came up with Design and Print and more issues came about. Why would you not hire the same programmers that worked on this software back in 1999-2010 and come up with an improved version?
Even your Design and Print offline (standalone version) is being retired so only the Online version is available. I will not use Online only products for creating and printing Labels.
Bring back Design Pro 5.5 redesigned using the original tools from Leadtools, Envel and XLS. This older software is vastly superior to what you offer now. It is shame.
Users will need to keep older hardware to print labels? Crazy.
Please fix your ways Avery!
Worst CD label system ever. Can't find one template that works right. No way to email this company for support, Never had this problem with Fellowes labels.
Tip for consumers:
Why is there no email for this company and why is there no actual working template for CD labels? The only reason I can see is they want to frustrate you so you will pay them to print your labels for you. Not going to happen!

Couldn't use my CD labels because I couldn't find a template from Avery that worked. Very frustrating, will never buy avery labels again.
Sorry to hear you're having trouble using our CD templates. We want to make sure we can help you out and get this issue fixed. You can email us at help@avery.com or contact us at 800-462-8379. We are open Monday-Friday from 6am to 5pm PST.
Only basic label-making, and what little functions that the website has rarely work. I would definitely not recommend, try Canva or something instead, as this is a terrible website.
You would think a big company like Avery could hire a programmer or two to make some decent software to print their labels! Holy cow. What complete junk. Cumbersome and buggy is an understatement.
This company sucks it's literally taking a month for me to receive my labels. I will never use this company ever again. The process is ridiculous and should be closed down.
I always get what I order and on time, usually early... all products from Christmas Cards to professional items are always just like the easy design templates show it!
Pretty much same issues as everyone else, why would the printer part of the program not print what was displayed on the screen? The old version was MUCH better. DON'T FIX WHAT ISN'T BROKEN! This program is designed so that in order to get what you want, you MUST order from Avery rather than use their product and print your own, too bad you can't give less than one star!
I USED THE DOWNLOADABLE AP ON MY OLD COMPUTER. WHEN I GOT MY NEW COMPUTER IT WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. THIS FREE ON LINE SOFTWARE IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I HAVE TRIED AT LEAST TEN TIMES TO GET A LABEL TO PRINT IN THE CORRECT PLACE. I HAVE SPENT OVER AN HOUR TRYING TO PRINT ONE FILE FOLDER LABEL. I AM NOW USING PEN AND INK TO DO IT... SIXTY SECONDS, BUT NOT WHAT I WANTED. PLEASE MAKE THE OLD PROGRAM AVAILABLE TO YOUR FRUSTRATED CUSTOMERS. OBVIOUSLY I AM NOT ALONE!
Ordered $128 worth of items and they were delivered to an address in Hollywood California it took it over a month. My address and everything on the receipt is correct. I live in Texas not California.
Tip for consumers:
Will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Have already filed a claim with my card.

None of them they delivered them to a town in California and I live in Texas. There is no customer service phone number. You can only email them and the email says that they do not do refunds over $128 down the drain this company is fake and has the worst customer care Was purchased over a month ago and was delivered 38 days later to a wrong address
We are very sorry to hear about this, Jessica. We want to make sure we can make this right for you. You can contact our Care Team at 800-462-8379. We have been closed the past couple of days because our network was down. We do apologize if you had trouble reaching us because of this.
Avery is lazy and has created their label formatting system for Windows computers only, without creating a simple system for Mac users. So, if you use a Mac, Avery dumps this off on Adobe, and tells you to download Adobe Reader and use that to print your labels. To do this correctly, you have to watch a long boring Avery video and be able to remember all the 59 steps you will need to follow in order to print your labels. What a waste of time! Want better options? Just buy cheap generic label material made as one entire A4 (8-1/2 x 11) sheet. Set up your labels in Pages on the Mac, print them onto your label sheet, and cut them out with scissors, or with a paper cutter. You can also use a dedicated label printer (a great option), or just print them on paper and use glue to stick them in place. After all, no one cares how your envelope looks. They are going to rip that open and toss it in the trash.
Another option is avoiding labels altogether, by using Pages and one of its standard templates to print directly on your envelopes, if your printer can do that.
If you've already bought Avery's labels, you don't need Acrobat Reader. Just set up your own template in Pages and use that to print your labels. But trust me, when making templates in Pages after carefully measuring the Avery label sheet to get everything aligned, you'll be cursing Avery for not making this simpler for Mac users. They could have made this very simple and easy, but they didn't.
That's why Avery Sucks!
We are sorry to hear that you had trouble printing your project. We do offer free Apple Pages templates on our site designed for many of our Avery Labels. We'd be happy to assist you and try to make this right for you. Our Care Team can be reached at 800-462-8379.
I just got off the phone speaking with one of Avery.com's representatives. This was my FIRST time to have them print labels for me, and it was a TOTAL fail! I got the printed labels in the mail 5 days before Christmas for my New Years cards... and they were TOTALLY wrong! I will NEVER order from them again. And it WAS NOT CHEAP TO BUY THESE! The girl on the phone simply said "I'm sorry" and that in 7 to 10 days I'll get the money put back in my account. NEVER again!
I've been using Avery WePrint labels for my small business for the last three years and here is why I think you should too: Their WePrint design software is super user-friendly. You can order in small quantities which local print shops do not offer. They have the greatest variety of label sizes (I compared all the online label companies and only Avery could meet all my needs). They ship quickly and when I'm in a crunch I pay a little more and receive them in just a few days. In all honesty, when I tried going through local print shops there was some embarrassment when I'd have to admit how few labels I actually needed (we were a very small business), I'd feel pressure to order more than I could afford and I didn't necessarily appreciate the feedback they'd give on how I should alter my labels. With Avery, none of these issues exist.
Now that we're a larger business I stay with Avery for their outstanding customer service, beautiful labels and follow through to ensure my satisfaction. I'd mention the representative I work with by name but then you'd all request him. :o) Actually, I've worked with a few of their representatives and they've all been great. Whether you're considering printing your own labels at home or having a large order printed, consider using Avery WePrint services. I think they're as good as you can get.
Tip for consumers:
Stop wasting your sanity and money printing your own labels at home. I strongly recommend We Print services.

To clarify, free shipping over $50. Shipping speed ranges from 3-7 days depending on which level you select. I said yes to refunds but what I mean is they work with you until the labels are right. They have replaced orders for me that were not quite right.
Really useful website but it takes forever to load, constantly lagging, sometimes it won't load the page at all. Regularly makes Google Chrome unresponsive.
We are sorry to hear that you had this experience on our site. If you are having loading issues on any particular page, please reach out to our Care Team at 800-462-8379 and we would be happy to help. If we know which pages are causing this issue, our team can take a closer look into the issue.
Using Avery Templates have been a blessing for me creating business cards, Tickets, etc. Often times I make copies on cardstock paper and then use a cutter for my desired outcome.
I work for a business and have been trying to find a way to send an email to ask a question and comment on how the TAB Inserts don't stay in the binder dividers. I have to cut small scotch tape to put over the bottom of each divider tab. I hoped someone at Avery could help me. Wherever there is a link for help, you're taken to the same help page where you choose categories, sub-categories and then 11 pages (11 for what I am looking for about tabs & binder dividers) of learning how to do certain things. I don't think nor do I have time to go thru 11 pages to see if there is an answer to my questions and problems with their products.
Also, they show I can call Avery or use "Live Chat".
1) My desk is in the middle of the administrative office of a police department where Brass and Officers are in and out and talking in the open area of the office. So my talking to Avery on the phone is not a good solution.
2) I signed up for the Live Chat, not knowing I would have to install something on my computer. I would think Avery would know that so many companies, including mine, won't allow us to download or install anything on our computer.
PLEASE, Avery, if you read this, add an email address for customers to contact you!
We are sorry to hear you had trouble reaching out to us. Our LiveChat platform does not require any downloads or installs to the computer.
