70% of it is a scam. Fake profiles. I know for a fact they hack into people's facebook accounts and use their profile information to make Badoo profiles those people arent even aware of and didn't consent to.

This is the worst site ever it is not a honest app as they claim it is full of vulgar pics videos creeps and guys that get your number and hound you they blocked me after being "popular" but yet they said I was promoting hate and soliciting! I wasn't even on then I stayed on an hour and had enough might as well be skip the games I was banned mysteriously someone said I was spreading hate speech after not upgrading and worst of all they don't tell you why say they cant

Please ladies don't fall for the army guys is big time scam. They fall in love with you very fast, they tell you they want to marry you, they showed you pictures of their certificate of army, sent you a link to check on them and after that they asked you for money, they need for internet, tell you they are starving they need food, I told him I need to talk to him before. His pictures is a white American guy but he had an African accent. I got in touch with another woman who liked him in facebook and we cough him on a lie.
Please don't fall for them, you will save a lots of headaches.

I had a bad experience met an Indian girl from Badoo name Starla 25 years old from Los Angeles she sometimes goes by Kiara Rai. This person is fake when I asked to meet up and talk over the phone he/she gave me a wrong phone number saying they were sorry. This made me sick to my stomach. I dont know how people can pretend to be someone their not...

Yes, this site is prone to get some scammers or fakes. However, I've had a lot less issues here than other sites. I've managed to meet some great people and I've recommended it to friends. These people were educated, charming, and being a busy student then professional; I felt I wasn't just seeing the same jobless duds as on other sites. They get 4 starts because I wish there were ways to prohibit messages from people based on amount of words used. Getting,"hey, hi, sup" only is irritating. Also, i had issues with 1 guy creating 12(literally, 12) profiles to stalk me. If they could block based on IP address it wouldn't be so bad.

This is a total scam, ripping off your well-earned money! Got there, went out in 5 mins, and after that, I got 20 emails, lol:)
Most of them were from people from other countries, etc.
And Badoo also spammed my contacts lists with messages from "ME"? I mean, wtf?
Stay away from this spam house at all costs!

I registered a profile about 2 weeks ago. Used several of my real life photos, true details, legit phone number, e-mail address. My communication with other users was polite, even when scam attempt was obvious. After having to deal with tons of fake users, which I reported regularly, it was my profile that was blocked, all of the sudden. I tried to get an explanation, how did I break their Terms and conditions, with no luck. It is obvious that so called moderators are into scam. There is no other explanation. So stay away from this site.

EDIT: Tried to contact Manel M, supposed Bado representative for this site, but he never replied. SInce I don't have any other social media account, this was my only way. So much of a customer care. Just like their other members of staff, that were rude and abusive, upon blocking my account and my attempts on clarifying the reasons. They are obviously very kind only in public.

Badoo is a dating site and a chatting site... Every time I come on, I get racial abuse by white ladies in England not Wales not Ireland but England they are so stereotype they all automatically assume your Asian and think your married an have kids, that's what you call stereotypical, pathetic I'm actually on the site to find love... But how pathetic I'm in England born an raised... Never left not even to go on holiday... But I still get catagorise like I've just come into the country... This site is pathetic an it charges you to talk

I think Badoo are a victim of their own success because you hear, read and watch so many good things about them and their ability to help singles like me find their 'other half ', and you believe you'll at worst have lots of fun dates, and at best be married within no time! I've had one date on the site and it was a bit of a snoozefest lol! Anyway, switched to wejustfit.com after a friend recommended it as a place for serious daters (makes me sounds boring lol!) and that site is on another level, definitely sticking with it.

Wanted to buy a few credits and the site stole 70EUR from me for a 180 day membership that was actually adverised as "14 days free". The site is filled with buttons that look like they will just take you to another menu, but instead they immediately deduct credits or even money from your paypal if you ever made a purchase with it earlier. I don't know how many actual people are up there, but this site is legitimately dangerous. I'd advise everyone to stay away from it.

I honestly believe these sites are not for spanish men. And not only that ppl are on here browsing only and are way too picky. I swear they want perfection. And then they charge you so much for one month. Why cant ppl do a weekly trial..

I thought they have different plans of premiums example 1 week's, 3 month's or 1 year's usage. It turns out they take away monies from my bank account every single week. I am lodging a police report tomorrow for they've cheated me $14 in total but hey it's still monetary deduction withoht my consent. There's no buttons to terminate the charges. What a waste. I thought it was good at first. Now this unconsented charges they take from my bank account. Grrr...

I regret ever signing up with this site! Its the pits! I was thinking i was gonna met some cool females 2 chat maybe even meet up! I was dead wrong! The women are Ughh! Blah looking & they torn up from the floor up looking! Stank attitudes! Stank looking 100%! No attractiveness whatsoever either! I will definetely removing myself from this site soon! So fo all the fellas in the world keep a open mind that you probably wont find a friend or mate on this particular site but use it to past the time if you get bored! Good Luck!

I think Badoo is worth trying. If you're looking for casual communication with fun people give this website a try. But use your common sense and beware of fake profiles. As a matter of fact this rule works for all the social platforms and dating sites.

I swear by God I was charged 39.90 omani riyals twice (79.80 omr) first for monthly subscription, and second for credit superpower. Each time I payed 10 times more,(1 omani Riyal equal 2.6 usd). It's a Mafia, so be aware and don't give them any money!

So i join badoo from my laptop months ago, all good. Then it asks me for photo verification which i do, all good... all of a sudden a bar appears and it asks for your phone number as a verification and has a ******* incomplete number and requests that i fill in the missing numbers from the call im about to receive, so i put in my phone number... i get a call from a local number and not international number so that wont work and there is no other verification option like sms message etc... really badoo? Are you guys really that short sighted that u are unaware that some cell phone companies operate differently? Unbelievable that in this day and age you guys haven't figured it out... not a bad site, but definitely useless admin and protocols.

I joined two dating sites around mid Nov of last year as I was told it's good to use more than one to boost chances. Badoo was the obvious choice, second I went for WeJustFit.com after a friend swore by it. I'll write a review for WJF later (as it's actually my favorite of the two) but as far as match is concerned, id give it an 6.5 / 10. It's better than most and you can trust them, which is super important. But I didnt have as many dates as id hoped for and spent a lot of time waiting for replies that never came. It's worth a try but not as good as you might think.

My phone crashed i got charged £119.99 i dont know if it was a security breach or glitch in the app but my bank detected fraud and returned the payment badoo now refuses to cancel the charge even tho it was not me and i do not want an account should the charge go from paypal or my bank or is not cancelled i will be taking this further, soliciter currently involved as are citizens advice bureou both are very interested bank state badoo is high risk and will loose ability to process payments under them good luck guys

I have downloaded 200 fake profiles, several with same photo and different name. I reported all to badoo, none was removed. They create the fake profiles to impress you when you log in and play encounters. But they are so stupid they use names and fotos from Turkey girls some from Badoo, some others from other social meeting networks and several from an agency with girls. I leave in Greece and traveling along. I noticed the same problem when I was abroad in other countries. Big cheaters! Try it and you will see, more than 75% of people nearby the place you leave are fake profiles... The thing is there is no legislation yet to control them and eventually shut them down. Is it too early?

This site is full of bogus profiles, I was contacted by countless men that are in the military (both Canadian and American), so unable to meet and do other things because they are all in Syria, they all have sons (just one), have fb accounts with 0 friends and are sadly widowed... really! Somebody needs to get a little smarter with the m. O... mix it up a little... Consider yourselves warned Ladies... run... runaway fast... or play with them, they love it when you tell them what they want to hear, and then when you expose them for whst they really are... its hilarious... CowardsThen when you want to delete your profile... yah cant

Badoo are crooks the same as all the other online dating sites. It's a fiasco to delete your account. They hide all the important account access you need. They keep your personal info and credit card.

Subscribed with them for 1 month. A few days later found a charge on my PayPal for premium services which were never ordered or provided. Asked for a refund, which was promised ( thus they admitted fraud with a charge), but never issued.
