They are an absolute terrible company to deal with buyer. Beware don't spend your money. I think after my subscription and my credits are out. I'm gonna cancel everything because the company is a total waste of time and money and energy. And I never did a thing wrong either.
After creating a profile, I was unable to re-connect to the site because I was blocked! After several days seeking a response I received their standard email, that my profile was in violation of their terms. I'm just a regular guy, nothing I posted was inaccurate, misleading, offensive, racist, nothing I can think of that was remotely cause for concern.
"We have investigated the block placed on your account extensively, including it being reviewed by multiple support team members, and I can confirm that the block was issued correctly.
To protect the integrity of our moderation processes, we are unable to provide any further details about this block. Please trust that these decisions aren't taken lightly, though we are always happy to review them as we have done on this occasion for you.
As we've now reviewed this block for you on multiple occasions, we will no longer be able to respond regarding this matter."
Such a joke... can't imagine ANYONE paying for whatever service they claim to provide, they must only want the most eligible young people who are gullible enough to splash their cash!

I'm a pretty average middle aged man with a bit of a gut. If I walked into a bar and was suddenly surrounded by very attractive women all wanting my attention I would be very suspicious. If things are too good to be true, then they usually aren't true in my experience.
So on Badoo when I got a deluge of beautiful woman wanting to make contact as long as I paid I simply didn't believe it.

I wasn't aware that they had stored my credit card details A charge of 15.75 euros was done to my card without my permission for sending "gifts" to other users. There was probably some option that was "on" by default (This is the trap they set to customers) but I wasn't aware of that. I was never asked to confirm any payment. The worse thing is that they support team didn't accept my request for refunding that amount! (compared to a monthly subscription problem that I had with "tinder" but they at least gave me a refund)! Never trust this website again! It is such a fraud! All their team wants is to steal customers and make money from them!

I had really bad time on this app. Users were calling me at nights since badoo has this features. When i tried to report this user they deleted my account instead of solving my problem. Badoo team is not professional. Male users demand cell numbers and if you dont respond they report you and the team delete your account. I do not recommend this app to anyone.

When any of our users report another user, we take it very seriously and investigate thoroughly. If your profile was blocked, it's because you were found to have violated our Community Guidelines. It may well be that the user you reported was also blocked. Please note that our decision is final and if we find again that you have violated our Guidelines, your account will remain blocked.
We don't currently have an option to switch off the calling feature within the app, but if you no longer wish to receive calls from a specific person, it's best just to let them know, or if a user makes you feel uncomfortable at any time, you can unmatch them from within the app.
We want every user to feel safe on Badoo, so if you believe someone is behaving inappropriately please use the in-app reporting option to bring them to our team's attention.

Extremely disappointed with the service. I entered their trial period and put in my card details. After it expired they charged EUR 43.99 from my bank account and then claimed that my subscription will expire in 3 months. According to the terms and pricing advertised on the app their 3 month subscription costs EUR23.99. I emailed the support team and the agent continued to copy paste the same answer to every one of my replies claiming that their subscription price is in face VARIABLE. This is fraudulent and charges are not explicitly stated. In fact none of their subscription services costs 43.99. They will steal money from your account!
Unless the support team refunds this money immediately to me I will continue to post this review to every possible website available, social media, news, the European protection agency and google play store.
I will also ring my bank on Monday to report them and block future transactions.

Badoo is a well known 'social network' and that's how I would see and use it. I know most people use it as some kind of dating site but I seriously believe that sites like Mingle2day, eHarmony or Tinder do a better job connecting singles but it is a good site for a fun chat. Just don't expect to meet anyone serous and you will be fine.

You will find transsexuals, and fakes, but no women who want to meet.
Most profiles are simply bots, or the system artificially adds 'visits', 'likes' and 'wants to chat', while asking you for your credit card details.

I think it is a great site and there is room for improvement. Like who would know that a little icon is for searching. Now they won't let you use their extended search options. There is only basic search by city and age. They had by language but that got taken off. This is very upsetting.

I was setup Badoo 4 months ago, I still waiting new girlfriend but many view my profile & went automated messages me still blanked 17 times & some who 'like' me no view my profile or message me first, some lovely women I been sent message still not reply me, I bet many fake profiles or scammers on Badoo, there no one any real UK women view my profile then message or chat me.
Need stop automated message me when someone view my profiles.
I live in UK & alone can't get girlfriend in UK area,
I not paid to premium is risky scam.
Just go night club or pubs meet more real people than dating online many fakes & scammers.

Do not use this website if you are man that is not at top 10%. It will drain your pockets fast with its micro transactions needed all over for any illusion of improving your chances. If you are top 10 man, than this is the heaven website for you and I advise you to use it and enjoy all the women without any real effort needed, other then nice pictures of your body. Also if you are girl that is in top 80%, you can use this website to boost your ego and receive dozens of messages and likes every day and feel like little princess without need to type back, just wait your turn so that top 10% guys can service you all. If you are bottom 20% woman, sorry then this is also not website for you, same as for bottom 90% man.

Dissappointed by my experience with Badoo dating: I discovered that even with a paid account I could only contact about 10 percent of the female profiles. I could send about another ten percent of profiles a message, but then I had to buy "credits". So it would cost around 1 euro per sent message
Making it a very expensive site imo.
Badoo moderating is poor: I noticed several profiles with fake (instagram) photos, but after contacting Badoo no action was taken.
Men pretending to be women: again, no response or action by Badoo's moderators.
This reduces the credibility of their site.
About one in six female profiles has a fake location indicated. These women appear to be in my country, but in reality often are living in a different continent!

I was on Badoo for 2 months and in that entire time I talk to 12 guys. Out of those 12,11 ended up trying to scam money out of me with false claims of love and affection then trying to reel you in with some scam. I never paid for that site but it was a complete waste of time and effort. If you're looking for something real don't go to badoo!

I clicked on the purchase premium for life button by mistake and was charged 119.99 and as it was near the back button it was easy tp do... i contacted them straight away and only to be told as my app was open this counts as having used services... what a joke as i hit the button by mistake in the app... its a trap... i am considering a small claims court action unless this can be resolved.

I am a South African Expat in Taiwan. I used badoo's premium (paid) services, via my credit card, once to access certain features. At no time did I authorise repeat payments. But badoo is stealing my money, for two years running now. I have deactivated my account, I no longer have a badoo account, but to my shock I have just been debited again to the tune of NT$1,250. That is daylight robbery! There is now nothing I can do except take legal action against badoo and that will be very difficult and expensive, and they no doubt know it so they can just carry on stealing my money every year! When I deactivated my account, I gave the reason, 'I don't want to pay'. This is amazing, unbelievable...
Tip for consumers:
Just don't ever give badoo.com your credit card details... you'll keep on paying long after you deactivate your account. Thieves.

Using encounters now means you don't get to see where the person lives straight away... Plus... Where have all have the friends I added gone?... The site is rubbish... Was Ok once

If you pay for a premium membership, thinking you can take up the option to cancel within 14 days and get a refund, as clearly stated in Badoo's Terms and Conditions, well, think again! According to their customer service people, if you pay for a premium service and then access the site, you are immediately considered to have "downloaded" (their phrase) and used premium content and you are not eligible for a refund at all. So essentially, you can never get a refund. Highly misleading, and questionable on the legal aspects, but just be warned. Once you pay for something, that's it...
Tip for consumers:
Do NOT pay for any premium service if you hope to exercise the option to ask for a refund within 14 days, despite what is states in the Terms and Conditions.

- Credits are used to purchase self-promotion services such as Rise Up, extra shows in Encounters and Get Featured. You can message most people for free, and contact anyone you match with. They only offer a decent service to paying members, however, if you purchase anything you are automatically subscribed to an ongoing payment. If you try to unsubscribe this will also cancel anything you have paid for. If you are unaware of the subscription which I was on at least two occasions they will refuse a refund.
Edit #1: Manel M is lying, I requested a refund without using the product and subscriptions are not optional, they do not tell you clearly that what you are paying for is a subscription (unless may be you read the terms & conditions which nobody does), and on the off chance that you notice it was a subscription, you cannot opt out without also cancelling the product you've paid for and not being given a refund.
Edit #2: I meet all of the requirements posted by Manel M, I sent a screenshot of him offering me a refund to their support team and I was refused. It was just an outright lie.

This is not the place to look for serious relationships at all. There's a lot of married men on badoo. There's also men who are looking to be taken care of financially women be very careful. I also experienced men who act normal and a few day's later do a 360 of bat $#*! crazy. I had swingers also offering me a threesome it was a married couple. Many commited men wanting to take advantage of single hard working women.
