They are an absolute terrible company to deal with buyer. Beware don't spend your money. I think after my subscription and my credits are out. I'm gonna cancel everything because the company is a total waste of time and money and energy. And I never did a thing wrong either.

Do NOT GIVE THIS GROUP OF CRIMINALS ANY MONEY! You pay money but it's never enough to actually talk to anyone. Then you discover they are not even in your country! Nigeria anyone? Now let me post my damn review!

So following on from Badoo's response I replied to them with the following 'I was not even aware that were was a one-touch system set up. It's only been in the last fortnight that I have returned to your site after 4 years. What I can't believe you find acceptable is that even though I contacted you straight away to inform you of this mistake, you still insist that I've taken advantage of the benefits of your Lifetime Badoo Premium. I don't understand how, as although I was on the site at the time, mainly looking through your Terms and Conditions, and I haven't returned to the site since you think it justifies charging £120 for that.
I also think that you should reconsider using the term 'customer service/support' as basically telling a customer tough luck, we're going to keep your money is NOT in any way 'customer service/support'.
What you could have done is said is 'okay, it was a mistake, but you've had access to some of these benefits so we'll only charge you for a month and refund the rest'
Instead you get another 1* review which has already has 300+views in less than 24 hours, and that's only on this site, plus Paypal are looking into it, along with my bank. Hardly encourages people to use your service or it to be recommended to others'
That was on Friday morning, it's now Monday and they haven't had the decency to reply.
As I said before shocking customer service. Please avoid at all costs.

One click expensive mistake and shocking customer service

This morning whilst still in bed I looking through the Badoo app. Accidently clicked on the lifetime Badoo Premium, unaware that it instantly confirmed payment. Straight away I went onto the Badoo website and explained my mistake and read their Terms and Conditions and read that 'Once you have paid for any premium services, you have the right to cancel and be reimbursed for all payments received within 14 days'.
Not wanting to spend £120, that I can ill afford, I contacted them asking to cancel. Their Customer Service contacted me to say that because the benefits were instantaneous I was not allowed a refund and that as far they were concerned that was the matter over. I can assure you that it is not.
Shocking that they couldn't even compromise. Disgusting customer service and I will be in contact with my bank and others regarding this incident

It was good when it started but now it's full of catfishers and other sort I'd rather avoid. I've even deleted the app. Unless they take measures to filter profiles better, won't be returning.

Hundreds of fake/bot accounts.

One click payment is a scam.
There's no way to turn it off, and as soon as you buy a few credits THEY START CHARGING YOU WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT WITH CLICK TRAPS OPENING UP AT RANDOM TIMES.

I bought 100 credits for 2.50$ and now I'm in 200$ deep, because I apparently bought lifetime badoo premium and 2700 credits...

I had no idea this happened until I looked at my bank account.

Obviously their customer service will only reply that "it cannot be refunded" because their fraudulous terms and conditions say so. Well, good luck with that. THEY ARE NOT ABOVE FEDERAL LAWS. HOLD YOUR GROUND.

It created a profile each for me and my partner using our email addresses, pictures from our respective facebook albums WITHOUT CONSENT as a consequence of answering some stupid querstion about a friend and provided random, incorrect details - have managed to delete my partner's account but mine remains for the time being NIGHTMARE DATING SITE!

I was told that for premium service I was supposed to pay some 7 dollars/7 days and for buying one lot of credit about 17 dollars and it was indicated by message that If I needed to buy more credit they will ask for my approval and send me a message. I kept on using it and my credit kept on getting added even though I really really did not want it. I never knew that they will be deducting the amount from my credit card automatically without seeking my permission. But today when I checked my account just within 6 days time they had deducted 240 dollars from my account without my permission. I know they will reply saying sorry this is as per our terms and you did not check them properly and so on... In this difficult times such a high value just for 6 days usage is unbelievable.
Very few girls will reply you in-spite of your good profile and pictures. Otherwise how will they earn money from customers? They are very fake. I know they will never refund me the amount not even 60 percent of the amount. If they do so I will be the first to declare this again over here...

Regarding getting responses to your messages, if you're not sure why people aren't getting back to you, it might be due to the content of your message and therefore it may be beneficial to try another approach. To potentially increase your reply rate, we recommend that you try to be more creative and use something that will catch a user's attention. For example, rather than copying and pasting the same message to everyone you like, read their profile first, see what they're into and send an appropriate message. Additionally, don't forget to add pictures of yourself of the best possible quality.

I didn't know what to expect when I first started using Badoo, so I just didn't expect anything, I went with the flow.

Flicking through, yes I would get some obvious fake profiles, but doesn't mean I have to speak to them, there is a great thing called the 'block' button. I spoke to people who were clearly real and had something decent to say, this gave me someone to talk to almost every time I would visit Badoo.
One day, on my random visit, I was zoned to my computer screen and spent several hours talking to a guy, we would keep up to date on a daily basis, have general chats about how our days have been, work, college etc and we exchanged numbers, texted and again, all at the same time I was still going with the flow.
To put a voice with the face, I rang him and had the best and un expected conversation, this really pushed the boat out, and out daily chats continued.
Still going with the flow, we met... we got a hotel, chatted in real life, had dinner and had a real connection from there.
What really surprised me was the radius on Badoo, set at up to 5miles, I was in London and he was in Reading, a bit more than 5 miles? YES.
We continued to meet, I visited his home town, met his lovely family and everything was going great.
I am now living in Reading, spending and enjoying every day with the guy I met through this 'bad online place' called BADOO.
I could fault Badoo, but there is more good than bad, and it all depends how you look at it.

I am still going with the flow, but with the man I enjoy spending time with and the man I adore.

(Just depends what angle you look at it from)

Badoo is a scam. They will charge your pay pal or credit card without your authorization.
They have sneaky ways to charge for additional services which are not explained.

I just had someone steal all my funding from my bank and sent through badoo. They ignore any emails and don't have any numbers listed to report the fraud

All banks will refund the money for you. Even if you use the site and aware of paying and simply want your money back, all banks will get all the money and they will incur a chargeback. Too many of these and MasterCard/Visa will frown upon them and even take away their ability to process. They are a high risk business on par with pornsites. So if they want to play hardball 1,2min call to your bank and you will get your money back. If they continue this process of playing stupid they will ultimately lose their processing abilities. So Badoo, I recommend you invest in customer service. Now all you guys stop $#*!ing & moaning, you can't lose any money to such a site. Wake up.

Signed up to Badoo on Tuesday 15th September 2015, received a message from PEPPER, aged 39 and hailing from Galashiels Scotland, now upon following Badoo's "messaging advice" I replied with a tongue-in-cheek, NOT CRUDE NOR OFFENSIVE message, upon which I had my account BLOCKED, YES BLOCKED, why this site hasn't been subjected to an investigation is beyond my limited understanding, AVOID AVOID AVOID.

This wedsite is a complete hoax!... I've been on here for a around a month now and hardly spoke two words to any girl in that duration. I'm constantly being told through the site that girls are checking me out and quite a few of them are hitting the like or adding me to there favourite button, but when I try to Make contact nothing?... I've used other site's in the past pof/match.com etc with good success and I've had some very pleasant conversations and dates along the the way but this site gives no response not even a hi back leading me to believe its no more then a mere hoax and along with that I've noticed once you've joined up unlike any other site I've used, you have to start throwing money at it in order to even engage, that along with there constant pop ups trying to sell you prize deals in order to become a good hit with the ladies!. My accounts down/removed and that's the way it's staying. Doesn't even get a -0... Crap site crap effort and to you lazy $#*! scammers get a real job!

This site has not been updated or issues fixed in years. First, it never send the verification link to your email when you first sign up, so you have to use your phone number or facebook to sign up; it does not keep your profile picture up; it keeps asking you to upload a picture of you when you've uploaded several; it keeps saying the picture of you has multiple people in it, which it doesnt so that causes issues with people being able to view your page and you being able to view theirs and send them a message. The site is crappy and needs to be destroyed because clearly the administration isnt even paying attention to any requests for help.

This website is a fraud. It floods users with ads, pop-ups and offers to purchase paid features. Many accounts are fake and it is hardly possible to find there people for quality communication.

Badoo has always been free to download and use and we want to keep it this way, this means that we have recently introduced advertising. Ads will not be shown to users who have purchased our paid features. If you want to remove the ads, you can either subscribe to Badoo Premium, that will give you access to features that other users don’t have access to or Credits that will increase your visibility and popularity.

We're also doing a lot to tackle Fake profiles online which is why we introduced photo verification. Users that have proved their real by verifying with a photo will have a white tick with a blue background on their profile. However, if you happen to encounter an account you think might not be genuine, you'll always have the option to report it ot our team using 'Block or Report' button on their profile.

BEEN USING BADOO NOW FOR JUST UNDER A MONTH AND STILL UNDECIDED. I USED WEJUSTFIT.COM FOR A MONTH BEFORE HAND AND MUST SAY I EXPECTED MATCH TO BE BY BEST BECAUSE OF ALL THE COMMERCIALS THEY DO BUT ID SAY THEY ARE AS GOOD AS EACH OTHER. IN FACT I HAD A PROPER DATE ON WJF SO IT PROBABLY EVEN WINS. OVERALL BADOO SHOULD BE BETTER BUT ITS NOT.

So Ive been on this site maybe three weeks and out of the three I've tried so far this one has the best looking guys and the ones most capable of stringing a sentence together. It really is for casual dates no matter how many men say they're looking for a relationship lol it doesn't seem to be that kind of site. At least the majority of photos are clear and pretty good quality and so far all but one of the twenty or so Ive met have looked exactly like their photos. The men have all been friendly and lots of fun. Naturally there are some idiots but you have to make it clear what you will and wont do and where you will and won't go. You also get a couple of abusive newbies where it's obvious this is the first time mum has gone out and left them home alone lol. But the site is really easy to navigate and the block/report button is extremely effective so they're not a continuous problem. So. If you're looking for casual good times with fun guys give this site a try. Even free it's been great.

The charged my Paypal NOK 999.99 without reason. Customers service is a joke. They have excuses that are bull$#*! and prewritten, I subscribed to Badoo a short period in 2015, and 5 years later they suddenly charged me NOK 999.99 (USD 108,-). They will not refund me and Paypal is no good either. And they have not given me the service in Badoo they STOLE my money for either.

I've found lots of reviews in Thrustpilot and Google Play where users tells about similar instances. Badoo is ripping people off!

I've created 'FB/Dissapointed Badoo Users' for users to unite. The goal is to work upon Paypal and other transaction providers to boycott Badoo. Please unite!

I matched with somebody and then they went silent for days after we talked for about 2 days. I sent them a message saying that I felt they had wasted my time and that I was no longer interested. They then reported me and I was banned within 5 minutes. That and the fact that I had REFUSED to continue using PREMIUM seems to be enough for them to ban me.

The people who run this are SCUM!

Worst dating website ever. The only good thing is (at least for switzerland), that there are quite a lot of people on it. But it is a huge rip-off anyway. First of all they send out emails to the people in your address book without your consent. Second, as a male person, you can only write to 10 new girls per day, and also only 2 messages per person unless they reply. If you want more, you have to pay. Also, you can't send messages to someone who is above or below your age group. Third, Badoo deleted almost all photos where I was not with a picture on it. Like holiday pictures etc. or pictures where I'm with my gf. You need to have 3 pictures with your face, otherwise you cant see anyone else's pictures. If you have no picture at all, you can't even send any messages. There are lots of pervert guys on the site, spamming all the women all day and trying to get sex. Most women are pissed of by that, and so they usually don't answer any hello. You need to be quite creative in your messages. And even then, mostly they will not even read your message because they are already flooded with other messages. Oh, and also, some girls that get many profile views and messages, have some kind of hot-flag on their profile, and you can not send them any message until you pay for the premium service.
